I have the Capitol Albums Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 on CD, so for the most part, that satisfies the mono/stereo mixes. Most Beatles fans would have wanted to see Capitol Albums Vol.3, with Yesterday...And Today, Hard Day's Night soundtrack, Hey Jude, and perhaps the U.S. version of Revolver on the store shelves. The 2014 U.S. albums box set on CD was to me a disaster, although, I did buy three CD"s from the box set individually to complete the U.S.albums collection.
He-he, and the second box could be called "The Beatles non-1964 U.S. Albums In Mono"... and if they like what they see, they could do a Stereo re-run of everything. OK, jokes aside, I am also not among those fond of the US versions of the Beatles albums. I'm a collector, but, fortunately, I'm not a die-hard completist, so not going to buy this set. However, I went for both "The Capitol Albums" CD sets, as well as for "The US Albums" 13CD box in the very recent past. Having watched the videos by a couple of well-known Beatles collectors/reviewers, I understood "The Capitol Albums" contain correct mono and stereo mixes of the US albums, which are different (in terms of edits, reverb, etc.) to the UK versions. Hence, I decided to have them in my collection. "The US Albums" box I bought due to its extended content (even though the mixes are not true US mixes). Both sets include Mono and Stereo versions of almost everything, so pretty enough for me to get entangled into them. But of course, the UK set will always be The Only Collection for me.
The Beatles music and image was such an easy sell that these albums couldn’t help but explode in sales in the U.S. I’m a second generation (70s) fan and those albums, weird mixes, echo, Duophonic and all, were loved so much that I guarantee you the sales will be huge-box and all❤️ It’s what we listened to from pre-school to high school. This is definitely not for everyone. This is a nostalgic and emotional purchase for Americans my age and older. We KNOW it’s a mess but it’s OUR mess 😂 I can wait for the next remixed album. Hi I ordered the box set of the Beatles 1964 Albums in Mono. At my record shop, the difference between buying the 6 albums separately and the complete bix with The Beatles Story is 60 Euro. So 60 Euro extra for The Beatles Story plus the carton box. I decided to get the box. Got them nicely packed all together. I do understand all your arguments, but I'm happy. I live in the Netherlands and I have nearly all Stereo American albums but just one or two Mono albums, so I am happy YEAH, YEAH, YEAH. Take care
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on that. I am quite excited about the reissue of the US 64 albums. I ordered the box at German amazon for 188 EUR which is quite a good price. The box is the 60th anniversary of all 1964 US albums, so it is fine what is included. Anything else, e.g. the non-Capitol tracks would felt wrong to me. And hopefully there is a second part. @@Konngeman what Calderstone/Apple should have done is go back to Anthologies and use the MAL technology all over that and put Now AndThen at the start of the third one and ditched the red and blue albums for later.

The only explanation I have for the price of the box set is that Apple knows people will sell these sets for $1,200 in 10 years and they're getting their cut up front. If the box ever drops to $250 I'll buy it, but for now I'm buying the albums separately.

SIE LIEB DICH (can be included on Something New ) 3.MISERY THERE'S A PLACE AND FROM ME TO YOU (can be included at at the End of the Early Beatles .What do you think?

I'm NOT dishing out $300 for this set. It's pointless. I own the originals. No point to buy this set for me. $300 will be buying gifts for my family. Rubber Soul box set is what I want! I'm not even buying the individual albums either.
The US albums are low-quality butchered abominations. Nobody in their right mind would buy them just to listen to the music because there are better alternatives available. Therefore this release is a nostalgia/collector novelty. Anyone who wants them to hear the differences is still missing out, because it was the stereo mixes that got the full Dexterisation reverb treatment. 'The Beatles Story' was a cash grab wank when it was first released, and still is now! Anyone who buys the box set is a mug.
The entire box set is nothing more but cash grab and I grew up with these records!! I didn't know any better until the release of CD's in 1987, it's real sad how Apple is taking complete advantage of fans, might as well sell these records with a gun and a mask.
