@RexNathanChan haha Cheers mate. Thanks for watching The generator is great value for money and does the job. It's very loud compared to the heap expensive ones haha but you get that. It never let me down and started easy. Bit of a work horse. Cheers 🍻
We have the 2.2kv kings genset and it run our caravan with ibis 4 aircon and microwave no worries. Super quite to couldn't believe under full load I could have a normal conversation standing next it
Mate what is wrong with you.You NEED to spend the 30K to buy the lithium battery system.Haters going to come after you. Good to see common sense people get stuff they can afford and make a go of it. Let us know the good and bad when it happens. Keep up the good work. You guys are totally nuts!
I use one for home back up power. They are so cheap to buy when on special. It is a good no thrills simple inverter generator I found. Only complaint they seem to have in the reviews (when there is one) is the noise. I wonder how much quieter some of these higher priced enclosed casing generators are, such as the Gentrax 3.5kw (4.2 kw peak) enclosed generator which they claim is quiet.
@davidclarke6658 yeah I actually just changed over to the kings 2.2kw smaller one as it's heapsssss quiter haha My mate had a little honda 2.2kw and it's so quiet so I got the kings 2.2 and very happy with how quite it is 😀 Bit still never faulted the 3000w one. It works great but yeah it's loud haha
Good job mate. They are a great little genny, I have both, the 2.2kw & a 3.3kw, there is virtually no difference in sound volume between the two, while all genny’s make noise, these are not too bad, but yeah, be respectful of other campers regardless. They are so cheap for this use, its a no-brainer . Cheers
Cheers mate :) yeah it's been super helpful when we really needed extra power but sucks how noisey it is haha I used the crap out of it up at the Pentecost River. It was so hot. Ran AC for ages on it. Sorry other campers haha
See in the comments you got the smaller 2.2? Do you happen to have both still, do you have the actual sizes of them as seem to get different sizes from kings
@@wheelsbytheocean how do you find the difference between the 2? Does the smaller one run everything fine? How long does each run? And is the smaller one much quieter?
@xFuLLeRz the smaller one is heaps quiter! Like super quiter I definitely recommend thr 2.2 We run caravan ac of it no problems Using dometic Ibis 4 AC unit. Has slow start up so really good for inverters and generators
What I know about generators you could write on a cigarette paper, but we were at a camp site in Tasmania and a old couple that was about a hundred meters away ran one of a night and it was the must annoying thing you could ever imagine. My only tip would be very mindful of when and were 🙏🤞. The same power in a Yamaha would cost you more than eight times the price.
Yes thats my biggest concern, really don't want to annoy anyone. See how we go :) Yes it was a really great price still with 2 years warranty. Pretty happy with it. The noise would certainly echo around for sure. Cheers mate
Hey mate. Yeah I had ac running for around 5 hours one day and it ran out of fuel. Thought that was pretty good cause it was running at Max power. Haha 🍻
@@wheelsbytheocean If air con required during the night and there's no one else around then a genset can be useful whilst in a caravan otherwise you'll get very little use out of one in my opinion. Alternative is to use it during the day to recharge batteries assuming battery bank has enough capacity to run aircon overnight. Thanks for sharing
Thats good to hear. The 2.2kva was actually $150 more then the 3.3kva as the 3.3 was on a great special! I really wanted the 3.3 because of the 12L fuel tank and the higher capabilities when needed. Definitely liked the size of the 2.2 though. Cheers :)
Still going strong! Only used about 5 times tbh haha. But good when I need it for sure!
How much did it cost you back then?
@@RexNathanChan I think it was on special for like $400 or something
They put them on special sometimes :) so keep your eye out
Cheers
fucking quick reply :D Safe travels

@xFuLLeRz hey mate
Nah I don't have the big one any more. The big one is twice the size ish
Hope that helps a little
I can measure the 2.2 tomorrow maybe if you like

Hey mate great video. I’ve just bought the same one. Just wondering did it come with the oils or do I have to buy that separately? Cheers
Sorry for slow reply. I had to buy the oil for it 😀
And thanks for watching mate 🍻
I’m glad you told me. I’m heading away tomorrow and I would have been stuck in the bush with no oil otherwise😂

Hows it all going mate? Looking at getting one also to run aircon haha.
Still good as. Starts first pull. Just used it yesterday happy as
Got it on special for $370! Unreal for that price
Hey mate, howd you go with fuel economy? How long did the full tank last ya?

is it pure sinewav inverter?
Yes it is :)
