Thoughts on poison shot? The only downside to Explosive shot is hit consistency is hard with it. I also see good success with the root off of Rush then combining into Crosscut for huge damage. Calamity doesn’t flow as well with the bow but it is a good counter…honestly all the abilities in Greatsword are pretty viable.

I was told both sides to this, I think the main benefit is you can pull off a dodge "slightly" sooner. For my muscle memory going back to no nimble feels off to me. Also, thank you for the kinds words. Means alot
You have so much more stam to work with. You will be exhausted 50% less if you use it. A perfectly BIS build would require it. All I can say is try it and you wont go back.

I would say that after Arboreal Attune, Keenly jagged is absolutely essential on a bow for maximising dps
Jagged is nice to proc mark, but that is already being taken care of with our gems. Still very nice for alot of builds.
why arboreal? why not any other element

I think it's very annoying, but dex is still very viable.

For the earring would it be better to run refreshing toast and healthy toast and I hear noble does work as intended so it’s basically a useless perk
I was told noble was fixed for season 1 but I could be wrong, I always run it.

Never liked it myself but I know it can dish out soms really good dps
@@ItzTermx you are wasting 2 points under pen shot, use those for the accuracy and fortify when aiming
@@ThePaulHare I would argue maybe fortify and hawkeye, but not specing into pen shot makes us lose 20% free damage

Yes! For pve gear just use anything with "bane"

so GS is good in pve but would you take the bow in pve? or something else and switch to bow when you pvp?
I would always take bow in pve, rapid shot cycle DPS is crazy good.

I tried it a few times yes, My issue was I found myself being WAY too far away for the greatsword to even matter.

No the same weapon perks do not stack, the perk is just about 40% better if it's on the weapon vs the armor itself.
Any good dropped bows or other items from dungeons/world elites that would fit this build?
Lazarus bow is a great starting point, and praticed blows os a nice GS (I made a video on it)
the one dropped in genesis is pretty good too, it gives chain nature+jagged (and keen once you upgrade it to 600)
Do you find not running any freedom perk on any gear to be an issue?
Sometimes, but once you know how people play and what animations look like, hammers and fairly easy to predict, same with spear CC ect.
Should u use light armor with bow + greatsword in pvp? What about pve? Light armor there too?
Maybe medium if you find yourself dying too much, but light in pvp for sure

You could, I just love light too much

I would say yes, but you would be using bow less often with medium

As a starter bow yes it is good. But you REALLY need any form of attunement for more damage.
