Just started the video and I have predictions: dice throne and I have the voice of Jamie in my head screaming villainous. Oh - nvm… it’s right here in the honorable mentions as I write this - lol. I’m sticking with my dice throne prediction!
YEY for SW Rebellion :) Jeff is gonna make me give Red Arcana anothe change... I would also suggest Hive and Five Tribes (which at two players means two turns per player and that is just spicey)
I love seeing Grand Austria Hotel and Dice Throne on this list! We just discovered Grand Austria Hotel in the last six months or so, and it became an immediate favorite. We've only played it at 2P so far; maybe I shouldn't be in a rush to try it at higher counts. And Dice Throne is just my favorite game, period. And I'm not just saying that to earn points with Jeff. 😂
I have Pagan lying around since the Kickstarter back in 20...21?! I really hope to get it to the table at some point. WOuld love for a breakdown of the villainous characters
Would abso-LUTE-ly watch a video with your takes on the different Villainous characters. I have all of them (regular and Star Wars) because we love the system, but admittedly don't play it a ton (since we have so many unplayed games we're trying to work through) so we're not as familiar with some of the newest ones, and have started to feel a bit lukewarm about them. But we also almost exclusively play it at two, because every game we've experienced with more than that has had at least one person want to tap out before we finish because it runs so long. So your take would be a welcome watch! And I can't wait to try Pagan! I watched your play through and the one from the Brothers Murph, and I'm just getting more and more excited to give it a shot. Other ones that we fell in love with at two (that you didn't already talk about, and sticking with less conventional picks) were Vagrantsong, My Father's Work, and Mantis Falls, all for very, VERY different reasons. I'm curious if you two have tried Harrow County yet; got my copy a while back, but hadn't played it because of some damaged parts that got replaced recently, and I'm waiting to have a good chunk of time to dive into it. I know you can play it at three bringing in Hester, but it definitely feels like it's geared towards two.
@@FostertheMeeple Ah, of course you do! According to my watch history, I've even seen it!!! :P It was a while back, so I probably just forgot-I see there was a play through which is the one I saw, and a preview (though admittedly I don't usually watch those, on any of the channels I follow). I'll have to go back and rewatch the end to get your thoughts on it.
Great list. I play almost exclusively at 2p with my Dad and love almost all the games on your list. I haven't tried your #1 yet - Votes for Women and hope to try it soon. :)
(grumble grumble grumble) As soon as I saw Pagan on someones games to checkout at GenCon I knew I had to have it. It's flat out phenomenal! I've only played it 3 times, but It may be my most favorite 2 player game of all time. It seems like a mashup of Clue and dice throne (counter and playing cards for cost). It's just a blast. (grumble grumble grumble) We may have to check out Grand Austrian.
Great list, thank you! So many to name, it would be rough to keep it to 10. I need to look at the Robin Hood game....might help me trick my wife into playing a war game 😈
Great video! Do you know what saddens me the most? It’s how you guys need to add disclaimers all the time just to avoid mean comments. Really, people, what’s wrong with the community? I think sometimes people forget we’re talking about games and toys, you know? Anyways, love your work!
First off, haters gone hate, they can go somewhere with that negative energy. Why watch if you’re just going to criticize? Anyhow, ya’ll are great, your picks are valid for you. Aaannnd probably others. But the real question: where can I can me a Boop plushie?!?!? 😂 that’s great.
I’m not ‘coming at you’ but I’m curious if 7 Wonders Duo was on your list before and just dropped off and if so was there any reason(s) for that other then the 10 on your current list are just better?
7 wonders duel would have been on the list years ago but we don’t enjoy it as much anymore, Jeff still plays occasionally but for me (Jamie) it just doesn’t hit
Probably would be weird to put summoner wars on the list since we haven’t played it. Here’s some advice for you. The games you like, not everyone may like. I know, I know. Earth shattering information but it’s true. You’re welcome.

Just started the video and I have predictions: dice throne and I have the voice of Jamie in my head screaming villainous. Oh - nvm… it’s right here in the honorable mentions as I write this - lol. I’m sticking with my dice throne prediction!
I highly recommend Run from Fowers Games. It's such a good head to head hidden movement game. It's fast and has a lot of variability in it!
YEY for SW Rebellion :)
Jeff is gonna make me give Red Arcana anothe change...
I would also suggest Hive and Five Tribes (which at two players means two turns per player and that is just spicey)
We’ve played both!! Great games for sure!
His sweatshirt is so nice. What is it and where can i buy it?
