A really awesome invention that was sorely needed. Congratulations to you & your team. My only question is does the machine work on sports cards like basketball, foot, soccer or only Magic cards?
Congrats on this amazing thing. Does this machine work with sports cards? Can it scan cards thru sleeves or top loaders? Is there a risk of card damage if not. Just curious
What a fun success story! I guess my real question being a MTG novice is what is is sorting by? Like does it connect to a PC which has pre-programmed values for specific cards and the goal is to separate cheap cards vs more valuable ones? How do they handle endure cards aren't nicked or scratched in the assembly line? (which is a big factor in the hobby, cards getting graded for how perfect they are.
I sure hope they look through it at first as you don't want your cards going through here without a sleeve and actually shouldn't even be piled and dealt off eachother to avoid scratching. Bulk. Absolutely fine but pokemon has issues hot off their press from rollers etc.
2K security deposit (pretty sure it was refundable since its a placeholder for your order) for them to make it, another about 5k for actual fabrication and a monthly subscription that was stupidly high a month, 1.5k IIRC.
Machine is great yes but it's a rip off, 1000 usd upfront plus another 2500 & then u pay 650 a month to rent, u never own it, yeah look else where, this is a scam
Yeah, those companies with a million+ cards in back log, are so lazy for wanting to use a machine to clear the backlog and get back storage space so they can grow their business. (Tone: sarcasm)
Pretty amazing to see what innovation and passion can do. Glad to see a machine like this.
Oh boy this is going to get real big

he's working on it!

Thank you for having the foresight to build this machine. Where are these machines located and are they available for public use?

Does it do overseas sports cards? Are prototypes coming to handle every sport branding ,inserts ,and parallels. Big money to be made there.
Really cool story and great piece of tech!
I wonder how well it actually handles the cards for grading purposes. Awesome invention either way
My same ? The corners probably get bent
Necessity is the mother of invention. So cool to see this.
This is amazing great job guys! Can your product also create randomized decks?
That’s awesome, does the public have access to these for private collections? Like in Montreal for sports cards,

Are these machines available right now and if so how much do they cost on average?

@@Vindictator1972- $1500 per month is two weeks of a full time employee. Considering the time-value saved, this is a fair price.
Genius 👍
Well worth it when you put your time on a project. At the end it will pay off!!! 🎉
Kudos⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
they are gunna scratch up your charizard
They didn’t mention the psychotic price
What is the price?
That's sweet, does it damage the cards?
If this machine could work that way on sports cards, it'll let me finally finish pricing all my cards a LOT faster.
Does that hurt the surface ?
How can I use one?
You can lease it for a year for like $6000 plus 3k deposit …oof. Obviously the target market is game stores
How much is it for this machine? 🤔🤩
They should have this for LP records
Now if you could make one for sports card breakers that sorts by team. I’d buy one.
Me building my lego sorter :
Does this only work with Magic the Gathering?
Yes.
I'd be worried about damage.
$900/month lease with no ownership option seems unethical, not successful.
smart young man, I hope he gets filthy rich.

was thinking about buying it but 650/month for basically a membership is crazy!!!! i'm just gonna build my own too wtf
People are so lazy now
