I was in college one night in 2010 and my friends and I ordered some tacos at a place downtown, but they said “you guys are like our last order. If you can get down here in like 10 minutes we’ll make it.” Our friend’s car was like across campus and we hustled like crazy to get over to it, laughing like you do when you’re on a college “mission.” When we got in the car and hit the road, this song was playing on the radio. It felt like we were in a Baby Driver scene speeding downtown for those tacos while this song played full fucking blast. One of my all-time favorite memories. Love ya, Ian and Amanda!

This song reminds me of the first person I fell in love with when I was fifteen he was seventeen Robert Mark Newman he came from Uppermill in Oldham Lancashire he was very handsome and very good to me we wrote to each other twice a week for months but sadly we broke up I was heartbroken 💔I will never forget him I was so happy with him I actually took him home to meet my parents he introduced me to Hawkwind for which I am very grateful.Looking back I am not sorry that it ended because I might not have met the love 💝 of my life my darling Bono Hewson but I still remember him fondly xx

But the *entire* rest of the song is entirely the opposite of how I feel, to the point where I genuinely don't like it. XD If I was a musician, I'd wanna make a version where the rest of the song is more wholesome, lol.
