Yes, it seems like the Incal film project has been in the works for years, hopefully we'll see something soon.
@@horrormike do you look to the world for your science fiction? I do. Hard science fiction in particular, i like horror movies too. How do you rate video games? I think they're a new art form. But they almost ruined me from reading!
@@doug2424 I just finished reading Alfred Bester's The Demolished Man. Can't believe I never read that one, incredible novel and the first HUGO recipient. I got away from video games years ago, probably because they distracted me too much from reading!
Brazilian comic channel Eurocomics has an interview with Jean-Pierre Dionnet this week. Unfortunately, it's in French.
They've resumed publishing Metal Hurlant and I believe Dionnet has had some involvement with that. I contacted them 2 years ago and suggested that they publish English versions. They said they were going to, but I doubt it will happen.
Yes, Dionnet mentioned it in the interview. There are versions in other languages, but since Heavy Metal still exists, they could get mixed up. The other problem is that Métal Hurlant needs newsstand distribution to be truly successful, which would be really hard to do in the US nowadays.
