nice flight. had my 700 dfc maiden flight last weekend. hadn't had a chance to fly it myself yet because it started to rain later on. when i shot the video it was already drizzling. a mate made the first flight with it to check everything. needed some tuning on the tail because it was not trimmed correctly. hoping for some better weather soon so i can fly it myself.
+33gate1 I will. need to get over the shakey leg thing first i think. had that with the 600 to the first few flights. but i saw you use a 2200mah 2s as rx pack. how many flight do you get out of that? I use a 3s now as a rx pack but it is a tight fit. I'm looking for a 2s now but don't know what to buy that will last for 3 6 minutes flights. will a 2200 be enough or should i go bigger like 3000 mah.
I use to have 4 zippy 6s 5000mAh batteries, so i could do 2 X 5 min flights. After two flights my receiver battery would still have about 60% left. I check now for you, after this flight my receiver battery still has 82% left. So i would be able to do 3 flights with one 2200mAh Overlander 30c battery.
I`m getting nervous when I see you flying that close with a 700 :) I always fly and keep distance assuming that some mechanics could fail and I advice you to do the same.
Yes a mechanical failure could send it straight into my face. I have been asked many times to take more care but it seems when i am at the field i forget about it. Only when people point it out and i look at the video a second time i see its a bit close.
Here is a good example of why i fly close to me, this guys is the guy i would look at before i could even do nose in hover. I think thats why i except the danger that comes with it. ua-cam.com/video/b0-RSductRM/v-deo.html
Hands down the most dangerous RC helicopter stunt is the funnel. Any ways, you are a good rc pilot your self, i looked at your messing arround in idle 2 video today. I will practice and then practice some more :)
el xero Yes, i just lost interest in flying. I really need to start again. I still have my 550L and 500L, and both have not been crashed so all i need to do is charge them batteries and get my ass to the field.

+33gate1 thanks for the advice. I ordered a 2200 2s
the 700 is a beast;) I got the 800 trekker and love the power and sound;)
Fabian Bruns Them bigger helicopters do sound nice.
Dude congrats on getting her back out, I love the size of the 700!
Thanks, the 700 is a Monster :)
Nice flying buddy!
Thanks
great flight and I am glad it worked out.
Thanks, the last thing i would want to do is crash this helicopter.
That looks pretty fun! I hope I get to fly a 700 someday.
Yes the 700 is fun. They are harder to fly in my opinion than a 500 or 550. Hope you get to fly one soon :)
Super cool! KEEP IT!
I still have it :)
a Beast!
Kelvin García Yip, monster.
Great flight. I had to LOL from all the dust on it.
Gave it a good clean today, no dust on it any more.
Have you flown it since this last video? Looks fun!

Oh well, it`s your call I guess. I remember few flights of Allan Szabo jr, he does some crazy close funnels...

Have you stopped flying?
