You can see the canvas size in the title bar: 13" x 19" @ 300dpi, or 3900 x 5700 px. Everyone probably has a different process, but in general I would recommend the shorter axis to be at least 3000 px. Then you can multiply that by the aspect ratio you want and you have your other axis, i.e. a 3:2 portrait would be 3000x4500.
