- Let’s look back on what made OverPower so much fun - as well as open up an original Marvel Overpower starter deck and booster pack. Will explain very basic parts of the game and the cards from the initial OverPower ccg set, which included Marvel characters like Iron Man, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four and many many more awesome comic book characters.
Dude when i was like 4, i was a HUGE spidey fan (and still am)
And the little dollar store in the mall where i grew up had these cards!
I ended up with a few packs of them, just because i saw Marvel on the packaging.
I’ve got a bunch of the special cards, but no heroes lolol had no idea what i was getting, just wanted PICTURES OF SPIDER-MAN
cool cards collectible its one of my feb card games its is a lot of fun
I use a deadpool special card as a bookmark now lol
oh man - i hv some extras! and that's a great idea!
Just opened up my deck and put them with my collector cards in a binder with sleeves, had no clue it was so involved, good video man!!!
Thanks Wilhelm! Just an FYI - im going to continue this series very soon with new episodes - feature EVERY expansion, promos and fanmade cards! Coming very soon
@@escapeintogaming Sweet!!!!
i never played the game but i loved the art work as a kid
I only had 1 card,i don't remember wat it was.but i did like the artwork on the back which had spider-man vs wolverone.i never knew it was part of a card game til now.they should sorta bring this back w/only marvel cards since mcu is so popular
My starter deck did not contain any mission cards :(
If you're looking to complete your collection try "The Orange King" on eBay or Overpowercards.com they tend to have a pretty good stock of cards.
I have a small deck of these cards, i cant explain how now are so expensive
I want to see a video on Powersurge and Mission Control
Good news :) I'm going to remaster the two videos currently here w/ some new footage - and continue this series! I've picked up a lot of rare cards to feature in the season - and will start publishing them Thursdays starting very soon :)
Thanks for letting me know I will get the money to you
I used to place this! But my cousin and I never knew how to mix heroes without the Intellect points, with character cards that had Intellect. Do you know by chance?
Sweet video :)
Thx dood! Im actually getting my cards together to remaster this video with some new footage - and post new videos each Thurs about each expansion! Coming very soon :)
OK - to answer your question about teambuilding: you can definitely mix heroes WITHOUT intellect power grids with heroes who have intellect power grids! They're totally compatible :)
There's super nerdy "tournament" legal rules but the tl;dr version is: you can absolutely use any heroes from any expansion of OP.
I am adding this to the list of videos I will make: how to use characters WITHOUT intellect stats with intellect characters. If you want a super nerdy answer, let me know and I can drop it in this thread :)
Escape Into Gaming please do! Super curious
Another Chad if you’re playing just for fun, making any team - you can just use 3-stat heroes (who only have energy/fighting/strength) on the same team with any 4-stat characters (who have E/F/S/Intellect). Spectrum KOs just mean KO using any three power types - so you’ll have an easier time getting a spectrum KO using 4-stat heroes :) you’re only consideration is that any Intellect universe/power cards will be useless to 3-stat characters - but if you’re just playing for fun, you can deck build around that
Another Chad if you wanted to build “tournament legal” teams, you’ll want to follow the “Deck Sum” Rule :)

How hard are is it to find these cards without the internet?
And now we have “Marvel Snap”
It always infuriated me how Captain America and Iron Man's I.Q. hero cards were two of the best cards in the game, but the artwork on those two in particular was ugly as sin.
