Brilliant commentary from Emann Andrews.
Andrews
Everyone dressed in their suit and tie, proper dresses and full shoes.
Reminds me of when I was working in a call centre for Transport For London, an Indian heritage guy saying that his father told him how when he came to London, everyone was so smart and well dressed, polite and helpful and kind, unlike on the buses and tubes today.
I was surprised to see all the rubbish left on the sands when people went home. I don't remember it like that. There were bins everyone used. Also surprised the amount of deckchairs to be collected. I remember you paid a deposit you got back when you returned the chair. I suppose things changed to that later.
Absolutely "BEAUTIFUL" England when it was TRULY England! 🇬🇧 Which SADLY is in direct opposition to what it is today!
Stop talking nonsense .
@@andynixon2820 I totally agree, you absolutely do need to "stop talking nonsense"!
What does that even mean? Was there a tsunami or something? Pretty sure the island is the same. Pretty vague and generic comment.
1954 and this video should have been called 'enjoy the real England while you effing can'!!!
Margate at its best
Great Cary Grant and even a modernised jungle rope bridge near the beginning. A B benefit.
Another country. Another people. All gone.
Is that a 20 something Terry Wogan narrating that? 😂
Sounds like Shamus Android.
@@Offshoreorganbuilder Oooh inee bold? Showing yer age, Mr. 'Orn - just like myself 😂😂😂
Sounds more like Eamonn Andrews, presenter of This is your life, as well as many other things, I think he even presented World Of Sport in his early days.
Is the commentator Amen Andrews?
Dirty buggers, couldn’t they take their crap home with them?
Wow, all that litter at the end! And the older generations have the audacity to tell us youngsters that they were better than us whenever scenes of a modern festival aftermath are shown!
There were plenty of youngsters there, and, obviously, they were the ones dropping the litter.
@@Offshoreorganbuilder The youngsters became baby boomers.
how come all the blokes are dressed like its winter😂
Because of the biting wind!(?)
@@Offshoreorganbuilder why arent the women and kids ?
The indoctrination to prepare oneself for spousal violence was full of punch.
Don't be so ridiculous.
Utterly sick to death of silly woke snowflakes commenting on a time and women they never knew.
@@karenblackadder1183 Yeh. I'm woke. What about you?
@@karenblackadder1183 I don't give a flying flamingo 🦩 (or a static one) about what YOU are sick of. You're not the boss of me now (and you're not so big) 🤣.
