Continue making vids on budget balisongs cuz that's what most of the people are looking for whi are not willing to spend hundreds of dollars on a great bm trainer
I gotcha man I can do that! I still have lots of balis in my collection that are high end and need to be reviewed, but I can for sure get some more budget options in!
I got a absolute pile of shhh off of wish. It's the seller that lists about 7 different models and I got the green one. For 25$ I learned a couple things but after drops It's pretty mangled. Basically open it sideways it has so much play lmao.

Sorry for probably being one of those annoying people who ask for restock updates, but any updates on that? ShadowFall86 sorry, I just saw this, but it’s not that great, I’m now applying my 3rd coat of loctite, if it wasn’t for the fact that it cannot hold threadlocker (ik I’ve done it right) then it wouldn’t be too bad, but every 2 minutes I have to screw the screws back in, and I lost one of the original screws after my first basic opening, which was the first thing I did on it, I was lucky I had extras, but it was instant, I flipped it out, and bam bye bye screw
Edit, loctite finally worked, but it’s still not a great knife, very easy to cut yourself by using it correctly because it’s pretty short. And it has the same issues as all of my trainers, it’s so hard to use, please just spend good money on a good blade

Hey TexasDad thanks so much for your kind words my friend. Check back in a month or so, we are trying to add some more budget balis to our collection that aren't total junk. We've got some new China suppliers we are going back and forth with, and hopefully we can make a deal with them to keep costs as low as possible! Glad you like it, thanks again for trying us out. We just got a ton of new bali's in stock, and will be listing them little by little over the coming weeks. Some of the new ones have pivot rivet pins instead of pivot screws, with PB washers instead of nylon. Those don't have as much risk of the screws loosening up over time. The drawback is that you can't really tighten them, without a hammer and an anvil.
After loctiting this thing, I can say I'm very happy with it. Flips smooth, not too much play or tap given the ridiculously cheap price, and it'll make a great hold-over until I save up enough for a 51 or a krakaraken or somethin
Glad you like it! We were considering carrying the Kershaw Lucha for a trial run, but the wholesale cost through our distributor is so high that we would barely be making enough to make it worth our time. These companies don't make it very easy to support American-based products. If we wanted to buy direct from Kershaw, in order to get a lower price, we would need a brick and mortar store, a background check, tons of drama just to carry their stuff. I lost interest really quickly when I found that out. These rules should change, now that pretty much all brick and mortar retail stores are dying a slow death. How about instead, I talk to our factories and figure out a way of producing a comparable model with similar quality and materials, for around half the price of the Lucha... that's our next goal. We feel that there is way too much markup in the USA-made knife industry, so much that there just isn't any money to be made. As a small family business, we can't afford to sell a $120 retail knife that we're only going to make a $10-15 profit on, per sale (before taxes).
@@ArenaAccessories I actually purchased a Lucha a while back, and it's a very nice knife. I think it would be a tad nicer with aluminum handles instead of steel ones, however! A solid Lucha-inspired design would probably sell quite well, I wish you guys luck!
@@felne7335 Thank you, I don't want to copy anything anyone else has on the market. I definitely think Kershaw has kept the retail price pretty reasonable around $120, considering what you're getting in terms of quality materials, fit/finish, and action. I definitely think we need to expand our selection to models that have more pivot types. We have some riveted pivots, and torx screw pivots, but nothing yet with bearings or bushings. Just need more time :) We will get there eventually. It's our goal to provide "budget gems", not to make the most profit. I've always personally subscribed to the philosophy that being able to have a bigger knife collection or watch collection, with lower-prices (but good quality) pieces is far better than buying just a few high-end pieces and having a small collection.
@@ArenaAccessories I'd say a Lucha competitor or a Krake Raken competitor would sell very well even at an under-100 price point. I'd love an aluminum handled model too, or a channel construction model too.
@@anthonyspinozzi1312 we are working on sourcing higher end models, little by little we will get there. We finally got a sweet (under $40 shipped) 10.75" zen pin model in stock, on pb washers.
Some of our customers have been asking for a basic blade swap, and latch removal tutorial. I go over a few other things in the video as well, but we hope that this helps supplement the Balisongs for Breakfast video. ua-cam.com/video/3obRiv6nB5g/v-deo.html
Question for y’all, is there something that distinguishes this specifically from your other knives of s similar price range? Thanks for your time! (copied and pasted from another post in hopes it’ll be easier to see lol)
