Hey, Hoping you are still in Melbourne. I assume you've probably got restaurants planned. However if you don't, I would really encourage you to hunt out a restaurant called The Waiters Restaurant. It's been there for decades. I'm pretty fussy with food and it was hands down one of the best value meals I've had in a while. I honestly couldn't fault it. If you do lunch aim for a 1pm sitting when you book. If you do a 12pm sitting you'll be rushed out in an hour. It really is some of the best Italian food I've had in decades.

The only issue with Melbourne China Town restaurants that unless your Asian or white or with someone Asian they’ll play you off like they don’t have any space for you in there restaurant. They’ll tell you that you need to book in advance other than the fact that the person at the door are trying to attract customers walking on the road.
