@PokemonTCG88 You probably mixed up Patricia with another dancer. She was born in Cannada and raised in US. She only competed in Beijing last year at the 3rd Beijing International Ballet Invitational last year where she won the Silver.

@mayaplezikaya it is from Giselle, but it is used only by some companies, the others will replace it with some other music for the other version of Giselle Peasant Pas Variation.
@sailorsometimes SOMetimes starting young can cause one to long for a life outside of ballet. this has happened to countless very talentred girls who end up pragnant or on drugs or dead etc. everything happens for a reason and ballet companies dont hire girls younger then 16 usually every once in a blue moon you get a girl who becomes a principle at say 18 or 19 like paloma herrera or cojocarro . paty might be next.
@ChristineMotta I'm wondering the same thing... I think it's not actually part of the peasant pas. This variation isn't even in the two versions of Giselle I have on DVD, or on the full score I bought. So I don't know!

Ana she means for ballet comps. Usually only one or two variations from a ballet are over used in competitions. And this one is less common.

I found the track on Apple Music! It starts at 8:30 on the track "Giselle: Act One. The Village Fete" on the Giselle album by the Mariinsky orchestra.
