GoPro: CINEMATIC Summer Reel in 5K

- Everything in this video was shot at 4K or 5K in the GoPro HERO9 Black. I rounded up everything I shot this past summer while testing the HERO9 and picked out my favorite shots that were 4K or above. We've seen a number of unboxing and comparison videos - it's time to see what the HERO9 can do in practice! I decided to upload in 4K, and not 5K because most of you don't have 5K screens :)
This video was shot without any gimbals, and without any post-stabilization - everything shown was shot with HyperSmooth 3.0. This was edited in Adobe Premiere BETA (which has an HEVC decoder!) and without proxies, and colored with Davinci Resolve.

shoot in broad daylight not on shady area, use gimbal on lowlight otherwise hypersmooth will fck ur footage.

UA-cam gives the GoPro channel a special codec that provides max video quality that's only available to them and sponsored users who have millions of subscribers. They're also using the best editing and rendering software that professional producers use for movies. That's what they won't tell you. They'll just say wait for the GoPro 10 to release and expect better results.

Here's the REAL difference.
95% of GoPro users have little to no experience with cameras so they use auto settings.
95% of GoPro users know nothing about color grading, motion blur, adding lens flares, etc.
Great action camera, great shooting, and incredible editing.
Some shots don’t even look like they were made on a GoPro (not saying it in a bad way and I’m a big GoPro fan btw), that’s an Outstanding Video and Edit bro!!!! The crispness of the shots are Amazing! Very well done!!!

Do the new GoPros allow you to select and keep exposure. Ours constantly over exposed I could never get these beautiful non over exposed images with my hero black 8. You can set exposure but then it resets itself.

Absolutely amazing! So...I have a gopro hero 8 black. How the F@#$ do I get my footage this clear and clean. I'm a video professional. I understand the settings and have tweaked this S@#$ out of the camera. My highlights and shadows are just crap and the footage is noisy as hell unless it's 100% sunny say with clear blue skies and no shadows. LoL. Please share with me your wisdom. I just switched from Premiere to Resolve for my personal stuff...but feel like I can't really push the footage much without it falling apart.

This doesn’t look “cinematic” at all, I’m sorry. It looks like very high quality video.
Cinematic means it looks like a Hollywood movie, which are all shot at 24fps with a 180° shutter angle, and usually filtration on the lens.

Hi, I have shot my first moto-vlog on Gorpro 9, and all the shots are 4K, however the video size of all the shots are easily more than 1 GB. I don’t have much space on my ipad, since my cloud has just a few GBs of space left. So then, because of that I would not be able to export all the 4K GoPro videos to my ipad, without which I cannot have the complete time on my LumaFusion to be able to do edit the videos. I am looking to edited complete video to by UA-cam channel. Could you please let me know if I can compress file by file and delete the original file from the ipad, so that I can free up space.

This is everything but cinematic. The colours are awesome but it’s way too crispy. No 24fps or motion blur... With those features it would be the perfect produkt.
