Sounds great...I fly mine on the stock motor and esc, 4S with a Aeronaut 7X7 CF....changes the sound a bit. Have buddy that flys on 6S...smoked the motor...but had an impressive smoke trail at speed..
How quick does that 7x7 prop make it? How long did he run it before he smoked it? I think I’m gonna get a higher pitched prop to run on 4s. Where did you get the prop?
Yeah, I wish my go pro had a zoom feature. It is louder in person. Gonna try to get my buddy to do another video with me in 6s so he can zoom in some. You’d love it in 6s. Thinking of going either a smaller prop for more speed.
Mine works fine for longer than 10 seconds, I think that is because higher voltage means less amps, but with same prop, I think the amperage will stay about the same.
Oh oh oh... I have a new one in the box and the same batteries. I hope I don´t try this crazy idea :D:D Have you checked the temp of ESC and Motor after those passes?
This is the stock electronics. Stock Aerostar 60amp esc. Technically the esc is 2-6s. It’s only 70amp burst for 10 secs so I’d be better off and safer going with an 80 amp. I’d also draw less amps if I went to a smaller prop. As you can see though it will work it’s just a risk.
@@albychainsaw80the stock motor is okay on 6s, the biggest risk is the 60amp esc. If I continue to run 6s, I’ll probably change out the esc to an 80amp.
Gotta buy a new one .. flew FPV with it on 4 S .. gotta try FPV on 6 S!!!!! Thanks for educating us .. didn't know it handles 6 S out of the box.
We have 4 at our club in Scotland, I’m so addicted to them. They fly so well even at slow speeds.
That’s why I like them so much. The flight envelope is amazing on these planes.
Nice fast flight! I cant wait to fly my EFX Racer this spring!
You’re gonna love it.

Did you even fly a plane?? 🤣🤣 All I heard was a loud sound. 😂🤙🏼 Awesome!! I got the same bird but only flown it on 4 cell batteries.

So you are running stock too in 6s with no issues as well? How long have you been running it? I thought about doing a smaller prop for less amp draw.
@@patrickconey7643 yep, not sure about exact amp draw, as the outside temperature was quite low. I would not try running full trottle all the time
Same setup, more voltage the current will increase significantly! From 4 to 6S probably around 20-30%!

I didn’t but it was cooler that day so not likely very hot. I’ll check it next time!
Have hit 162 on 5s.
@@yeggs2156 wow, what prop? Stock electronics?
@@patrickconey7643 stock Guy in that video above scared to keep that hammer down. I fly mine on 1800 6s speed is ridiculous
I got 161mph on mine with a 6s, and another person at the field got 180mph. (In a dive of course)
Stock setup?
@@patrickconey7643 yeah
No heat issues and all electronics are good to go?
Yeah! No heat issues
Is this impossible with stok elettronic! Esc is 60amp
