my favorite ‘people being ok’ moment was in high school, there was a trans senior who was the resident ‘binder dealer.’ he sold enbies and trans guys binders when their parents weren’t supportive or if they weren’t out, and i really appreciated it

Ok this is me. I'm not trans but I live in a very conservative (and wealthy) area, so there's literally no stores that sell binders within several hours of us. I'm the only one of my friends that has a job and therefore a debit card, and my parents wouldn't know the difference between a sports bra and a binder.
most ppl only know of gc2b, but if they're asking for recommendations, I always recommend underwerks cause jamie said he used them in a vid once

This might seem random but I wanted to share a story I had with one of my friends! I was watching Jamie with a few of my friends, we were having a conversation, I can't remember what it was about, but I hear one of my friends call Jamie "She" I asked them, "You know Jamie is ftm, right?" They responded "I thought Jamie was mtf! He looks so masculine! I knew he was trans but not which one!"
Long story short Jamie passes so hard one of my friends thought he was mtf!
Lmao that's me with every new trans youtuber I find I'm like "ok but trans how?"

While I don't have a cat the character I played in my favorite DnD campaign did. The character was a Dhampir fighter and he had a black cat named Ebony. Ebony was the pet/emotional support cat of the party and he was our chaotic king.
Well until November I had a cat. Her name was Lilith, and she was an American shorthair which is shorthand for unknown mix. We do think there was some Burmese as other than coloration she looked like every other Burmese cat we saw. She was 18, would have been 19 in June. Her favorite color was purple, and darker shades of blue. As for occupation, I'll say model as she would strike poses around the house and was always a tiny little girl.

I think most cats' job description is a combination of professional cuddler and menace.

I DO have cats-2 tabbies, 1 brown, 1 orange. Our brown tabby is also named Apollo and the orange is Purrcy because, like your kitty, has a VERY loud purr. The names came from reading the Percy Jackson books which are meant for young people (I did read some with my kids and some on my own because they're just so good!) 🌈💜

I have 3 cats, all american shorthairs. The oldest one is named Pepper, he's a total sweetheart and he's scared of everything. We got him when he was about 14 weeks old and he's about 10 now. The second one is named Google, he's pretty stupid but he's also super soft, we've had him for like 7 or 8 years. The third is maybe 3 months old, his name is Pixie (we thought he was a girl when we first got him) and he's a menace but he's so cute its hard to care half the time. I have a large dog. A german shepherd. Much energy, much dog, but also the best friend I could ever ask for. Even if he barks at everything and everyone right now. 8 months. We're working on it.
My mom has 2 black Bombay cats and they are very cute. Mischief is tiny and elegant. She meows a lot and will purr if you look at her because she wants attention always. A very confident cat. Rogue is a clumsy cat. He broke both his ears chasing Mischief and running headfirst into things that she jumped over. He is BUILT. He also will attack you if you pet him for too long or for too short. You have to magically just know the exact amount of pets he needs. He is very shy and skittish.
My (bombay) cat is actually named after a demon. if not trained and exerciced properly from youth they are sometimes actual demons:/ Fun fact: that black fur + yellow eyes is the equivalent to what is seen in humans with melanin (dark skin, Brown eyes) and it gives Bombay cats (as potrayed as black panthers) more helthier and longer lifetime;) Good luck with those demons:)
My cat's name is Merlin, we got him when we started feeding him because our neighbors abandoned him when they moved (they're famous youtubers now, and i'm tempted to 'expose' them lol) and since he wasn't loved properly he is still bites sometimes but we love him anyways. I moved away to college but he still sleeps on my favorite blanket that I left for him every single day, I'm not sure what his favorite color is, I'll have to ask the next time I see him.

Being an adult is weird. I'll be 40 this year, and still feel like everyone else are well put together adults doind their thing, and I'm just bumbling about with no idea what I'm doing. And everyone I talk to says they feel the same, so, expect that to never go away 😃

My cat is currently sleeping in one of her baskets on top of the kitchen shelves with just her ears peaking up over the sides of the baskets 🧺 🥰 Her names Ella and she can put a smile on even the grumpiest of faces.
I have a rescue ginger cat called Jaws. So I don't know his age or breed. His occupation is scamp and his favourite colour is food.
The rspca named him Jaws because he had a broken Jaw when they picked him up. Me and him both suffer with mental illness and chronic pain.

