Dear Amanda, you're a great teacher. I love your channel and I think you are gorgeous, inside and out! I'll keep watching and am grateful to have the opportunity to learn more about makeup. I love makeup!!! :) Oh, and also, I appreciate your current videos concerning over consumption. It's a subject I need to be mindful of. Blessings to you and yours.
I've never tried Dior... but now I'm curious....These comparative videos are SO helpful. It's like a Luxury makeup beginners guide with some suggested alternatives! Also super stoked for your Beauty Pie video. Thank you so much, lady!
The colourpop luxe lip oil is so good, never expected it to feel that nice it feels like if gel foot insoles was a liquid in the best way possible, a texture I haven’t felt before and is very moisturizing
Same. I loved the lux lip oil until 2days after using it. The texture is amazing and felt very hydrating. But it gave me a slight tingling feeling on my lips. Then after using it for two days my lips started to break out. 😭Then i realised it has phenoxethanol which always irritates my lips💔
I have really fallen in love with the Kosas lip oil, and I'm someone that detests anything other than a clear balm. I now own three. And 2 lipliners to use with them because why not? Who am I?!
I have a Dior lip oil in Rosewood and I love it but one I use the most is the Haus Labs lip oils. I know many wrote haus labs off but trust me, the lip oils are amazing. Not sticky like the Dior or Jaclyn lip oils.
have you tried clarins lip oils? if so how do they compare? cuz i personally havent found a formula that i like as much as clarin's but i havent tried dior or haus labs
@@RiaSuccs I haven’t tried them just yet. But I will tell you, eve though the Dior is beautiful, I still use the haus labs more. It is more of an oil. And it leaves the beautiful Tint. Very subtle. But I’ll definitely try the clarins to compare.
Almost passed on the Dior lip oil because a lot of people said it was very sticky. I agree that it is a stickier lip oil formula, but I think it helps it last longer. It’s not too sticky imo. I love the big, plush applicator on it and it feels so comforting to apply. I have two shades - rosewood and coral and love them both. 💖
I've gone through a whole tube of the Ulta lip oil, I've tried kosas, nyx and even elf if pretty good. I'm not particularly picky with formulas. Oh yeah and the Bobbi brown oil infused gloss. I suggest anyone who hasn't tried a lip oil try the elf one first and see if they like and use it and then invest in other more expensive ones.
I have seen so much hype around Dior makeup lately! They seem to have a bit of a different vibe than a lot of the other old school luxury brands. I still lust after the Lip Glow balms
To be honest I think the Catrice Powerfull 5 Glossy Lip Oil is far superior and for the fraction of the price. Packaging is not as fancy though, but it is functional and the applicator is really nice too.
I loveeeee this series! It really helps me from buying unnecessary products and i love the recommendations as i try to only shop cruelty free so its nice to get a variety of options so i can take my pic. Really looking forward to more of these videos!!
another recommendation: NYX has no business to have such a good lip oil, but '#this is everything' lip oil is freaken surprise. they're slippy enough, but it lasts. I vape and it lasts much longer than any other lip cream/balm/gloss/oil I've ever tried. and it's cz of you that I tried it. thanks, Amanda ❤️
I like the dior lip oil, it’s probably the only stickier “lip gloss” that I like. I have the shade rosewood as well but thinking about buying the cherry shade, and I’m hoping that I will like it better than the glossier red lip gloss. Another lip oil that I like is the catrice lip oil, I think it’s called powerfull 5 lip oil. Idk if it’s already available in the US but you can find it easily in Europe. Yes, I would love to see a comparison of liquid lip balms and maybe also like a lip sleeping mask or just nourishing lip balm in general. I remember you did lip balm comparison a few years ago but I need an update because your recommendation is amazing!❤️❤️
Yes, I definitely want to see liquid lip balm videos 😌 you know I love all things balmy, nourishing, and juicy. Yes, please. I received one Kosas in the Sephora’s best, but felt to brown /blah on me. I’m tempted to try another color as did like the formula, but I feel like there might be something better out there for me. I have one that I need to track down that I love. It was a one off brand that came in Boxycharm. It looks soooo pretty on. I’ll circle back when I find it.
I second another comment here, the Merit lip oils! They're so underrated but they're the best I've ever tried, and they don't have hyaluronic acid, which can be a problem for people with very sensitive lips.
i LOVE the innbeauty lip oil 😍the only thing i wish that was different about it is that they had a fragrance free version for those of us with sensitive skin. very cool that they use plant pigments rather than conventional dyes, which a lot of people are sensitive to.
I love my Dior lip oil in Berry. I recently bought a clarins lip oil from Ulta and like them both. I think the clarins is a little more liquidy compared to the dior
Suddenly think of ,anyone still remember the old classic goodie Clarins natural lip perfector?! I remember many other brands tried to dupe it but fail lol.it’s still the best !!
I've been waiting to hear your opinion on this, like how I've been waiting for Kit to make a guest appearance in every vid lol. It's a great idea for a series that feels more unique and helpful than the regular dupe videos.
Yes please to the Beauty Pie video. I gifted myself a membership for Christmas last year but I’m still a newbie and would love to get your perspective as well.