@@SilenceUnspoken the biggest difference in our other models are just the different overall weights or handle lengths. Most of the materials are the same. Most are also the same quality, and are made by the same factory. We will be doing more videos on some of our other models eventually, but finding the time is our biggest challenge 😂 We work hard to try and put as many specs into the description of each listing as we can. That way you know exactly what you're getting, and what to expect. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Like he said in the video, probably some cheap pot-alloy. That's a sign of a bad heat treat, too. No heat treat would probably be better than whatever they're doing. Without heat treated handles, they'd probably bend before they broke.
Just ordered mine, really excited :D Update: so I've got it, and here are my thoughts. Took a little over a week to get here, which isnt too bad if you ask me. I ordered the option 4 pack (came with live blade, trainer blade, a little bag, a holster, and a torque wrench) and for an extra $9, you get what you pay for. Holster is very tight almost to tight, and feels like its grinding the screw heads off, also one of the sides of it have opened up, however that's probably a good thing, it loosens it up a little bit. The torque wrench feels cheap (and it is) it bends and twists very easily, recommend replacing it asap, but it does the job for the time being. Now, the knife itself, it's pretty stiff, even after some kpl (which I fully recommend) but it's not too stiff, I can still comfortably flip it, also (you should already have this) some loctite is very important, without it, the screws don't just fall out, the handles full blown fall off. I also recommend *removing the latch* the latch makes this thing nearly impossible to flip, its keeps getting in the was of the blade when you close it, put some electrical tape in the bite handle, I get that worries some of the newer flippers (I was a little nervous too) but you get used to it. So for a first live blade (or even first trainer) I would buy this again, for the price, this is some good shit
@@spartansouza2018 i think that depends on where you live, I live in Michigan, and have yet to get it, it should also be noted I ordered it two days ago, I will update when I get it tho
Thanks Marek, that's a really great and honest review. Please be sure to copy/paste this review once you get the automatic email, asking to leave a review on our website. I appreciate that so much! You're absolutely right about the thread-locker, and the sheath being tight. The screwdriver is very basic, but it does the job (and you can't complain, for the low price). The belt sheath is made of ABS plastic, and definitely needs to "break in" time before it starts getting a bit more smooth. I do have some really cheap leather slip pouches in stock now, so don't forget about the coupon code we sent you for you next order, if you're interested in one. By the way... Mike (author of this video) also makes REALLY NICE high end slip pouches that also have pocket clips. If you are interested in one, check out his instagram or just leave a comment on this video, and he will eventually see it. Mike's a busy guy, but I've never seen nicer slip pouches for bali's.
@@jimmythecacodemon2397 It would have been much faster, if USPS had their crap together right now. Covid19 has fewer flights running, and there are not enough airplanes to fly the mail around - that's their "latest" excuse they've been giving us. It sounds legit, though.
UPDATE: There are actually no bushings used this model. It is running on double sided torx screws with clear teflon washers. We made a mistake initially in the description that Mike used for the video. It was a little crazy, because peering into the pivots we saw a gray / silver washer. What was happening, is there was some reflection happening due to the washers, as they're slightly transparent. I'm sorry for the confusion. This budget-friendly bali still 'flips like a champ', as you can clearly see in the video. We do have two different curved-handle trainers in stock that are rainbow ti, that run on actual PB phosphor bronze washers and thread locker on the screws, straight from the factory. It's been shown in a lot of tests that teflon washers are self-lubricating and less durable, but only in dirty, grimey, muddy use environments. When it comes to balisongs, most people aren't out playing in the woods with them. Phosphor-bronze washers are always going to be more durable, and last longer. Telling the difference between the two materials when flipping is going to me so slim, as it really is all about how the knife blade is adjusted. I highly recommend a good T9 (preferably chrome-vanadium) bit or screwdriver for anyone who is into any type of knife collecting.
Got mine. Not that bad actually, would take it over any knife around its price range (cough, Bear & sons). G10 over steel is nice, it not being pinned is nice, and it flips pretty good for the price. Tolerances don't feel bushing tier. but I haven't spent much time tuning it.
@@FrostfyreAkali Thanks for the review! I'm just glad to be able to sell items like these that pleasantly surprise, sometimes low expectations. There's a lot of snobbery in the knife world. Every so often, a cheaper model breaks all of the general rules in terms of quality or performance.

