I think it is one of a very few things among make up that is worth the money. Try in store, if You can. This is sth else than just a balm. It will heal any lip concerns... dryness, crapped lips, flakiness... and make them as pretty as the can be - fuller, more vibrant, colorful, shiny, nourished. The effect will last for half a day after one application, at least color. Great for those who has a very pale and less pigmented lips.
I felt the same but then decided to just do it bc i love how it swatched. Best decision ever. I wear it everyday. Plus my boyfriend loves how it tastes lol

I have only recently discovered the Dior Lip Glow balms, & am completely in love with the hydrating formulation & the lovely flush of color they give. I have really dry lips, no matter what I do, & the Lip Glow balms are actually really moisturizing for me.

At last! a worthy successor, by the look of it, to the discontinued and keenly lamented YSL Tint-in-Oil. I've been eyeing this new Dior one for months in the Sephora app but having made it so far this winter with my peach-flavored Chapstick lip oil, the Dior Lip Glow Balm in Berry, and good old Aquaphor, I'll probably save this until next fall. For a super affordable moment of luxury, try the e.l.f. lip oil. $6 at the drugstore (sometimes less at Target). It's glossy, not sticky & feels light & moisturizing. It's a sheer wash of color you can deepen w/ an extra layer. There's 8 shades, including a pale rosy pink & a coral, but my favorite is berry kiss, which leaves you looking like you've been enjoying a nice glass of Malbec. 😉

I picked up rosewood and cherry from your recommendation in this video!!! I love them. I feel they have the most colour, when swatched, pink, coral and raspberry all look like a clear gloss (and I have the Fenty one) and the purple of berry isn't my style. Love the slight red tint of cherry and nude pink tint of rosewood. They feel lovely, slightly sticky like a gloss but it doesn't bother me. Loving your channel! Discovered it recently and love your different approach to beauty content xx

princesspratu it’s minty the effect is ok, not really „the big wow“ if you have sensitive lips stay away from it or at least make a patch test at home before you use it. I like it a lot but also read the instructions (you should not use it more than 14 days in a row I guess 🤔) hope you like it 😊

They are large and they give the effect of gloss with just a bit of nourishment. I like using mine later on throughout the day when my lipstick starts wearing off, it does help my lips from getting too dry and keeps my lipstick from crumbling up. Also the doe tip is AMAZING. I bought rosewood after trying them all and it’s hands down my favorite lip product to reach for, I’ve actually noticed myself reaching for it over lipstick.

I just put a Clarins lip oil in my Ulta cart but what is this scent you speak of?? I bought and immediately returned the By Terry Baum de Rose lip gloss because the rose scent, which I normally love, was so strong and didn't fade fast enough to avoid a headache. I loved the formula but not the scent so I don't want to deal with another product like that.

I HATEEEEEE the smell of the By Terry Baume de Rose, i stopped using it because of the smell... i am very sensitive to smells... the Clarins lip oil has a very strong candy smell that stays a long time on the lips and you can smell it during the day ! So same Thing i couldn’t use it anymore... you should go and smell it :) that is to say i don’t like the smell of the regular Dior Lip Glow Balm, but the smell of the oil is more subtle, and the effect is way way more beautiful !! the Dior Lip Oil is just gorgeous, for me it is the best in all categories (also, better Hydration), it is so gorgeous on the lips... so i ran and bought the 001 ! I don’t usually like gloss or sticky lip products, but this one is just gorgeouuusssss ! I think i even prefer the 001 over the Berry... i hope it helped ! @@eliesma7821 Thank you!! I was in Bloomingdale's earlier this week and saw the Clarins lip oils at their counter and noticed the strong sweet scent you mentioned immediately so I skipped them. The Dior lip oils are beautiful but mint is the main scent I don't like in lip products so I didn't want to risk it. I did, however, just buy the new Bobbi Brown Crushed Oil Infused gloss and absolutely love it! It feels much more like a lip oil than a gloss and has more color than the Dior one, but definitely not what I would call pigmented. They're semi sheer but buildable. I bought Slow Jam which looks very dark in the tube but it a really pretty sheer neutral berry/plum on the lips. I know you said you don't like gloss but the next time you're in Sephora or another store with Bobbi Brown products, just swatch them and I think you'll like them because of the oil infusion. Thanks again!!

Thank you so much for this comprehensive video I’ve been looking for something like this since Matt liquid lipsticks now are two drawing on my lips in the past few years I’ve had to toss all of mine In exchange for glosses or balms But really looking for some thing that has a bit of color that shows up kind of like a lipstick but yet comforting on the lips and doesn’t show fine lines. The Rosewood one sounds absolutely up my street since I typically go for more rosy pink shades which are my natural lip color
I feel like the Dior lip glow Oil is a scam. I bought it and it's nice but it's not 40 euros nice. People pay lots of money for an average formula and an extravagant packaging.

