This mix just got me through a long night of looking for work while my country shuts down. Got told I had a couple weeks left before we couldn't afford to put me on anymore a few weeks ago. Still haven't found anything yet. This is the perfect mood for how I feel. Grim, despondent, determined, liable to run amok with nothing to lose if I don't get anything soon.

My mind was wrapped around this deserted joint and a phone call nothing short of disturbing. I hear faint angelic voice whispering, “on your knees then...” then vanished. Oh, how the pitch black darkness beckons me.
Shadows lurked like forgotten souls left to rot along the damp pavement. Neon lights buzzed, flickered, flitted in his peripheral, as the officer strolled the midnight hour, steeped in ancient thought, eyes fixed ahead, into the abyss where rumors of a madman first caught wind.
Lenny tosses his cigarette, spits through his crooked teeth and rolls up the window. “So, I was working this angle at this dive this one time, right. I go to the bar and I says to the bartender, I says, gimme a scotch, right. Two fingers. So, this bartender right, he looks at me crooked like I just made it with his sister or something, right. So, I says hey, what’s a matta you gotta look at me crooked for, eh. He shrugs and gets the bottle and a glass, right. So, I’m looking around, ya know scoping the place out. He says hey pal, hey that’ll be a three spot, right. So, I turn to get my scotch there, right and he slides the glass to me and well, shit. He’s only got two fingers. I said shit, I said. What are the odds, eh? Then I assume well this kinda things gotta happen all the time for this guy, right? Well I wasn’t thinking but I hand him a five and I says to him, eh keep the change. Interesting, the thoughts one can have while waiting in a parking lot with a dead body in the trunk.
The attempt on Nordberg’s life left me shaken and disturbed and all the questions kept coming up, over and over again, like bubbles in a case of club soda. Who was this character in the hospital? Why was he trying to kill Nordberg? And for whom? Did Ludwig lie to me? I didn’t have any proof but somehow, I didn’t entirely trust him either. Why was The I Luv U not listed in Ludwig’s records? And if it was, did he he know about it? And if he didn’t, who did? And where the hell was I?
"...Tyrell really did a job on Rachael. Right down to a snapshot of a mother she never had... a daughter she never was. Replicants weren't supposed to have feelings... neither were blade runners. What the hell was happening to me?..."
I held her in my arms, the crimson stain spreading across the dark blue material of her dress. Her eyes wide with pain looked at mine pleadingly,"You do love me don't ya Johnny, you said ya did?" My voice came as a mere whisper "Sure I do kid" was all I could manage. She became very still. Lambert was going to answer for this the hard way.I would not stop searching until i found him...and made him pay. I threw my badge to side,I was no longer going to play by the book. Anyone who knows anything about the song at 21 (October)? Artist, song, album?
A Columbo episode shot by David Lynch.
Its a some kind of outerspace
The year was 2300A.D.
300 years had passed since the cataclysmic event that wiped out most of the organic life on Earth and rendered nature into a cold and barren wasteland. The remnants of humanity huddled scared, malnourished, filthy, in husks of structures that were once at the height of civilization. Not living, merely...surviving, existing, as outside was overrun by mutations of once-animals and robots that had long since renounced their once-masters.
It was now up to me, and the group of travelers recruited along the way from different eras, to ride the waves of time travel once again and eliminate the parasitic alien life-form, the Bringer of Death known only as “Lavos”. Not only to save our own world, but to spare the entire universe from a similar fate. Our planet may very well be the only one with access to the Chrono Trigger.