If you want a good solid squee, try looking up "spring peeper" frogs. Then search for them singing. It's awesome, because they're about the size of a pencil eraser, but the almighty RACKET they make is amazing. I love how loud they are.

I have two lovely cats. Nikolai is a 9 year old black and white, Catherine is a 3 year old ginger lass. Nikolai's an absolute baby and loves all the attention (and food) he can get and purrs at the drop of a hat. He's a professional food-seeker. I've seen him try to eat uncooked gluten-free spiral pasta off the kitchen floor. Catherine is a professional menace. One of her many nicknames is the Bed Shark because she will attack your feet by reaching under the blankets. I love them both dearly.

Jamie. I have two cats, Dora & Gizmo, they came from a shelter 8½yrs ago, Dora - a tiny (3.3kg) torty & white longhair - is now 12yrs old. She's very fit, very cute and her hobbies include mischievousness, making her own decisions and hunting rodents (I live in the countyside so there are thousands trying to invade the sheds, workshops and even the cottage). Although Dora does not like being picked up at all she spends her winter nights snuggled up against me on the bed. In the summer she literally sleeps on a flower bed by the front door inbetween jumping around the roofs of my collection of sheds and workshops about 30ft across the driveway, my van that is parked in front of the main workshop is included in her circuit as a way to get to ground by jumping on to the roof with a big thud and sliding down the windscreen and the bonnet then jumping the final part over the bumper. She took a long time to settle when she first came, hiding behind a sofa that's in the bedroom, but I gave her room service and patience and then she suddenly appeared after 6 months and she was a wonderful cat, I love her dearly, she is still quite feisty but also the same cat that gently paws my face in the morning. She is curious and I'm told by neighbours that although she may come to them to say hello and watch them do stuff, she won't let anybody else touch her. I'm allowed to hug her and give her kisses if say she is on the pile of slabs that's about 5ft high by the shed; she likes the high ground. The livingroom window sill is high and she likes to have meetups there during the day in the winter when she stays in, she has a wide vocabulary, lots of lovely shmol cat noises!
Gizmo is now 17 and will hopefully will be 18 in March. He's an enormous shorthaired black cat, a panthera domestica, a wonderful moggie, (they both are really), he is over twice the weight of Dora, presently a little over 8kg. He was 9,5 when he first came, but exercise from playing on my lawns soon shed some weight, the vet says he is about right now for a big cat. He is getting on in years and his legs are not what they were so I really don't want him to be carrying extra kilos. He has always been a very relaxed cat, when he first arrived he just jumped on an armchair and put his slippers by the fire! He spends the winter next to me on the sofa, he's curled up with me now with a paw stretched out to reach my leg, he likes contact and often puts his paw on my hand, however he does not like it if I try to reverse that and put my hand on his paw!
They both go out a couple of times a day, they like to drink rain water from a watering can that gets filled from the water butt by the door. The last couple of years I have resurected the enormous cat litter tray in the winter to make it easier for Gizmo. During the summer both cats like to be out in the gardens, they never wander, they don't even go to where the garden borders with the fields unless they're with me, this keeps them safe, wandering cats don't do well in open countryside, there are many hazards, although the narrow roads do not have much traffic that also means cats are less aware of cars and do not have any road sense compared to urban cats. Large farm vehicles give little space to dodge them and they're not so slow nowadays.
I've had a multitude of health issues in recent years, and at times have been quite unwell, Gizmo has been with me all the time with his head against my leg. Both cats make me feel a lot better and just a bit useful.
Cats are fantastic creatures, they came and domesticated themselves more than once, we should leave them to decide how they connect with us in the future. They may change but we should not try to engineer that.

I have two cats, Susie (10, a torbie) and Marie, her daughter (8, black). They are both rescues from a local cat rescue organisation, and are originally from a farm somewhere. Not sure about their favourite colours, but they love watching my snakes in their enclosure...
My cat is named Opal. She's a domestic short hair mix (a rescue) with a brown tabby coat. She's almost 5 years old. Her profession is fly killer and rogue and her favorite color is pink because her favorite toy is a pink flamingo.

We lost our 2 cats last year, they were sister. They were old and passed withing a month of each other. We were very sad. Then we rescued Marli and now she is a princess

My second is q-tip/wolfy, he's a 4 month old short-haired grey tabby and his occupation is stealing food (he just learned how to get on the kitchen table)
I have 4 cats in my house. They are all siblings and just over 3 years old. 2 are black voids (Luci & Sombra), one is a fat tuxedo (Minou-AKA-Bat-Kitty), and one is a big long haired silver tabby with a kinked tail (Ferb).

