I’m Irish, and people say often that because Ireland has won 7 times, and has hosted it 7 times, it was costing too much money so RTÉ started sending in really bad entries because they didn’t want Ireland to win again. But this year, it seems like it’s actually good. Lol.

The song had massive staging potential, AND IT DELIVERED I loved it since it’s release as well, and I’m so happy it got the glow-up it deserved!!! (Not that you can ever make a glow-down of an Irish national final performance with a budget of a few quid)
czechia always has some of the best glow-ups from their nf/pre-parties ngl! it's been a streak since 2022. in 2022 domi's live in the national final was fine but after the pre-parties we knew it wasn't 100% live, and during the live shows she improved a lot! idk how did they went from 4th in the semi to 22nd in the grand final tho (mostly due to running order). 2023 with vesna there was obvious glow-up and they even managed to get a top 10 finish for the country. and in 2024 aiko showed so MUCH improvement like i'm so proud of her, and the revamp was fuckin amazing. she deserved the qualification so baddd
Even though my opinion, Ireland this year had the biggest glow-up. While it’s my favorite, it made the country qualify after a couple of years, the performance is spellbounding, and I love the screaming parts as much as the stunning vocals

woww the difference in bambies performances almost doesnt feel like the same person or song, the amount of precise details that you can see went into how they sing the notes, the changes in their vocal tone, the facial expressions and movements, confidence and power and feeling is incredible!! that performance is truly a work of art and how it lifts the song to its absolute fullest potential and to bambies fullest potential is astounding
Bambie Thug is a perfect example of why I'm in favour of keeping backing vocals in the ESC. Sure it obscures the actual voice and the singers' vocal abilities but it enables artists to me more creative with their performances.

Oh absolutely. It's kind of insane RTÉ insist on having Eurosong in that tiny Late Late studio. Plus the sound mixing was really bad for the whole show so I honestly think Bambie played it safe in case the mic broke 😂

i wanted go tobann to win eurosong so bad and i have to admit i was mad doomsday blue did instead because... well, it was not my fav+wtf was that performance lol but i definitely enjoyed how far bambie+team have come because, while still not one of my fav songs, that stage show at eurovision clearly was one of the best this year, impeccable filming and choreo and lbr, the look and hair&makeup got such an upgrade.
Its crazy seeing Aikos performance in May compared to her performance in the Czech finals. Its actually crazy that she won that final with that performance. I kept thinking that Czechia would probably be last but she stepped up and it was miles better and honestly she should have qualified
I feel like Bambie saved themselves a lot for the final show, better not reveal all your tricks too early. Same for Ukraine, I guess they already had multiple possible harmonies and kept the most impactful for the show. Plus they have ample time to revise their final delivery after all the early performances.
How is Portugal 2021 not here? It was considered DOA before rehearsals and afterwards Qd with ease and ended up 12th thanks to the great stage glow up. Oh wait, I can guess a reason

My Sister's Crown live performance in ESC was really boring. It was one of my favourite songs in 2023 but I was hugely disappointed to see this boring stage show after that crazy music video. I wish they would have at least given the band similar clothes that were in the music video.