The good news, is our new batch of balisongs are even higher quality than in this video. I had fun flipping some today, and the factory even applied a light coating of thread locker to the screw threads which is awesome. The action is more smooth than ever. We will also be adding a trainer version in a starter balisong combo set soon, with an abs belt sheath, optional live blade to swap, and a free T6 through T9 torx screwdriver. It is now looking like we will be live again 12/14 or 12/15 due to the fact that we have to get matched with the right merchant account (one that is actually cool with us selling knives and balisongs) for our new payment processor. If you guys ever buy sell or trade knives online, do not - I repeat - do not use PayPal anymore. They are turning up their nose to the knife community and obviously don't want to be a part of it. Threadlocker is a must on all balisongs. Everyone who owns their first few, learns that really quick. We put disclaimers about thread-locker on the cart page, and description - but most people are in a rush and don't read them. If you don't use it... you will lose it... meaning, your hardware :) There are just too many moving parts and a lot of pivoting motions going on, even moreso than standard pocket knives.

I want to personally thank everyone who had interest in this balisong model, but just wanted to let you know we are working to try and get more restock as soon as we can. From the manufacturer these are almost always way too tight, or way too loose.
@@JB_60s Amen, brother. I can't either... that's why every blade that we sell basically falls into that $15-30 range, depending on the type of knife model. I don't personally buy Benchmades, Spydercos, or any other brand that is price far beyond the cost of manufacture. I also don't need fancy steels on my blades, as I have so many (and I know how to resharpen them, in minutes). Different strokes for different folks. Some stuff to me, just isn't worth the cost. Knives are art... so if you're an enthusiast there really is nothing wrong with ponying up big bucks for something you're passionate about. Still, that type of spending is just not within my personal means.
That model is a BM clone, but has better blade steel (if it's actually 440C as it is labeled), so if you want something that will hold an edge a bit longer (if you're planning on doing a lot of cutting with it) you're paying extra for that, and for the spring latch. Most people just remove the latch anyway, so it's totally your call. I say try both and enjoy them each for their differences. They're both cheap enough to not break the bank.
W.d Gaster it’s alright it’s a small knife and it gets a lot of handle play. Ifyou lock tight it it shouldn’t be as bad as mine but overall it’d a decent knife you get for what you pay for
Slash2Gash is another great seller of balisongs here in the US! Jeff is the owner, and he is a personal friend of mine. We are both small family businesses, so we both try to help each other out whenever possible. I will let him know you were asking about it 👍
I just ordered a benchmark. I own a bear and Sons I never use it the blade on it is a little bit wonky like mounted too far back or to wear to an angle. I contacted them and they didn't give a shit about it. So I'm like fuck that shit I'll go to Benchmark if that don't work then fuck it.
Let me know what you think about that Benchmark. I do know that retail it sells in the $35-40 range. Some of Benchmarks folders and fixed blades that we've carried have been honestly, really surprisingly decent. I don't really want to carry Bear & Sons because even their wholesale costs are a little high for my taste. Hearing that their customer service blows, is all the more reason not to mess with their stuff.
i am new to these types of knifes, is there a cheaper on lie this that has a pocket clip? i can see my self edc-ing, if can clip it to my pocket. i cant spend $300 on a nice one
There are a few models that come with pocket clips, but it's pretty rare. I will keep an eye out for more models like that. I know of a few trainers that come with a pocket clip built into one of the handles. This model has an ABS belt sheath that mounts to your belt horizontally, and it clips right into it securely.
hmm balisongs can be a tough market at the lower price tiers, Balisongs take so much abuse from flipping that to get near higher quality items does come at a cost, first thing I do is pull off my clips and latches anyway hahah

