I used to have that milwaukee driver, but it's weight kept it from being a daily driver for me. Instead, one of the 5 in 1 installation drivers offers the same or better power, slightly more compact size, lighter weight and the advantage of the swapabble heads. So for a dedicated screwdriver in that style, I prefer a more compact tool. The dewalt is amazing; it's my favorite driver. I love the light on it. The only thing keeping it from being perfect is the lack of a two speed gearbox. My other favorite driver is the dewalt 5 in 1 installation driver. Slightly bigger and heavier, but has all the advantages of an installation driver I mentioned. It has a good bit more power than the milwaukee screwdriver or installation driver (hence the reason I wish the dewalt screwdriver had a two speed gearbox).
Bosch makes a nice screwdriver too; it's the most compact and lightweight of all of them, but I couldn't deal with the pee-yellow light on mine.
Great comment! Thank you! The installation drivers are one of the rarely unowned tools. I had the dewalt and the bosch, long story short they just weren't for me. THANK YOU for filling us in on that information, I wouldn't have been able too.
Glad to see someone else appreciates this tool and thankfully got some footage of it in use etc because your definitely correct on this being wayyy underrated
Ha ha! I was just using this all day yesterday assembling a rubbermaid type shed for a client with something like 280+ screws. The perfect tool.
i daily carried the single speed version for 4 years as an IT tech and it's a severely underrated tool. it was perfect for taking things apart as well as rack and wall mounting just about any device.
Exactly! It's perfect for so many tasks.
Love the Milwaukee screwdriver😎⚒️😎⚒️😎
Are you sure about that? I thought you were done with team ketchup
As a whole, they're not at the top of my list, doesn't mean there aren't few gems that are to good to keep.
🏴☠️🏴☠️ Nice job 🛠️🛠️😎😎
16.4 lb/ft * 12 = 197 in. lbs ... a far cry from the 325 in. lbs claimed by Milwaukee, but i'm sure it will be a good replacement for my 15 yr old #2401
I really like the value in the DeWalt, along with it's shorter size and lighter weight, but all that plastic and no gearbox...mmmm, don't think so. Thanks for the review.
Yeah when they test torque they do something called Hard torque, testing that I do is soft torque. I can't explain it to well. Every manufacture does this.
Tommy took two times to get eerrr donnneee

Is this the replacement for the 2401?
No, this is the brushless FUEL model. It's a step up over the 2401, which is brushless, but less powerful. Significantly more power than the 2401. The 2401 also is a single speed, very low torque and rpm applications, the most basic of duties, drive short screws, assemble rta furniture, hang shelves...etc. the 2402 is a two speed mechanical gear box alloying low rpm high torque, and high rpm low torque applications.
It's a tough call. I like them both! @@ProToolsApproved
Comes down to what you'd be using them for, you can't go wrong with the Fuel, plenty of power if you ever need it.
