    Just wanted to update for anyone watching this video. The method works fine honestly it's the easiest process I've seen done if you buy aftermarket.
    Thanks for video bro you got my bike up and running again!

      Hey man I seen you got it working from when u first answered. And he hasn’t told anyone where the green wire is going. Did it become a dead wire and tucked away? Or is it spliced into a black wire?

    On your video with the cbr ignition fuse how did you get power from the fusebox

    So I’m not sure if your still responding to any of these but only thing I’m not understanding like everyone else is where that green wire directly to the aftermarket ignition is going after you cut it and run the diode. I know the button of it is connected to the red wire. But what about the rest of it

  • @FrostyD3viL

    Hey doing the same thing to my 04 600rr new aftermarket ignition but no diode. I'm going ro follow your setup but are you using more than one diode in this setup? I see two other wires taped up besides the green wire going to the zener diode then the zener going into the pick then to red. is the other side of the green wire leaving the ignition no longer used and just tucked away?

    • @christianflygare3782
      @christianflygare3782  2 роки тому +1

      It is only one diode, I didn't have any videos explaining it so the other wires where sacrificed trying to figure it out.

      @@christianflygare3782 Okay thanks for the info man I appreciate it. But what about the green wire leaving the ignition switch is that no longer used since the green going to the zener then pink to red is gaining power that way?

    Ok with aftermarket starter. The green & blk/w wires that plugs into nothing you just leave them as is????

  • @kquan96
    @kquan96 Рік тому

    I know it’s old but all you’re doing is putting 1 of those zener diode’s in between the green wire and red wire right? My aftermarket switch is the same as yours

    • @christianflygare3782

      No, the green is getting power out of the zenor diode, and the diode gets power from the red

    So I have mine set up just like yours got a new diode but the only difference is is that my diode isn’t on the same side as what yours is as in your diode set up right off the green mine is opposite end from the power (red) this shouldn’t effect how it works right? Because it’s got a new pump in it the fuses and relays are good and new ignition set up this way with 3.9v 1w diode and still no pump priming with key on can someone help please @ me so I’ll know when I get a reply

      Bypass the hiss ecu by tapping the diode into your rear brake light it will reduce the voltage back to 9

    My 2015 new ignition started right up. Sounds like older models need to chang out resister on bottom of ignition. Of old one to the new one. Said that when I bought new ignition. I hear fuel pump work twice then hit the button. Yahooo. I might just leave ignition dangle there two more weeks . And hope I find old key. I was on my way to make spare. I live ways from town. Sucks.

    kill switch + 9v battery = vrroooom
    ....fuck the zener diode. Ain't got time for all that shenanigans. Goto the dollar store and grab a 9v. Get a toggle switch.
    Grab your ignition pig tail. Take the pink wire and clip it to 9v(+) side. add another wire onto the 9v(+)side goin to the ecm. Other wires are for kill switch bam your done.

      To cut a key to work the ignition but because of the Honda hiss system I can’t get the pump to prime or any sparks to the plugs ,
      The ignition switch has only three wires coming from it and there us no diode on the back of the switch I have seen your video but your wiring has four cables coming from the switch can you possibly help me out .
      Sorry for the long massage.