I had 3 cats - all at the same time and all adopted/rescues.
Unfortunately, just before the Vid hit, i had to give them up. All 3. I had had 2 of them 8 years. All 3 went to marvellous forever homes.
There was my very first cat, Soots (already named), a short hair domestic who was pure black. She thought she was a dog and her and my 2 rescue dogs were besties.
Then there was my foster fail, Cheeky, a grey tabby short haired who was quite a plump puddin whos job was to laze in the sun by the window.
Lastly came the youngest, Spike. A tuxedo black and white short haired.
He also had 1 eye. As when i had him as a small kitten, Cheeky, poked his eye out when she snuck into the bedroom (I was in hospital and house sitter didn't have door closed properly), and I hadn't introduced him to the other 2 yet, so she got a surprise and lashed out.
So he was sent straight to the vet and his lil eye ball removed.
He was always a playful happy lil fellow who loved to kill rats and leave them under the BBQ. But he didn't kill any native wildlife. Only pests. Even with 2 bells on his collar.
All 3 slept with my 2 dogs who were also rescues. My 30kg Rottie x Kelpie named Saxon (now gone to doggie heaven) and my sole remaining houeelhold dude, my puppy farm save black Spoodle, called Vadar. Who is laying on the couch next to me now and is 13 and a half years old and a bit deaf now due to age.
Going from 5 pets in a small 2 bed unit (with large yard), to 1 in a short space was very hard. But i know they're all happy where they are now. ❤❤

We always called them candied yams or candied sweet potatoes but I’ve also heard it called sweet potatoes casserole! It is delicious but you can only have a little bit before it becomes too much. Its made with sweet potatoes baked in butter and brown sugar with melted marshmallows added on top and browned

Speaking of cold toe beans. When I was little we had a shih tzu puppy. And every time we took her out to potty, and put her in the snow she would scream. And wouldn't go potty. So we had to get her winter boots for dogs. Was the first time I've ever heard about putting shoes on a dog.
Also. I call my daughter a kitten because when she was a baby she would push stuff off the table just to watch them fall. Just like a cat.
Great video! Two of my favorite books/book series will forever and always be “The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe” from C.S. Lewis’s Chronicles of Narnia, and the “I SPY” series of books from Jean Marzollo and Walter Wick published by Scholastic Inc. and I’m in my late 30’s of adulthood! Also “Owl Moon” and “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” are my second place runners up for favorite books and I’m not ashamed in the least nor do I care about what others think about that, life’s too short!

for the chocolate milk one, I can heavy relate. I've been drinking chocolate milk pretty much my whole life and I can't go a week without chocolate milk and I don't plan to stop drinking chocolate milk anytime soon. Strawberry milk and banana milk are also a few of my staples.

i feel like this year is going to be my year. i am getting top surgery finally, after years longing to get to this point. and i have sent my transphobic mother a letter telling her she can either respect me or will not be in my life anymore. i was a bit scared ngl but it feels like a big weight dropped off my shoulders to finally have done that. and if i'm lucky i can officially change my name and gender marker this year too. it really does gets better 💛

Lol, please do read the little kids picture books. In 2022 I had a conversation with an Uber driver about not finishing reading a book in several years. He said make it happen find a book that won't take you long to finish and read that. I grabbed 1 of my favorite books from childhood and finished it in 10 minutes. I read A book that year and felt great about myself. Never be afraid to think small for a big win.
I don‘t have a cat. But my oldest sister has two cats. Well, technically the cats belonged to her roommate at first. But the cats really took a liking to my sister so now they are considered as her cats.
Another sister of mine has also two cats. They are really cute and very funny.

