- Join us as we visit the nations thrill capital for our first visit to Thorpe Park of 2016. Home to a fantastic selection of Roller Coasters, we enjoy some of our favourite attractions at Thorpe Park along with checking out the changes across the park for the 2016 season. We also take a look at the construction for Derren Brown's Ghost Train, along with a first look inside the brand new shop, now open to park guests next to the attraction.

The first time I rode a thrill coaster was nemesis inferno in 2016. That day changed my life and I have been ever since!
I have to say that the ghost train looks really nice, It's interesting to see some mock old buildings once in a while, especially in theme parks where sometimes theming can get a bit too surreal.

I went on the 19th March and I was very scared to go on Saw but it turned out to be my favourite rollercoaster!!

Great to see Thorpe Park and the differences a few years ago
I remember going a couple weeks before this opened and my parents got to do the ghost train preview since we were shark cabin guests

Been waiting for Thorpe park blog this year finally. Going in 2 weeks time for 2nd visit can't wait to go on saw and stealth as were closed last year I went. I love watching Derren brown shows on TV so really excited about this ride opening.

I went on the swarm for the first time on august 15th 2012 on the back left hand side (first to go upside down) and fell in love with the coaster straight away! I cant wait to get back on the row i first went on tomorrow!!!!
Were the bars tight on the rides? I've had a bad experience with bars in the past so I always enquire before I go on the rides :)

Can't wait to go here in June for my first time. Pretty nervous though about getting on Stealth and Saw, not so great with steep drops and that intense feeling you get but i'll make sure I get on them!

Awsome video can't Belive I saw you at Drayton manor I was the kid who's dogem was broken and kept doing donut lol but seeing you made my day! Hope you had a fantastic day I did I got on 33 rides! And got stuck on storm force and bounty when they broke down also Ben ten broke down but OMG Apocalypse was awesome and malstorm but the most scary was the Ferris wheel lol

thanks you 2 I have been a massive fan of rollercoasters for years first going back to 2005 when I was 7-8 (Im 19 now how time flys) and rember going the second time with my dad in 2007 the year after corkie had been removed and got hooked on theme parks ever since then I found your channel and the first video I watched was the alton towers flume :) rip evil duck. its also my 21st time to alton towers next time I go 5th time to thorpe park next time and 6th time to drayton manor next time I go we get the tickets through the sun and cause my dads a train driver his manager save the tokens for us free trips to alton towers :)!

Great Vlog today Shawn, personally I have never been to Thorpe Park but it's making me want to go so badly! I'll guess I'll have to consider it got my bday next year but your right.. Can't beat the old nemi can ya'? One other thing before I go are you going to be working at the turnstiles at Alton Towers on the Friday the 8th as its my Birthday and I'd really appreciate a photo with you, if not its all good. I'll just attempt again later this year

Slammer is my favourite flat and yes you go upside down on it 6 times total 3 forwards and 3 backwards #headrush

Idk but I'm rly disapointed that they switched the back row. I loved the idea of a backwards roller coaster and even though I don't think that I went on the back row forwards, but I think that it was a really great idea, and they took it away.... That explains why it was closed on the annual pass preview day.

How bad would you say the queues are at thorpe park on the 24th and 25th (monday and tuesday) of October, so on the week on which fright night begins. Like before 6pm and in the morning?
I went went for fright nights last year and it was at the beginning, the ques for mazes where very long but the rides where basically Empty before 6:30
