IT'S GOTTA GO! LEAF BOX BREAKDOWN & WASHOUT!
Вставка
- Опубліковано 6 жов 2024
- Today Rob and I are linking up for just a few hours here at the storage locker to break down the leaf box. Leaf cleanups are officially over, and now we're focused on snow plowing and getting some quality time in with the family :)
It was a pretty good fall for us with getting our leaves done, thanks to the last 2 weeks of decent weather in MI. Before that it was a little rough trying to get them all in, but another season of leaf cleanups is in the books!
Happy Holidays to all of you guys, more videos to come after the holidays, but until then, I'm taking some time off to enjoy my family! God bless.

Have a Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 Brian you and your family 🎄🎁
Merry Christmas🤠🇺🇸🎄
Maybe straight white vinegar....
Years back used ajax laundry detergent and hot water to clean crush panels and anything aluminum under the race cars, works excellent on a/c condensers evaporators etc. Too. Mix with hot water use a suction hose blow gun and have at it. NOT recommended to get it on lexan windshields, back glass etc.
5 gallon bucket and a shovel will clean up your mess at the car wash, buy a long drill bit and electric drill to install your snow markers.
Hey Brian use Rust-Ezz Medicated Bumper Ointment! HaHa! Just having a little fun with you. Merry Christmas to you, Ms. Fullerton, baby Emmie and if you don't post until after New Years have a very Happy New Years! Be safe and the Lords blessing to you and your family. :)
There are tannins in the oak leaves that are acidic. Maybe put a vinyl wrap on the bumper to protect it
I was also thinking. If the ground is to frozen to put the markers in the ground what if you bought like a 3/8" or 1/4 inch really long drill bit and take a drill and drill a hole to put the marker in? Just an idea.
From Springfield MA Gonzalez Landscaping use aluminum cleaners acid spray on the hole rear bumper brushes out and see acid don't hurts the paint that's what I use after finishing my leave clean up
Ty!
Love it haha
Just thouhgt I'd mention that some of the DIY washers have cash/change as well as credit card options. The one in my area has both but the credit is a little more bang for your buck.
Do you have a report on your new truck
Nothing lately.
Comment on crome
Is that Billygoat locked on. Theives?
Nope.
@@BriansLawnMaintenance ok. One of my storage units got robbed a few years ago
“Just the tip”…..ouch, ouch, you’re on my hair!
Happy holidays everyone!!
Ballard mower magic
Love the videos!!! Question for ya ... How big is that storage unit?
Just 10x10!
Merry Christmas to you, Liz, Emmie, and Foreman Rob! Thank you for all the excellent content this year, I've enjoyed it.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!..🎄🎉
Any issues with DOT and the gvwr of the truck with the leaf box full? Seems a bit of overkill for that truck...🤷
Not at all. The truck is 9,500 lbs, and that leaves me 15K to play with.
Thank you for the vid
Merry Christmas brians lawn maintenance
That bumper issue is the same thing that happens to r salt dogs but we don't worry about it. Since we use them for snow salt sits on them about 3 inches but we wash them after ever run
Great Video Guys
What is the dump bed insert you’re running ? Do you run it year round ?
Yessir. It’s a Buyers Dump Insert.
You’re “that guy” at the car wash that leaves that mess.
Yup you’re right buddy! I’m sure you’ve never ever used the coin wash bays yourself and power washed anything that didn’t leave a mess. Honored to meet someone like you. Thank you for your comment and introducing yourself.
I found Brian and robs loose. Screws they on the by the back piece of the plywood with the hole in it
Brian, try and use a perforated cover. Plastic tarp from home depot will trap moisture underneath and actually speed up the corrosion on the goat
Thanks Joseph, I'll check that out!
Next time rhino line it...
Spray fluid film or other coating on Billy Goat.
Great idea Gerald!
Make sure to cover the hose for your vacuum. They will break down in the sun.
Brian, nice to see ur finally taking the leaf box off! Lol. I catch and dump grass in my dumper dogg, when it starts to compost and or rain the water it produces runs out and on to my bumper it leaves an awful green residue. I use the dark simple green and a soft scrub brush to wash my truck. Takes any of the crap off the chrome or paint without damage to the clearcoat. Works great for a bug and tar remover as well.
Merry Christmas to u and ur family! And of course to Rob as well
I had the same thing planned today after some light rain in the morning, which postponed some fence repairs until tomorrow. However, upon returning from dumping the remaining leaves I started feeling like crap. A buddy of mine was contending the other day that when we leave grass and leaves in our trucks it rusts the steel quickly. Merry Christmas Brian!
When washing your truck, careful using the brush if it has stiff bristles, it can damage the clear coat and over time create small scratches that look like swirls in direct light
It can, yep. We haven't had any issues at this car wash, they honestly keep their stuff in pretty good shape!
Any news on a plow for the 570
Nothing yet, no need!
@@BriansLawnMaintenance multiforce plow?
Ditto weather for Western Michigan also :(
Brian,
What about the hose? Will the sun and snow hurt it? Merry Christmas to all three of the Fullerton’s and Foreman Rob and his family. May Gods blessings come down upon all of you this Christmas season and into the year 2022.
We did remove the hose, yessir!
Great video Brian, happy early Christmas Brian and Rob! They don’t have any car washes like that where I live it is all technology animated, but if I have something like that to wash I just use my Stihl pressure washer!
That must be hard cause in 4 months you have to put it back up for spring cleanups
DO NOT USE THAT FOAM BRUSH with a nice truck. People drop it on the floor and little stones and crap are inside that brush and it will damage your vehicle's paint. If it is an old truck have at it.
Our place keeps them pretty nice thankfully. We haven’t had any real issues on our paint!
SOS pad and car soap on bumper🎅🏻🎄
Hey Bri, maybe the Mower Magic by your boy Cory "Ballard products" can help clear out all that yuck off the bed/bumber, I'm sure he'll hook you up, no Brians10 needed! 😁
Ha!
Brian, I have the perfect product for your bumper, but I made a few calls, and I cannot mail it because it is Haz mat. If you ever see a product by DW Davies called Wheel Brite. They make both a chrome and aluminum cleaner that you spray on the surface and rinse off. If you find it buy it. Don't let it sit on the surface for more than 30 seconds and over rinse when cleaning it off. If you are ever at a semi shop, see if they have a cleaner. A truck stop might have something. You might also want a plastic toothbrush to help scrub some of the dirt off. A plastic toothbrush will not hurt the finish. I know what I am talking about because I have used it before and as you will learn I know how to detail cars.
I’ll check it out thanks buddy
I made an investment at a local automatic car wash. I pay $36.00 per month and can get the truck washed as many time as I want each month. I have the full service.
If possible I’d try to put the Billy Goat hose inside out of the sun UV will kill it.
Yeah we did, good call!
First!