hahah I think we all start out with that one cheap 10-20 dollar flea market bali lol I know I did, that was the first Bali I had when I was a kid, and then a few years ago I got a bear n son when I got into flipping an what not, that one I still have
Bro I copped this and I really like it but the thing is on the safe handle it constantly loosens after like 30-40 flips and I keep haveing to tighten it do you know how to fix this
on mine for this Bali I ended up just setting the pivot screws with red loctite. no matter which way you slice it balis with perfect bushings are just wayyyyyy more expensive lol so for this one I just set em with loctite and enjoy it for what it is. which for me is nice cause I dont have many balis I can knock around and not worry about scratching or messing up, I'm not gonna go flipping my expensive custom pieces over the sidewalk hahah
Loctite it and forget it, it's necessary on all budget models with torx screw pivots. Sometimes if the screw head is fitting a bit more snug into the handle scale, that will affect how quickly it will loosen up. Loctiting it with blue or red will save you a ton of aggravation in the longrun. We put that info right in the product description, but nobody reads that far LOL
hmm that's a good question, cant hurt to poke around their site and check, I typically pull my latches off immediately lol one of the first things I do I flip latchless
Thanks for your question, Sal! We do have 2 right now for $22.95 each that feature a spring loaded latch / handle lock, but they are trainers. You just squeeze the handles, and the latch pin pops open. Not that you couldn't sharpen up the edges... but that would totally be your responsibility if you wanted to go that route. The dull blade stock on these is super-thick, around 3mm. Great quality; probably our smoothest flipping bali trainers, with their PB washers www.arenaaccessories.com/search.asp?keyword=trainer+butterfly The one with the bumpier handles is the most curved, and the Tanto version is just 'ever-so-slightly' curved.
We will have it back in stock around mid-November... sorry about the wait. We are pissed too! Our factory is working hard on them right now, and we will have plenty very soon. It usually takes about 2-5 business days for USPS to get the package to our customers, as it's going from the east coast to the west coast. It all depends how soon it hits the USPS's airplane...
Arena Accessories just received mine, better than any trainer I’ve ever used from amazon under $50. Good stuff guys! Thanks for sourcing good balisongs that are made well and not some random shit from AliExpress
You can get a trainer but I wouldn’t because most people don’t tend to respect trainers as they would a regular knife and they don’t mind to get hit but when you move on to a regular knife u would have to learn to not get hit so if I were you I would just buy a live blade
You can always tape the blade, until you get more comfortable. Or I can include am optional trainer blade in the purchase for you, just for an extra $5. In our next big factory shipment of these, we will have an option where this model will come with both blades for under $35
Flipped right out of box for 1 minuate , next morning went to do a y2k and the safe handle fell off and I got cut on my palm. Good thing it came really dull
My dude, these come hair-shaving sharp; so not sure what you mean. If you had a handle fly off, you must have flipped it to the point where the pivot screw loosened up. If you're new to balis, I highly suggest checking out a loctite balisong tutorial - that will stop your pivot screws from loosening up as quick. Bali's have a lot more movement than traditional pocketknives. Also you're going to want a decent torx screwdriver set, or bit set. That will allow you to tune and tweak all of your babies.
@@ArenaAccessories this should be needless to say but manufacturers should definitely make sure their products dont fall apart within 2 days no matter what it is. How much does it honestly cost to loctite the pivot screws in the factory? I dont like hating on businesses that appeal to budget oriented people but still have pride in your product to where it wont fall apart and you have to tell the customer to buy more things to make it flipable which it should've been out of the box
@@jacobbuchanan4317 I know everyone feels differently about what is "sharp", and that's cool. I didn't mean to misrepresent it. It will most definitely slice through a sheet of paper no problem. Even if this one dulls, these are simple to touch up using one of those pre-angled 1 or 2 stage swipe sharpeners with the tungsten / ceramic sides. I do that with my own knives, as I don't have the time to get into a fancy sharpening system to get that mirror edge. That is an art, in itself. Some knife enthusiasts even like putting mirror finishes on all of their blades, in their entirety. One of my Instagram friends does it because he finds it relaxing. He starts with a higher grit sandpaper and then cycles it down about 7-8 levels until his blades are mirror polished. Sounds to me like that would take an amount of patience that I am incapable of LOL