I have the Clarins lip oil & the Dior lip glow oil, I can say both are almost similar in formula. They feel so good on the lips, nourishing, hydrating, non sticky. They both make your lips juicy. The applicator is different, the one in Clarins is much more smaller, than the Dior one. Also the Clarins lip glow oil felt much more lightweight, but nonetheless the Dior one is too. As far in colors, I felt that the Clarins lip comfort oil in “Candy” is similar to the Dior glow oil in “Cherry.” Oh and also felt that Dior one lasted more than the Clarins one.
Just purchased the lip glow oil in the shade rosewood, and I’m already loving it 🥰 the applicator is really lovely, and as someone’s who’s not a lipgloss person I love the subtle color and shine!
Ahhh I have to say the way you talk about lipbalms I totally relate!! I don't think anyone else understands to the depth you do - definitely should develop your own lip balm one of these days :)
I had the 006 berry in the balm formula and i loved the pink bery color . Very beautiful sheer everyday color that actually shows up. I s much pigmented than 004 and much more flattering to my coloring. Waiting to finish my current tub of 004 coral then i might repurchase in berry :)
I would have rushed out and bought these... but I discovered the A'pieu Milk and Honey lip oil a few months ago and it was a game changer. It's not coloured but does feel very nourishing and the price point is really hard to beat.
The Clarins lip comfort oil is genuinely such a good lip oil!!! They come in so many shades and has such a soft wide applicator

I bought the Berry one, i love it !! I have some of the Clarins lip oils (very very similar++) BUT i couldn’t stand the heavy smell of the Clarins ones... so i am happy with the Dior one :) thank you for this great review, i have to admit you made me buy it :)

I just put a Clarins lip oil in my Ulta cart but what is this scent you speak of?? I bought and immediately returned the By Terry Baum de Rose lip gloss because the rose scent, which I normally love, was so strong and didn't fade fast enough to avoid a headache. I loved the formula but not the scent so I don't want to deal with another product like that.
Hey Cara ! I HATEEEEEE the smell of the By Terry Baume de Rose, i stopped using it because of the smell... i am very sensitive to smells... the Clarins lip oil has a very strong candy smell that stays a long time on the lips and you can smell it during the day ! So same
Thing i couldn’t use it anymore... you should go and smell it :) that is to say i don’t like the smell of the regular Dior Lip Glow Balm, but the smell of the oil is more subtle, and the effect is way way more beautiful !! the Dior Lip Oil is just gorgeous, for me it is the best in all categories (also, better Hydration), it is so gorgeous on the lips... so i ran and bought the 001 ! I don’t usually like gloss or sticky lip products, but this one is just gorgeouuusssss ! I think i even prefer the 001 over the Berry... i hope it helped ! @@eliesma7821 Thank you!! I was in Bloomingdale's earlier this week and saw the Clarins lip oils at their counter and noticed the strong sweet scent you mentioned immediately so I skipped them. The Dior lip oils are beautiful but mint is the main scent I don't like in lip products so I didn't want to risk it. I did, however, just buy the new Bobbi Brown Crushed Oil Infused gloss and absolutely love it! It feels much more like a lip oil than a gloss and has more color than the Dior one, but definitely not what I would call pigmented. They're semi sheer but buildable. I bought Slow Jam which looks very dark in the tube but it a really pretty sheer neutral berry/plum on the lips. I know you said you don't like gloss but the next time you're in Sephora or another store with Bobbi Brown products, just swatch them and I think you'll like them because of the oil infusion. Thanks again!!

Thank you so much for this comprehensive video I’ve been looking for something like this since Matt liquid lipsticks now are two drawing on my lips in the past few years I’ve had to toss all of mine In exchange for glosses or balms But really looking for some thing that has a bit of color that shows up kind of like a lipstick but yet comforting on the lips and doesn’t show fine lines. The Rosewood one sounds absolutely up my street since I typically go for more rosy pink shades which are my natural lip color

I have the Clarins lip oil & the Dior lip glow oil, I can say both are almost similar in formula. They feel so good on the lips, nourishing, hydrating, non sticky. They both make your lips juicy. The applicator is different, the one in Clarins is much more smaller, than the Dior one. Also the Clarins lip glow oil felt much more lightweight, but nonetheless the Dior one is too. As far in colors, I felt that the Clarins lip comfort oil in “Candy” is similar to the Dior glow oil in “Cherry.” Oh and also felt that Dior one lasted more than the Clarins one.

I had the 006 berry in the balm formula and i loved the pink bery color . Very beautiful sheer everyday color that actually shows up. I s much pigmented than 004 and much more flattering to my coloring. Waiting to finish my current tub of 004 coral then i might repurchase in berry :)

I would have rushed out and bought these... but I discovered the A'pieu Milk and Honey lip oil a few months ago and it was a game changer. It's not coloured but does feel very nourishing and the price point is really hard to beat.