It’s from eastcoast lifestyle! They have an online shop
@@FostertheMeeple Thanks. Aaaaw, it’s already sold out in my size. 😢
Please do the Villainous video! I’d be curious to see what characters you all think are best with 2 players
We have a video on Harrow County!
@@FostertheMeeple Ah, of course you do! According to my watch history, I've even seen it!!! :P
It was a while back, so I probably just forgot-I see there was a play through which is the one I saw, and a preview (though admittedly I don't usually watch those, on any of the channels I follow).
Jeff please get us dice throne digital soon! I’d spend too much money to play if I had to!
I have no ability or influence over that but hopefully someday!
@@FostertheMeepleI don’t believe you, you could sell water to a fish!
Y’all are too, too rad.
Right back at you!!!
Thanks! And we would agree, it’s a very unusual thing but happens all the time 😂 people love being negative nancys on the internet!
Have you played Summoner Wars?
We haven’t!
@@FostertheMeeple Definitely recommend trying it out, my favorite two player by far!
You just made my day announcing LOTR: the confrontation is being reprinted. Do you know when by chance??
Unfortunately I do not! Hopefully quickly haha
@@FostertheMeeple I mean I’ve waited this long lol
First off, haters gone hate, they can go somewhere with that negative energy. Why watch if you’re just going to criticize?
Anyhow, ya’ll are great, your picks are valid for you. Aaannnd probably others. But the real question: where can I can me a Boop plushie?!?!? 😂 that’s great.
We grabbed it at gencon, but they might have a webstore?
I want Lord of the Rings the Confrontation, but only the old smaller box edition.
Have you tryed Beer&bread or Watergate? Big hi from Serbia :)
Yes to watergate (it’s great) no to beer & bread!
No Unmatched and Summoner Wars is mind boggling
Probably would be weird to put summoner wars on the list since we haven’t played it. Here’s some advice for you. The games you like, not everyone may like. I know, I know. Earth shattering information but it’s true. You’re welcome.
@@FostertheMeeple how would you dislike something you haven't played? this is a stupid reaction from you haha.. instead of saying we will try it because we're boardgame content creators, now you're using this lame excuses haha
HOW DARE YOU NOT INCLUDE MY FAVORITE 2 PLAYER GAME!!!! jkjk 😜🤣
Great list! I really want to try a Gest of robinhood, it's just sooo pricey lol, it's on the list though!
It’s currently in beta on BGA!! Hopefully available to the public soon
What about two player card games
Pagan is a very good game.
Gest of robin hood is on bga? I don't see it. Maybe it is in alpha?
It is in Alpha but it works so well I’m sure it will be fully released soon!
Have you ever played Targi?
We have!
Have you tried The binding of Isaac 4 Souls? We became addicted with my wife and have played it the most by far, even if she beats me most of the times… 😅
I’ve almost bought that game multiple times but have never done it!
1 minute chess, 2 minute chess, 3 minute chess, magic, dominion, stratego, scrabble, archeology? dead mans draw? soooo many card games, euchre? etc etcetc... soooo many card games ha wait those arent board games! :) "hey that's my fish" is good. othello? oooh five tribes is a good 2 player
@@alexgordonepic are these your favourites?
Jeff, my girlfriend demands that I find out how to get your hoodie. She says she must have it. Please help me out here.
The brand is “east coast lifestyle” if you google it, should come up!!
I like game, you like game. Game game game. Like like like. I’m a monkey
👍🏼 cool
Jeff is such a hot daddy 🥵
I thought you like unmatched 🙄
We do. We literally say “we wanted to pick games people might not be as aware of” 🙄
So...here i am...i havent even started the list yet but i felt it necessary...i have arrived .."AGGRESSION IN THE COMMENTS!!" mwahahahaha...i strike again.
“AGGRESSIVE RESPONSE”
@@FostertheMeeple ahh touche....you have won this battle..but not the war...I shall strike again! Lol great video guys.
Jesus; It's a breakup.
Pardon
First
If you have no particular order, just list them alphabetically.
Or we can list them how we choose to list them! :)
@@FostertheMeeple How chaotic!
DEAD ALIVE!!!!
I enjoy the Disney Sorcerer's Arena game 2player way more than I should - and diemension game's Twisted Fables...now I just need a 2nd player to play things with :). I've added boop and confrontation to my 'try these' list
Haven’t played dead alive yet!
@@FostertheMeeple the movie! I just got excited
Also you both must drink from the fountain of youth because I swear you guys look like college students, lucky genes!
Haha we wish!