I’d really love to see you do a video on the new products coming out that are skin care and makeup combined--the only company I’ve seen doing that is l’Oreal but I’m sure there are others I’m not familiar with. I’d just love to hear your take on the skin benefits and what your opinion is on the formulas they’ve used--how they wear, if they last all day, etc.
I’d love to see a video about liquid lip balms! Loved this video. The tarte maracuja juicy lip is a really good lip oil that has a few colors to choose from! Orchid is a perfect ‘your lips but better’ shade :)
Yaaay, we Neeed a liquid lip balm video! Coming to lip oils, I have been through multiple tubes of Dior Lip oil in different shades and like it. But I’m looking for something more nude and milky colored now. And actually I’m a STICKY gloss gal, I really think Gloss is supposed to be kinda sticky to stick to ur lips and look glossy, isn’t it the whole idea of a gloss really?)) I don’t like those barely there watery glosses that sit for an hour on ur lips and then gone and not even coating them in a “juicy” enough way. But unfortunately the idea of a sticky lip gloss is becoming old school and it’s nearly impossible to find sticky lip glosses in new formulas. This makes me so sad :,(
as someone from india, this product is amazing and there’s nothing as good as it that’s easily accessible the way this lip oil is. and I have quite big lips and this applicator is so helpful
I absolutely love the Dior lip oils. Although I do agree they are a bit glossy however I Really love that. I also like a true lip oil as well. Might try the beauty pie.
I've got Dior and the original, Clarins ones. Over the years I've tried several "copies" of the Clarins' ones like Lancome's juicy shakers or the ones which Maybelline has now. And to be honest to me the Clarins' ones are still the best and Dior ones are exactly the same except twice more expensive, so I was a bit disappointed for that price I expected something more. If someone wants cheap alternative Essence has Lip Plumping gloss that has a similar texture, which is super hydrating and doesn't slip off the lips all over the mouth and chin.
i would love to see a fav liquid lip balm video !! also, if you're open to trying more, could you please review the liquid lip balm from alamar cosmetics? i havent tried nor seen too much abt them but they look so pretty !! love your vids btw
I love the Clarins lip oil. Maybe they have changed the fragrance, because I have the Raspberry variant and it smells fruity. It has the same fat doe foot applicator and I find it to be comfortable. I am interested in trying out the Dior lip oil though.
The Ulta Beauty Lip Oil in Apple and the ROEN Liquid Lip Balms are some of my favorite lip products and it’s all thanks to you, Amanda! 🤗 I would definitely love to see a liquid lip balm comparison video from you next. I always look forward to your videos and appreciate how concise and in-depth you are. 👏🏻 Happy holidays. 🥂
I would LOVE a video on your favorite liquid lip balms! I’ve been on this search myself due to perpetually dry, uncomfortable lips. My favorite is Almay’s Color + Care Liquid Lip Balm in the shade Lilac Love but it’s been discontinued! I want something that’s nourishing, feels plush on the lips and looks pretty but not super sticky or runny.
Merit Beauty lip oils. But suspect they are alway out of stock unless you buy the gift set. Also, I’d like dupes for the Dior and NARS pink blushes. I understand the cleverness of the Dior but the Nars must be a replacement for the Dior demand
I have a few of colourpop’s lip oils and those are the only ones I have used that actually work. The first one I had which was the ulta brand lip oil, I thought worked at first but it didn’t. I stopped using lip balms as they cause my lips to peel after a few uses for some reason, so I switched to lip oils and colourpop hasn’t let me down. My lips will peel over time like maybe a few weeks or a month later but it’s way less then with using a lip balm. Not to mention they last for quite some time and that’s with almost everyday use. I got my first one by them in November of last year and it lasted me I wanna say about two months before I could no longer reach it out of the bottom of the tube🤣😊
I have never been too interested in lip oils. The one time I thought I might be, I got the Kosas sample cards and that confirmed that the texture wasn’t for me. I would be super interested in a liquid lip balm comparison video, though! Both the Roen and the Rare Beauty have been tempting me for some time
I freaking LOVE the Inn Beauty lip oils. They're so good and so affordable! Plus, with the most delicious scents ever, I just would never want to buy the Dior over Inn Beauty. Hint hint they're coming out with some reeeeealllly good ones soon
Hey love your channel! I literally Bought every inn beauty beauty lip oil that has ever come out because of your review. Can’t wait to see what else they will come out with
I have chronic pancreatitis and get extremely dry lips. (One of the digestive enzymes amylase is in saliva, and when it’s high it damages lips and teeth). I LOVE Mario Badescu lip balm the best. I’ve tried them all, and I really love Fresh as well, but Mario Badescu is cheaper and works better. It’s also slightly coconuty and pleasant. I also use Laneige lip masks, but I don’t like them as much.
Can you also try the Make Beauty Lip Serum for your lip serum/balms video? Have heard such good reviews about that but hardly any youtube reviews! Love love your videos, they are so thorough!
If you do a gloss/balm video, don't forget Bare Minerals Mineralist Lip Gloss Balm. It feels great, is nourishing for my always dry lips, and the shade Love is my perfect cool toned my lips but better shade
If you don't mind some fragrance, the Viseart Lip Oils are SO underrated and a decent price per ounce (cheaper than Kosas). Also go on sale a few times a year for 30-50% off.

