"At North, You feel everything and nothing, all at once." Such superb writing too. No less than a movie. This is such an amazing piece of filming that I keep coming back to it again every once in a while.
Excellent! Really like the simplistic range of kites boards and foils. And also when jesse throws a 4 frontroll confu pass in turquoise water with a race drone above him in full quality.
@@Pokyachi I sent a mail directely to North. Here is their answer: "It was actually an original song we got composed specifically for this edit. It is by a composer from New Zealand called Jordan Iusitini."
Kind of hard to jump on board when this whole video had nothing to do with an explanation of the product, the line and more importantly the price. The market is so saturated and paying up for a brand is no longer an option for most when there is so much competition and better price points fro quality gear out there. I admit I was a North addict for awhile , it finally occurred to me that I was paying up for a brand and I couldn't justify that the quality was any better than cheaper competition in the current market. I am not upgrading to Duotone either. I am riding out the life of my existing North kites and not upgrading with Duotones. The price is not justifiable considering whats currently competing on the market. I'm not sure North will make it either unless they consider the saturated market, the amount of quality available and most importantly their price point. In the meantime I am not waiting for you to come to market to make up my mind as I am currently upgrading kits. You might want to educate your market about costs and quality etc, in a debut brand as to why folks should be impressed. An awesome video, even though your "marketing team" and or "Social Media, Content Team" might think will win the consumer over, just doesn't work like that anymore. People are numb to Social Media, and Content marketing these days. That like your product is in a very saturated market and it will take a lot more than a cool video to win over the consumer now a days. The longer you wait to convince your market with facts vs cool videos, the more of the market you will loose.
I agree with you, although this video is impeccable. One thing it did is educate this consumer that North is still in the kiteboarding business (the Duotone spinoff was confusing enough). Brand name recovery strategy? From what I see they are no more expensive than other brands though - bars and kites and even harnesses have just gotten ridiculous. Blame the trade wars maybe? We all know where most of this stuff is manufactured...
@@shreddagorge Yep, I agree, Video is incredible. Pricing is out of control. Especially bars which wear out quickly and hardly make much changes from year to year. Mostly cosmetic changes. My main point is that the market is pretty saturated at this point. If you want to come out swinging then these companies need to start competing for market share with some good price points.

You guys hired the best film maker!
My thoughts exactly - who is that??
This is not an ad...it's cinema, it's art... Well done!👍
What a beautiful video!!! So inspiring! The places are gorgeous too!
Best kitesurf content I've is seen so far!! It's a shame that there's not a lot of great content for such great sport.
Probably the most epic video i've ever seen
Just wow! The most amazing kitesurfing video ever!🔥❤️
This video is magical. Congratulations on the launch. Keep it up!

Beautiful and brilliant in equal measures!
Gave me goosebumps
Looks great!

@@alexandrefortin3306 Ah that's so helpful, thank you a lot! Have a good one :)
@@alexandrefortin3306 Although this man seems hard to find online haha
@@alexandrefortin3306 where I can find this tune and his other tracks?
Yes! The future of kiteboarding is here!
Looks nice
Song name???
I wish the video had captions showing the locations. That mountainous river delta is beautiful. I'm guessing Alaska.
I thought maybe Glenorchy NZ
Does anybody know the location at 2:34?
In the southern alps of New Zealand somewhere
I thought maybe Glenorchy NZ
pls keep prices low 🙏🏻☺️
Wishful thinking, but I'll wish along with you :)

For those who are confused: North is Duotone and Cabrihna is not quite North, therefore North is not North. Welcome to the new North.
Yep, gotta love those Cabrinha kites
Duotone is the real deal with the talent. The new “North” is new to the game.
Duotone? Nope, North?? Noope, Cabrinha??? NORTH KITEBOARDING!!!
Beautiful marketing.
Where’s this filmed??
Are they all 4-lines kites ?
!