yeah theres def gonna be tap, I'm my experience, I've never had a Bali with bushings that either has perfect bushings or I would need to replace them and fit new ones myself, but in either case those balis typically cost me around 400 bucks. anytjing sub a hundred bucks is nearly guaranteed to have tap, unless its bearings, but bushings is a different story. this one has a tiny bit of tap, but I ended up setting the pivots with loctite, it's just not possible for me to even fit bushings myself if I wanted to on this one
but for the price, I know what to expect and what I'm getting for what I paid for it. and for that in mind, I was happy with it. I still flip it from time to time when I'm messing around, I dont need.to worry about messing it up like my more expensive balis. my bushing balis are typically the more expensive ones. and sadly, even on those more expensive balis, the bushings dont always come tuned properly, and while I know how to do it myself it's a big pain in the ass alot of people will just pay for someone else to do em. that's how I learned to do em so well was fixing em on all my balis lol I use to do bushings as a service
actually, theres the kraken from squid, that's a live blade and those arent too expensive, tho hard to find and probly a bit more on secondary, and I hear the bushings can be hit or miss regarding tuning, but now that I think of it thats probly the cheapest best quality bushing bali out, if ya can find one lol
@@mikec3201 That's our next goal, to carry some decent bushing models in the $40-50 range with budget steel. Who really cares about what steel a knife has, when cutting isn't your main goal? That's why this one has very basic 3Cr13, comparable to 440A. I also want to develop a ball-bearing pivot model. I'll definitely make longer handles like you've suggested, and a few different blade varieties. The optional trainer blade add-on will also be included. Maybe we will even do a spring-latch. The possibilities are really endless, and I can spend a month just going back and forth with our team just to finalize a design, the details, the packaging, etc.
hmm I've tried a couple other ones from his site hes sent me, I'm not sure which ones specifically off the top of my head, but I know he tried to get some better quality stuff in but at the price range only gonna get so much ya know but for what they are they're great, I like having a few cheaper balis in my collection that I absolutely dont mind to knock around and beat on
That one has a very similar build quality, but we just are out of stock on it for the moment. We're working with the factory right now to try and improve the pivot washers on this grippy model, so hopefully once we get the next batch they will all have PB washers instead of the regular nylon / teflon washers.
It's made in China. We should have them by mid to late November, now. The factory we use is the same company that makes Smith & Wesson, Komoran knives, and many other major brands. Yes and we put that disclaimer all over our website. Using thread-locker is like Bali 101. We highly recommend the Vibra tire gel we sell, way easier to use.
mine did for sure, I mean these arent on the same level as the balis I typically review on my channel, but for what they cost I have fun flipping it, I dont have to worry about flipping it outside or anything like I'm gonna scratch or mess up a $500+/- piece lol
You can loctite it if you want to save yourself some hassle, otherwise just make sure you keep the T9 torx screwdriver bit handy for adjustments. All balisongs need adjusting, unless you go with riveted pivots. We have some more riveted models coming soon.
Loctite it!! This knife absolutely needs to be loctited ASAP, I almost lost a screw flipping this at work. You can get some loctite blue threadlocker at your local hardware store, just put a drop on the thread of both screws.
@@Vi-me5sj i *think* it takes t6 torx screws, if I remember correctly... .3 mm? Or something like that, I lost one too ages ago and I had a dude at my local hardware store measure it and they got me a decent replacement. Remember to loctite ur screws!
service announcement: I just got this knife and disassembled it. It does not have bushings. In general, the knife is cheaply made with cheap hardware that strips and tang cup doesn't align with the tang pins so the knife can't even close properly ,...and so on. It has cheap plastic washers (it's just clear plastic and not even nylon washers smh) and the whole thing falls apart after few minutes of flipping. It's a shame because I watch all of your videos and I thought this bali has the quality that you approved. So heads up to all of you looking to buy this knife. This is not the high quality, low budget option. It's just like other CCC I got. Really disappointed. BTW, I contacted the site and waiting for their reply.