Also excited to hear Beauty pie mentioned 😃 I joined for the skincare and kinda stayed for the makeup. Have you tried the amicole lip oil? That one is quite amazing as well, universal tint and keeps my lips good through Chicago winters, slightly edges out BP for me.
So many of the super hyped Tiktok products I’ve tried when they came out years ago and wasn’t impressed for example this Dior lip oil, I also prefer the lip maximisers.
I got a Dior lip addict in the previous sephora sale and honestly was mad I spent the money. It has a nice color but isn't all that moisturizing and smelled Chocolate to me. ya i think the colour pop is underrated, and a holy grail product!!
Did I get an off one? The taste was like play dough and I couldn’t wear mine.

I've been loving the Merit lip oil because so I prefer fragrance-free products. Thanks
Clarins makes beautiful luxurious lip oils too. They’re also tinted like the Dior ones. 🌸
I've found that the em cosmetics morning dew gloss really fills in my lip lines. It's really unlike any other and it's not thick nor sticky
Yessss liquid lip balm video please! My lips are not enjoying winter
I love the ulta juice infused oils and the price can’t be beat!
i LOVE the innbeauty lip oil 😍the only thing i wish that was different about it is that they had a fragrance free version for those of us with sensitive skin. very cool that they use plant pigments rather than conventional dyes, which a lot of people are sensitive to.
Very helpful. I haven’t bought any lip oils because I’ve been suspicious about them feeling like a lipgloss which is not what I want.
I’m madly in love with roen lip formula..it’s truly other worldly. Thank you for doing these videos. It really lived up to the hype.
Yes! Make this a series :)
Your lip videos are my favorite! I have bought a lot of products you've suggested. ❤
I love my Dior lip oil in Berry. I recently bought a clarins lip oil from Ulta and like them both. I think the clarins is a little more liquidy compared to the dior

YES PLS TO THE BEST LIQUID LIP BALMS VIDEO!!

Great video, well done as always! 💕 I love lip oils and excited to try some of these ones!
I’d love to see a video about liquid lip balms! Loved this video. The tarte maracuja juicy lip is a really good lip oil that has a few colors to choose from! Orchid is a perfect ‘your lips but better’ shade :)
I’m surprised not to see the Westman Atelier lip balms in this. I love them! Perfect liquid formula for all day, every day. :)
is it not sticky?
Yes to the liquid lip balm video! Those have been a staple during Covid/wearing masks.
The ELF CBD lip oil is so smooth and lasts, and the taste in vanilla mint; not overwhelming at all!❤️🥰❤️It’s clear though, no color.
I don't know if you're into lip plumpers in general, but I'd love a video comparing the textures and feel of different lip plumpers
i absolutely LOVE the ulta juice infused lip oil

