Tessie, those African violets you can pinch a leaf off near the soil. Place the leaf in water , it will root and you can plant in potting soil and have another violet.

Wow! Good evening Miss Tessie. Thanks so much for this video. Seeing this after work. Rinds me of my sweet grandma. I so wish I had sat down when I was younger and learned more from her. They didn't call if homesteading but it's what she did. Canning and cooking. We only had store bought jelly as a rare occasion because she's always send us some delicious jars. Blessings!

Hi Holly! I have had my spider plant since 1972, when a friend in High School gave me a cutting. Over the yrs I've given hundreds of "babies" away for people to start their own plant! My plant is so full and gorgeous and it is 50 yrs old!! People can't believe it when they see it! I also give it a shot of Miracle Grow once a month and it's in a south window which it loves!

Hey Tessie! Ok. So I'm not wasting money buying those magic erasers anymore..I love citrus so I'll be making orange ones..or lemon..or lime :) who knew you could make them?
I've never seen the melt and pour soap thing here in Canada...but im going to look for it. Orange lavender soap would be so amazing. This may sound random, but I still love the show Little House on the prairie..it's so wholesome, and they are so self sufficient..and frugal, and down to earth. I think that's why I love your channel. It reminds me of that show...except you share how to do everything that you do to live the homestead lifestyle. Aside from the practical teaching you do, I love seeing the beauty of your homestead.. it is gorgeous..and a wonderful break from the city hustle and bustle I'm used to.

Love the tutorial! I use baking soda in every load of laundry, mom used to give us baking soda baths. Are you having issues with smoke from the Canadian wild fires. It's been brutal here. Blessings

Yes we have a king size bed and I can watch the sheets separately so the fitted sheet is one load in the top sheet is another load I cannot fit king size quilts in it that I have to wash by hand

Generally speaking lavender is a perennial it will come up every year so no I would leave it out at least I leave mine out and they do come up every year

Hi Tessie, i watch your videos from Africa. Some things ike magic erasers are new to me. Kindly, what are they, and what are they used for?
That's very simple the baking sita acts as a scouring pad you don't need to use it but when you use it your magic eraser will clean so much better takes away all the stains and it's a little bit abrasive that it does clean much better than a plain magic eraser it is for cleaning :) almost anything
I didn't realize how beautiful your yard is. The soap Making was cool. So there is no long curing time for melt and pour soap. You must let them thoroughly dry, don't you?
