- Our friend David brought over his very rare right hand drive 1993 Toyota Supra for us to shoot and it was a good one. David owns a company called JDM of California which sources parts for anything JDM...engines, trans, parts...you name it they've got it or can get it.
It was an honor to shoot David's Supra and even better...to drive it!!!

The US production numbers for supras were close, from 93-98 almost half of the Turbo Supras were 6 speed and a little more than half were auto. The NA Supras had both 5 speed and auto transmissions.
The only variation that wasn't offered in the US was the NA with the 6 speed getrag.

The supra is my dads favorite car, to me i would like to drift in this japanese legend.
They are legendary and timeless
Man what is it about the MK4 and the R34 that makes me feel all fuzzy inside. Those things are like time machines, they take me back to when I was playing GranTurismo. They really do get better with age.
Non turbo 5 speed wrapped... I don't even dare to say what I think about that combo.
Asmir Sut the wrap was to see if he liked the color. It’ll get paint and boost next. Needs both but otherwise this is a cool Supra
Yellow was actually offered as a factory color for the A80 but they are extremely rare.
Car is going to be very sorted when he's done with it.
Getting that original transmission to put in the build is a great touch.

Hey Shawn if you wanna check out more JDM come up to Vancouver since all the JDM cars are legal here because in Canada we only have to wait 15 years for it to be legal

I’m stationed in Japan for the Marine Corps . I’m actually looking to buy a Supra here in the near future and shipping it home to California . My only concern is that California is super strict on emission requirements. Any idea of where or how I would go about making a Supra street legal?

This guy "the owner" of the Supra owns this car and knows very little about the car. I don't own a Supra "YET" and i know MORE about it than he does, actually a LOT more than he does down to the bore and stroke and he probably does not even know what an interference engine is ...

You get chosen to show your car on youtube or tv for thag matter and when your questioned about certain things on the car, you expect a solid answer and hoping its the right answer. Then you have owners like this guy that know very little about the car and he is throwing out guess answers ...
Meanwhile you have people like me that can only dream of owning a car like this and study it and know it very well...
Yes we can all all learn something but thats not the point of the comment, if you are going to be put in front of the camera, at least study the basics of the car and its history so you look good in front of the camera ...