I mean I know it's a ccc its only 30 bucks lol but I flipped mine for literally two months before filming the video and didnt have any issues that u mentioned, I still have it and flip it sometimes, tho I didnt fully disassemble mine I know the washers are plastic, 30$ only buys so much knife which is why alot of the balis I review tend to cost about 15 times as much and are custom made or midtech/high end production. i thought it was evident or obvious that 30$ isnt gonna pay for the level of quality that comes with the other balis i review on my channel, i didnt mean to mislead anyone I figured that much would be self evident given the price tag. and also mentioned in the video that I was directly comparing it to a bear and son of similar cost or as a extreme budget entry level option cause I know when I bought my very first Bali it was something like this. noone was gonna convince me to spend a thousand dollars on my first balisong no matter what lol I've had maxace screws strip easily as well, I didnt have any of the screws strip on this one tho I was careful knowing the steel was more than likely lower quality hardware than usaknifemaker for example. it wasnt my intention to mislead anyone. for 30$, yes it does meet my standards because what else is on the market with a live blade for 30$? there really isnt much lol and maybe yours was a lemon I didnt have any tang pin issues with mine but you could be right about the bushings I didnt fully disassemble mine I just know I was able.to tune it half decent, I wouldnt have been able to fit new bushings myself anyway so I just tuned it the best I could outta the box wits a dab of loctite and it stayed that way after flipping. try and contact arena arsenal hes a good dude I'm sure he will work with you if you are unhappy cant hurt to ask
@@mikec3201 I understand where you come from. My expectation wasn't high either. All complaints aside, the main issue was that it advertised on their site as having bushings but in fact doesn't. I can see it worth trying for $30 with bushing even if its not perfect. But without bushing, it puts this knife in the same category as other CCC I flipped witch cost about $10 - $15.
@@gvirux999 I mean in all fairness, the majority of the balis get even $500+ more often than not come with bushings that are tuned very bad and I need to replace and custom fit a new set, I offered it as a service for a while for others and was pretty busy, for whatever reason bushings seem to be something that's hard for makers to get right and consistent, holding aside a few makers who are perfect every time but even on much higher end bushings can be hit or miss, idk if it's the makers dont take the time to do it properly and rush, or they just don't know how bushings function🤔 but I'm on your side if it doesn have bushings it shouldn't be advertised as such, at the least change the specs
Hi Kuo - first off - I did already reply to you via email about 7 hours ago (yeah, in the middle of the night... I woke up, and checked my phone and saw your message). I also offered you a refund on the product if you're not happy with it - just send it back to us at the address that I gave. You were expecting a lot out of this budget blade, and that's fine... but your tastes might be suited better towards a mid-range model. Unfortunately we aren't in that market, just yet. You're absolutely right about the bushings not being bushings. I was mistaken, and I'm really sorry about that. Maybe Mike can post and update in the video description, stating this. I've already updated the product description on our website. Just looking inside the pivot, the clear washers had the appearance of being metal bushings (or what I thought they were referred to...) but in actuality, I just disassembled one to see that the knife is running on clear nylon washers. The clear washer must have been reflecting silver off the stainless handles and blade. And yes, nylon washers are available in clear. Plastic; nylon... it's all the same stuff. They're used in a wide variety of budget level pocket knives. We mainly sell budget pocket knives, and are just getting started in the world of bali's, so I'm sorry for the confusion. The main pivot screws on the model that I disassembled were very good in terms of quality. I didn't have any issues with the screws stripping. For under $30 it's still a killer entry-level knife, and don't forget that we also run coupon codes and sales pretty frequently. I wish you the best in finding what you're looking for. I'll be sure to recommend a model with bushings to you, once I can source it. I'm about to go and take apart a few of our other models just to triple check that they are running on bronze-phosphorous bushings, and not just bronze-phosphorous washers.
@@ArenaAccessories Yes, I got your email and offer of refund. Unfortunately, I threw away the box. But you seemed honest and base off of your willingness to refund, I can recommend you to others. I was a little harsh on the critique but I was genuine disappointed. Hopefully, the description gets change so it won't cause any confusions.
I’ve had this for 2 days and one handle already extremely loose. The bte handle came in stuck so I loosened it a little and now I need to tighten it every 5 minutes as it becomes extremely loose.
do you have any loctite? I set mine with loctite when I got it, no matter what a 30$ bali isnt gonna have the tolerances or hardware of a 500$ bali, the hardware alone on more expensive balis is close to that much lol I maybe should have been a bit more clear in my video about the pricing/expectation compared to the vastly more expensive balis I usually review

