Nintendo when they realise they sued palworld for like 100k when they could've made 100mill by working WITH pocketpair on a pokemon/palworld hybrid game.
I wish Nintendo would drop this. Palworld is a better game plain and simple. Maybe Nintendo should make more Mature games for the adults that grew up with them. Funny thing about art... It's in the eye of the beholder.
The Problem is, 'Justice' and Authorities in Japan are corrupt AF. You probably have a better chance for fair trial in Russia (if you insulted Putin) than in Japan if you slighted a Yakuza backed company like Nintendo.
I've already boycotted the whole of Nintendo. It's not like they've been making games I've been interested in other than zelda. And TotK was a boring slog of a remake with gmod style building mechanics that don't contribute to the overall game.
honestly its really stupid that they have a lawsuit up in the first place because in the end they're lazy asses haven't made a good game since probably the end of the 3ds Pokémon games, most switch games were ass after that in my opinion except for a few, but the last three were lowkey ass, and they need to suck up the fact that not only is pal world a competitor it's also a lot better than what they are cranking out... put on your big boy pants and stop being pathetic, y'all look like losers. (I'm sorry if this was long but I just severely hate this lawsuit because I don't want to have to pay 3-400 dollars just to play an ass game, and i just love pal world itself because I doubt that Nintendo could do better strictly for gun violence and that 90% of the reason i love the game)
Everyone should just realize "enough is enough" should be about IP law in general. We'd have a more free and fair society without it. Patronage is a good model, it works everywhere. Anything else just supports the big corporations. And they could operate with patronage too. It's not like IP was always worldwide like it is today. Things were still made. The industrial era happened during that time.
If Nintendo would make a good Pokémon game again then I'd understand the people supporting them a little but as it stands, I really feel like Nintendo/Pokémon Company or whatever would rather kill the competition instead of improving to beat it which gives me very little hope for the upcoming title
To simply put it, patents in video games are killing innovation and making better more versatile games. Who wants to live in a world where some big company can say we own that. And now you're stuck with whatever c*** they pump out.
What i find funny about the lawsuit is that suddenly everyone is like in pitchfork and torch mode when lawsuits like this between game companies has been happening throughout the lifetime of gaming.
Oh yeah, I agree. It's absolutely ridiculous. And there are other games out there that utilize similar mechanics. I'm just annoyed by the company, because instead of seeing this as a challenge to make a better game on Nintendo's side, they're choosing to be a bunch of pansies and say, oh, we own this boo hoo.
Definitely hope Nintendo loses this whole thing. Them winning would set a really bad precident that AAA people and legecy big dogs like Square or Capcom could just crack thier legal tyrant fists at anyone or anything they consider " lol nah, too much like like my thing. "
@@DICEBOY22 Well it doesn't really set a precedent because this kind of thing has been a thing throughout gaming history. This type of lawsuit isn't the first of its kind and more than likely won't be the last. You can find that other game companies have done their own patent lawsuits in the past so this really isn't some new thing thats gonna change the landscape since it's pretty much has been a precedent from the start. Could say that sega was one of the first to set this precedent with their lawsuit against Simpsons road rage for the navigation arrow patient they claim was taken from crazy taxi. So while this kind of lawsuit sucks it's always been a thing that does occur from time to time.
Oh yeah me and my friends are getting angry and you got these pokemon stans who think its all good and this lawsuit is only going to cause a huge law fair storm. Because its a slippery slope. So like can doom sue everyone for first person shooters? Can Dragon Quest sue nintendo for stealing their designs? People are sick of you Nintendo your games suck period. Its the same game every year now.
Your points are great but your argument is awful.... Patenting something in a game is absolutely not the same as an IRL action. You can't patent riding positions or anything like that IRL but you absolutely can in a game. Also law is different around the world so that argument is just straight up invalid. As far as I know where I'm from (UK) if a squatter is in a property for 6 months without being asked to leave and can prove it they then legally have rights to be there and are sort of forced into tenancy.
technically the patent nintendo has maybe illegal due to a pokemon go GTA mod which removes the proprietary part of the system which means it is in violation of patent laws irc
That's the thing about art, and the definition of Beauty. It's in the eye of the Beholder. Aka, it changes from person to person. Art, and by extention Beauty, is subjective. I mean can you seriously knock this guy for his idea of art while there are others who decide Art for them is jumping on a trampoline, and painting a line across a blank canvas in a random way without thought or reason, and still let them call it Art? And yes, that hyper specific example is a real thing that happened, and was showcased in a well known Art Show. Among a tower of beach buckets filled with sand that were knocked over as part of the showcase, among other crazy nonsense. All under the umbrella of Expressionism, "Art".
You have mods, use them.
@@Bullminator Nintendo: Oh you used Mods to use mounts and threw the pal sphere we own that and will remove your* Video from existence.

I advocate boycotting Nintendo
I just saw ads for a game that was a blatant Pokemon rip off, how Nintendo can only pursue one company and not others is ridiculous.
I want to be a fan of both Palworld and Pokemon. But Nintendo is making it really hard.
Good job. Thank you for speaking your mind.
Pocketpair is getting help from Sony and Nintendo is small compared to Sony
Boycott the next pokemon games if they dont measure up and the person that approved the patents needs to be held responsible too

I hope Pokemon and Nintendo realize the more they push this, the more of their own fan base they lose. At this point, it's just pathetic.
