Thats true. Theres so much to unpack here. I wish he used a different title. becoz the one he used doesnt cover even 2% of what they are talking about. The contry is burning and officials are adding petrol 😢
Finally, someone outlines public procurement. If coupled with the RDP, locals should be given preference or address some socio-economic challenges. You can't build in someone's backyard and leave the community hungry.
I've always asked myself where is our intelligence in South Africa and I'm glad I got exposed to Mr Calvin Rafadi. So accurate and very much simplify a complex situation because he is a man of solutions and solving problems. I've been rewinding
I'm grateful for this interview. Mr Calvin Rafadi is wisdom and intelligence packed on two legs. Mr Mashabela when you bring him back could you kindly give him an opportunity to fully introduce himself to us. Who is he, his journey through the area of crime and policing. He is such a gem 🙏🙏
A brilliant point and suggestion i also would like to know more about him and his journey of policing. I have learnt a lot from him as a man in blue trainer
Mr Mashabela what a great interview with Mr Rafadi it was so informative and we've learned a lot. My pleading is can you please bring him back again for second interview please sir!!!
I think there should be workshops just to teach us communities to not allow being used by people for their own gains. Same like in politics we are being used for people's own gains 😢😢
Newsroom Afrika always gave Mr. Rafadi small time (8, 10 minutes max) because they want to ask their pre-written useless questions. Thank you, King David.
And constantly interrupting him to push their narrative and when he is given an opportunity to respond the time is up. That is why I respect King David and Sizwe mpofu's podcast
If possible can you please try to get Calvin's view on our legal system, which I fault for the country's high crime rate. Some of the issues I have with our legal system is that a judge who has never guarded a prisoner gets the job of determining how long will take to 'rehabilitate' a prisoner, our justice system assumes that everyone can be rehabilitated, prisoners pay dololo for services that receive whilst incarcerated
I highly agree with the Dash Cams and Body Cams on Police. This things are not expensive, they only expensive for the government. The supply chain of the Saps must buy them direct not through tender
Bra Dave... Thank you so much for this informative interview. Next time when Mr. Rafadi comes can he also touch a bit on the fake alcohol that is spread in our communities🙏🏾
This guy remind me of my late uncle. He knows his story and is very streetwise. If you are crooked you better come correct or straighten yourself. Actually he reminds me of my 2 late uncles , the other one used hunt criminals then wait for them when they come from clubbing, wait for them to sleep a while and knock at their room 😂that time he has docket which state all the different crimes they committed. . Thank you David for this episode 👌🏿🔥❤️ smart guy indeed
Jehova a boloke Afrika banna ! 🙏🏿, it’s a war outside. For every youth to find a reason within themselves to do good for South Africa. The struggle is not over yet 🙏🏿.
When talking of rotten potatoes im the service, I remember a case where a lady had a house breakin in her house and went to report the incident to the local police, the police came to interview the lady and check a few things in the house. As a norm, when reporting cases we open up to the police telling them there is no one in the house during the day and I stay alone blah blah. The police collected that info only to come back later to steal soem appliances in the house and they were found in the boot of a private car of one of the police who went to write a statement. That is saps members for u, very rotten and it is so difficult to trust them...
Damn this free coffee thing I thought the Petrol Station owner was doing charity work...this SASOL garage in Belhar opposite UWC near the varsity station always had cops coming for free coffee and sandwiches at night, that's back in 2004 doing my 1st year
King David great interview this one, very knowledgeable guest. Please, King David invite Joe “Ferrari” Sibanyoni to your show. Did you see the gold casket they bought for Joe Mkhonza? Please secure that man, I heard him speak at the funeral, I admired his intellect. Street smart with an MBA from Massachusetts University US.
John Wick is or was a guy by the name of James from Mamelodi East Ext 5. He died at a CIT where its believed he was set up by his people and police shot him along with his bodyguard in a BMW while trying to escape. He was not a saint, he killed for Turf. And just days ago one of his croonies by the name of Small form Mamelodi East was also shot dead on his head. Its rough in Mamelodi
Why is this man not holding a Minister of Police position to instil discipline to the criminals in blue uniform but here in SA if one is patriotic and willing to put in the work they automatically become enemies of the ANC
Government officials do a needs assessment in various communities. Each community will indicate the service that they require, some will ask for a clinic, sports field, community centre etc. During these interactions communities will express their expectations from the anticipated projects. Amongst which are job creation and skills development so that community members are able to look after the infrastructure after completion. These community needs are therefore expected to be incorporated into the tender documents.
E.M. Johannesburg Gauteng Province. We need a security clearance for all the SA Politicians as well not only the police. All politicians have businesses like our current President. All the politicians have got criminal charges and cases must also have security clearances. 🤔🙄
Bra Dave yazi I don't understand why such a intelligent person is outside parliament 😢so sad coz our leaders cannot discuss anything ever, instead what they know is creating cometee that will explain how are they viewing a certain problem and they are working on getting a solution ish it hurts
S.A. is a Godless country though, he said they prayed hard over their situation above anything, do you think that'll happen here when they want nothing to do with God?
Damn, in my hood freedom park alot of people died because of construction tenders, i actually often call the flats in devland the blood apartments because of the amount of bloodshed
I reported house breakings twice and even went to the pilice station and on both cases i was told there were no vans since they were out...i waited so long(with a house outline next to veld)i eventually had to close up first by repairing the door and 2nd time closing it off with a brick wall...tell me how ill have confidence in the police?
25:39 this is the unfortunate reality of the entitlement that exists. Tv data just pure extortion, and people wonder why investment is drying up in South Africa
These are the unsung heroes who stand up against evil and represent the voiceless. We need more courageous people to get the conversations going.
The sad part is that this is the greatest interview for the year across all podcasts in South Africa but will never trend 💔

The government must recover money from corruption and fund SAPS. No private sector is going to donate to government who lack accountability.
What a nice interview. Feel like it was too short

Loved this one. I could go on and on especially the topics towards the end of the show.
What an episode, hands down.
True some were eating polony and cheese in UK and other countries abroad then claim they were in exile 😀😀