Same question for the beautiful lip plumper... 😊Thanks, my dear!
Hi Amanda! What eyeshadow are you wearing in the demo for the Dior lip maximizer? It’s so stunning!!
This video is perfect for me. I considered these products that I would buy in the future. Thanks a lot
I'd love to see you try the Nars Oil-Infused Lip Tint in Primal Instinct! It's such a light slippy formula with a hint of tint, love it
as someone from india, this product is amazing and there’s nothing as good as it that’s easily accessible the way this lip oil is. and I have quite big lips and this applicator is so helpful
Your makeup looks particularly good in this video
Loved this so much! The try-ons are beyond helpful.
I'd definitely love a liquid lip balm video!
Yes, give us more of these videos, please!
Ooooh please do a video on liquid lip balms!!
I absolutely love the Dior lip oils. Although I do agree they are a bit glossy however I Really love that. I also like a true lip oil as well. Might try the beauty pie.
The clarins lip oil is FANTASTIC
Omg Amanda!!! I'm so happy you've tried Beauty Pie! You'd live their shadow stick in En Taupe 💖
Next on my list to try is the Ami Cole Lip Treatment Oil. I’ve heard so many good things about the formula, but it’s currently sold out!
Dior lip maximizer is the best such an OG lip product!
I've got Dior and the original, Clarins ones. Over the years I've tried several "copies" of the Clarins' ones like Lancome's juicy shakers or the ones which Maybelline has now. I always look forward to your videos and appreciate how concise and in-depth you are. 👏🏻

What is the colour of ulta beauty in apple shade when we apply it to our lips?
I just bought this lip oil by Dori, yes it's kinda sticky putting on. I love the look after applying it on. Experience...
I would LOVE a video on your favorite liquid lip balms! I’ve been on this search myself due to perpetually dry, uncomfortable lips. a liquid lip balm video would be great!

@@leonemarie1542 awww thanks
Hi Amanda! Love your channel and yes to liquid lip balm video. Sending love you all ! ❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕
Thank you for this! I am running low on my raspberry one and it’s been in my Sephora for forever ! Might consider something else this time
I have chronic pancreatitis and get extremely dry lips.
I also use Laneige lip masks, but I don’t like them as much.

swear by Clarin's lip oil, SUPERB and not sticky
Thank you! That was really helpful
Please definitely do a video on liquid lip balms!
Beautiful makeup you're wearing! May I know the eyeshadow name and brand? Looks stunning 😍
😂😂 you got me at "butthole look" i hate that so much too! Haha Thank you for this video! ❤
What kind of foundation do you use?? It looks flawless!!
Yes, would like to see video on lip balms!
If you do a gloss/balm video, don't forget Bare Minerals Mineralist Lip Gloss Balm. It feels great, is nourishing for my always dry lips, and the shade Love is my perfect cool toned my lips but better shade
Love this idea for a video series!
I’m not a lip oil fan but watching for you
Can't wait for you opinions on beauty pie
I just wish they wouldn't put scent in lip products since lips are so sensitive.
If you don't mind some fragrance, the Viseart Lip Oils are SO underrated and a decent price per ounce (cheaper than Kosas). Also go on sale a few times a year for 30-50% off.
I love the OG Clarins lip oils
It's both nostalgic and current all at the same time. Can't top it
PLEASE do a video on liquid lip balms!
Yessss! Glad to see this video as a lip oil fan. Love how detailed you are on the formula and feel. Also excited to hear Beauty pie mentioned 😃 I joined for the skincare and kinda stayed for the makeup. Have you tried the amicole lip oil? That one is quite amazing as well, universal tint and keeps my lips good through Chicago winters, slightly edges out BP for me.
Eye make up tutorial!! 🙏
I have to know what shade that is. 😍
Jane iredel and honest beauty have ones that are so much better.
For clear, I agree the ulta lip oils are great.
For colors I really like the bobbi brown lip oils or the bare minerals mineralist lip gloss balm. Both have really no scent, which is what I prefer for my lip products.
I would love to see a liquid lip balm video!!
I have two of the innbeauty ones and they are seriously SO good.
Do you have lip liner under your gloss? Cause I’m trying to figure out how yours appear to be more pigmented when mine is just sheer. I am also using the innbeauty lip oil but it doesn’t look like yours.
This is a great deep dive. Thanks so much!
i wish u made this video earlier before i spent fifty bucks on that dior lip oil 🥲 i was truly looking so a lip oil back then haaaaah but this video was helpful, thank you! 🖤
Really wanted to like the ulta lip oils but I could taste the perfume in them and it was so gross. Glad there are other lip oils to try though
I love your videos so much. Keep sharing!
