Did we ever think so many years ago that we would see Meredith and Addison smiling together and having fun like this with Derek and Meredith's kids.....I still miss the early years of Grey's and I still miss Private Practice...Addison was great on both shows.
Meredith and Addisone Never hated each other actually Addy said she respected Mer very much and so did Meredith, they worked together and they never fight because they took their anger to the right person Derek.

This is what growth and maturity looks like. SO proud of Mer and Addi. Derek loved them both in their time and season and he would be so happy to see that they can finally be at this place. I used to hate Addi as an adolescent in love with the idea of love but now in rewatching I understand her so much more. Their children is Derek's legacy we see him in Bailey's smile and eyes, in Zola's demanor and easy smart/ charm and Ellis has his cocky tantrum throwing self when he does not get his way. Continue to rest Derek (a beloved character we mourned as if you were a real life friend).
Nope Back in season 3 (I think) she slept with Alex and he had brought her to his room (which was actually George's originally). But anyway, without knowing, she spent the night there and in the morning she discovered it was Meredith's house she was in.
I hope that she come back too. At her beginning time at Grey’s I hate her so much, because she ruined the wonderful relationship from Meredith an Derek, but later I start to love her ( I was so so sad about her opinion to left Grey+ Sloan for this weird Oceanside wellness in LA ;(

I just saw this part yesterday, and it was very emotional. There is so many changes for Mer since season 1, but she is this pure soul we met 17 years ago.
The look that Addison made while looking at Bailey and then to Meredith before Zola said hi was her noticing how Bailey looked exactly like Derek and looking to Meredith as if to say "Oh my god Mer, he looks just like his dad and I'm so glad you let me see them!".
Love to see this. Divorce and new families can be messy. But to see Addy and Mer become friends and Addy welcomed into the home was beautiful. Meant so much to Amelia too ❤

Kate Walsh smiled through her tears and said everything about moving on, acceptance and love. Derek broke her heart but she also has happy memories with him. And now he is no more but his kids are.
Auntie Addison in full force ❤️❤️❤️ was so happy when she finally met them. Poor woman was still mourning their love when he passed. I think Meredith knew that in her own way, meeting them might be a small thing to most people but that was everything for Addison. She finally saw he was still around just living through his children
I always wondered what their life was before Seatle, Addie, Derek, Naomi, Sam, Mark and even Amelia, would've love some flashback to that time- missed opportunity

@@allinaflutter6117 i get what you are trying to say. infidelity is not okay but Derek's response was straight up hypocritical. it was not his heart that was broken, it was his ego. he had been a cold, distant and indifferent partner and never made any effort to change that to save his marriage. he had an ego complex and that is why he kept punishing addison with all those cruel words/ actions. like seriously...you know you stopped loving your wife at some point ...so what is this truly about then? and its not like everything was perfect with meredith either, he was crappy to her too, never saw her as a professional equal and was on the verge of cheating on her before he died , so yeah, he might have had dreamy looks but his personality was FAR FROM IT.