How long did it take to come in
After loctiting this thing, I can say I'm very happy with it.

Just ordered mine, really excited :D
Update: so I've got it, and here are my thoughts.
Do you know how long the shipping takes?

I have not worn it in yet out of the box it's a lil stiffer than you'd think but everyone knows it's takes day or to to wear in. The pro is everything else the handles are fucking amazing dude the texture the width is great the trainer is cool but the blade is actually quite sharp and nice. So I bought one a few months ago. It’s a good knife, but the screws loosen too quick so I have to tighten them every 5 minutes
Get some loctite and you'll be all good
Threadlocker is a must on all balisongs.
In my country this knife is expensive but I still want one

Can anyone send me a working link? The one in the description isn’t working for me
Okay I’m back, crucify me if you must but how does it compare to clones of a similar price range such as TheOne Krake Raken?
Put your feelings aside..is (the one) butterfly knifes any good..or a better buy for the 30 bucks more than this knife?
That model is a BM clone, but has better blade steel (if it's actually 440C as it is labeled), so if you want something that will hold an edge a bit longer (if you're planning on doing a lot of cutting with it) you're paying extra for that, and for the spring latch. Most people just remove the latch anyway, so it's totally your call. I say try both and enjoy them each for their differences. They're both cheap enough to not break the bank.

Hey is it legit? Im planning on buying one but i dont use many other sites than amazon and ebay.

How is it
I just ordered a benchmark.

Yes there is one that gives you both blades on the website
Do they sell one at a $30 range with a spring assisted handle lock ?
hmm that's a good question, cant hurt to poke around their site and check, I typically pull my latches off immediately lol one of the first things I do I flip latchless

Arena Accessories thx man. Excited to start flipping tomorrow:)
How is it?.
If I have never flipped a knife before
Do u think that I should get one of these or a trainer
Arena Accessories no complaints other than that, and no it really wasn’t sharp every time I get a knife I test it against my flesh
Sounds to me like that would take an amount of patience that I am incapable of LOL
is it sharp?
Sharp enough to jack your hands up. Not sharp enough to shave with unless you sharpen it a little further. We also have dull trainer blades
is there any tap on it? What is your review on it now.
yeah theres def gonna be tap, I'm my experience, I've never had a Bali with bushings that either has perfect bushings or I would need to replace them and fit new ones myself, but in either case those balis typically cost me around 400 bucks. anytjing sub a hundred bucks is nearly guaranteed to have tap, unless its bearings, but bushings is a different story. this one has a tiny bit of tap, but I ended up setting the pivots with loctite, it's just not possible for me to even fit bushings myself if I wanted to on this one
but for the price, I know what to expect and what I'm getting for what I paid for it. and for that in mind, I was happy with it.
Balisongs for Breakfast Thank you got getting back to me so fast. I’ve looked at those, and they look decent. I’ll consider it.
The possibilities are really endless, and I can spend a month just going back and forth with our team just to finalize a design, the details, the packaging, etc.
anyone know how the other balisongs on this site are? like the pocket clip stonewash high quality pivot washer one is??

That one has a very similar build quality, but we just are out of stock on it for the moment. We're working with the factory right now to try and improve the pivot washers on this grippy model, so hopefully once we get the next batch they will all have PB washers instead of the regular nylon / teflon washers.

It's made in China. We should have them by mid to late November, now. The factory we use is the same company that makes Smith & Wesson, Komoran knives, and many other major brands. service announcement: I just got this knife and disassembled it.