5:16 we call it “sweet potato fluff” but I think it’s often called “sweet potato casserole”. In my opinion it can be amazing or horrendous depending on who made it
5:16 If your wondering what that sweet potato thing is, (Idk if its a thing anywhere else but-) in the States, it's called sweet potato cassarole. It's basically sweet potatos, brown sugar, butter, and a layer of marshmallows baked till soft and gooey. Also, my feelings about it are basically the same. Sometimes, it sounds AMAZING, Other times, it sounds like it'll ruin my dinner and/or my day.
My verdict? It's pretty good! Very sweet though.
The sweet potato with marshmallow thing... it is EITHER glorious OR horrifying, never in between. It must be tried at least once
I've had to set it aside for awhile now due to circumstances, but I'd still like to try to collect all of the Serendipity books. A variety of fun stories, lovely illustrations, and I'll just never get over how gently but clearly and wonderfully they handled a story about bodily autonomy and having the right to say "no" to anything that doesn't feel right, even if an adult tries to make you keep it secret. (It was a story about a young squirrel with a soft, beautiful tail, and I think it was a mole who talked them into giving him a bit of the fur over and over, distressing the poor squirrel.)

I have several cats! I have 2 that can get enter our house, both random stary cats that we adopted for different reasons (one was born next to our previous house and when she grow a little older and her mother abandoned her we were just moving houses so she joined us, and the other was born at the horse farm my sister is riding and working in, and his mother and siblings died so my sister brought him home), named Magic and Neil. We have another cat that can't enter our house (because she poops on the sofas), also a random stary cat that lived on our street so we started feeding her and I'm pretty sure we're the only ones feeding her so she's ours. Also our naihbors don't know how to raise cats so their cat come to eat and get pets from us.

I have a cat, her name is Nelly and she is a Snowshoe. She is estimated to be around 16-17 years old. I don't know her favorite color she hasn't told me yet. She is retired because she is an old lady but she still volunteers full time as my best friend in the whole world. She is also a reliable alarm clock, model, and fine seafood connoisseur.

Cat report:
2 cats. names: Lizzy and Bruno breeds: mixed something but both tabby ages: 16 and 13 and with me since early "kittenhood" occupations: Lizzy scares off humans and Bruno acts as alarm bell in the morning, so very important jobs and neither will ever be able to be replaced.
About that adult thing: I´ll be turning 50 this year, still waiting become a true adult so I wouldn´t hold my breath. I also do not own a wheelbarrow, so maybe that really has something to do with it after all.

I have a domestic medium hair cat (aka, a mutt). I call him Butters but his Christian name is Buttercup (from the shelter). He is a professional cord chewer and his favorite color is black cause that's the color of wax cords that he can actually chew.
You want to know about my cats... I share five of them with my parner. They are a bard (a young short haired calico with a heart in her fur.), a swashbuckler (long haired tortoiseshell), a thief (a short haired gray tabby with more spots than stripes) , a cleric (a gray short haired tabby/calico mix) and a fighter (an orange tabby with three kinks in his tail and much more then one braincell).
I have 3 cats. My old ladies are 10 and 11 year old gray domestic short-haired kitties. Momma and her daughter Precious.
They used to be my parents cats and would travel between our houses whenever they'd visit. A few years ago they started hiding when my parents packed to leave and wouldn't come back out until they left. They just didn't want to travel anymore and I maaaay have spoiled them a bit. Eventually my mom was like, okay they are your cats now.
Momma's job is being a professional cuddler, demander of belly rubs and stand in rumble motor with the loudest of purrs, as needed. She knows when you don't feel well and proceeds to camp out on you until you feel better.
Pwecious is my little jealous box, if anyone receives attention she appears to demand a reason for why the attention is not on her. She is a grump cat to all strangers but gives secret sweet cuddles with the softest purr and has a cute purr snore when she sleeps. If she has a job it's to be a warm sun spot tester and treat connoisseur.
My third cat, Frigga, is a rescue who is two years old. She's a black bombay tabby mix.
Her occupation is being a professional nuisance and clever orchestrater of mayhem. She is the bossy boss who has learned that just because Momma doesn't get bossy doesn't mean she won't put a young cat in her place when provoked. She is playful and vocal and a joy to watch dig into every box, bag or container that she might be able to fit her head into.
I have 6 cats! In order of age: James Bond (Tuxedo), Mars (orange American Shorthair), S'more (Calico), Liberty (Full name Liberty Mutual Car Insurance, also a calico), Lady Pawdington (Unknown breed), and Kyo Sohma (Unknown breed). The last 3 are S'more's babies :).

6) ima assume that her occupation is mob boss whenever were not home to see her (all three humans in this houshold are house bound it's like once a month that she isnt being seen)
We have several cats. Superman has showed up again. He's a huge gray/brown tabby. We think he either hunts ducks or steals dogfood a la Heathcliff when he's away. But he's quite afraid of the other cats.
