You mention in the video that they didn't list Xmax. They do list it as 10.5mm on their website. However, they don't show some of the more common specs like Sd or Vas.
I downloaded the manual for that driver from their website and it shows Xmax, Sd and Vas. So I don't know what's missing! Lol You said Xmax in the video, but do you really need to know that? Nah. Lol
I run a skar vvx v3 8 in a custom box tuned at 31hz after diplacement running off a power acoustik razor 2500.1d getting roughly 6-700 rms and it's nice. I also got a vfl audio 6.5 in a custom box tuned at 32 hz on a kenwood 1000 watt class d getting around 500 rms and it's amazing. Really hard for me to tell witch is louder but the vfl audio sounds way cleaner imo
I'm totally turned off when I see a brand put ludacris ratings on there box. It is laughable to say a consumer grade 8" sub has a 4000W rating bordering on offensive. even a boutique custom 8" sub built to handle 4000w even "max" it would have a huge motor a super stout coil and suspension so stiff it would have an FS of 80... even most 2.5" coil 100oz subs are rated to handle 750ish watts. The only people that look at foolish crazy max ratings are newbies there trying to decieve so it makes you wonder about a companys ethics....
Aaron Waltz this is a ridiculous rating... can’t wrap my mind around why DB Research Group would do such a thing... looking at the technology it should be rated 400RMS/800MAX.... we will soon see it perform free air and then in an enclosure
