we have 21 solar panels and used to have problems having enough power in the winter until we got rid of our 12 volt storage batteries and went to 6 volt batteries instead, they hold a charge longer they were a game changer for us,we have an 8000 watt inverter on sunny days they can run 110 welder all day long

SUGGESTION, ADD ANOTHER SUPPORT BRACKET WHERE THE CHIMNEY GOES OVER PORCH ROOF. THAT IS ALLOT OF CHIMNEY, THE WIND CAN CAUSE DAMAGE. I WOULD GET ANOTHER BRACKET JUST LIKE THE ONE ON FACIA BOARD. NICE STOVE. ALUMINUM PANEL BEHIND AND ABOVE STOVE IS A GREAT SAFETY FEATURE‼️‼️. Vinny 🇺🇸

make your battery fit on trailer what you need during winter months// pull behind the truck or tractor /use a charger split off your truck alternator ,and charge them when driving to town you should have 90AMP --ALTERNATOR / using gasoline in your drive on 1 or 2 hours can bring your batteries back up to good use in saving on gasoline to run generator

Get double wall pipe for inside from stove to chimney. Lifetime warranty way way safer in the event of a chimney fire. And you dont have to replace it all the time.

Water weighs a pint a pound, easy to remember but not really accurate. Also when driving your tractor around remember to keep the bucket close to the ground. Just a reminder from an old man in Washington state

As a suggestion install a Damper inside the chimney it will make your burning more efficient by not dampening the stove the fire will burn quickly and more wood will have to be used

Water is pretty heavy stuff. Good to remember 1 litre of water weighs 1Kg (and at 15 deg C, it does weigh 1kg exactly). At other temperatures, slightly different, due to expansion/contraction of volume. So, that 1000 litre container on the truck, would weigh 1000 Kg (2200 lb, or 0.98 tons) (perhaps slightly more due to temperature contraction of the water). That is a lot of weight to have on the back of the truck.

We lived with winter water only with a cittern when i was a child. We were allowed 2 inches of water in bathtub. No showers. And no running then tap for anything. Wash hands in cold as can’t run until hot water gets to tap. When we ran out in the winter it might be over a week until we could get a tanker out to full up the tank. Then we hauled buckets and jugs of water until we had refill. Family of 5. Mostly we could make the tank last all winter if we were careful.
