I have a 14 plate! I cannot rate mine enough! So easy to drive, love the boot space. Doesn’t get enough credit for what it is. I just have the active model but I don’t mind not having a glass roof. Fuel economy is amazing on my 1.6l diesel manual. I got a great deal due to the cars low mileage when I bought it second hand in 2017. I’ve only just reached 39000 miles after nearly four years ownership of it. Turning circle is second to none and it’s so quick. Something that needs attention to address. Don’t be fooled by its looks. I’ve had two 1.6l cars one after the other. The first was a nippy petrol VX Meriva but it ate petroleum like stink. I was lucky to get 42-43 miles to the gallon. My 3008 is amazing and due to being diesel and can go over 350 miles on a full tank. I hardly have to worry about fuel anymore and it blew the Meriva out the park on the speed difference between the two which is surprising when think petrols have better speed than diesels do ❤️❤️❤️
I have a question, how much weight can the tail gate/lower boot door take when loading? I mean, can it take a person to sit on it or even 2? This is a more a question due to heavy cargo that might be put in
Just visited the local agency and got to admit that I was a bit dissappointed by the lack of leg space behind the driver - I am 185 cm tall and after adjusting the driver seat I tried to fit myself behind - and couldn't. Also had to bend my head to get in the front seat. Since this is the first car I tried to get into in this new car searching process and haven't yet compared it to the others - the driver seat did not feel that comfy - surely not as wide as I hoped. I hope the KIA is better suited for me.
lol is rebecca reading all the comments about her body ? she becomes certainly all red ! otherwise this peugeot 3008 is a good car with very good handling and confort . the best of his category
Miss/Madame, good day... Though its already 6yrs since you reviewed this Peugeot 3008, may I know if that is the Allure model or the Active model? Hope you would reply. Thank you in advance.
Rebecca showed us the lovely rear to this new 2008 !!. Looks like Peugeot have dropped the daft kiddy-car small steering wheel on this one which is a good thing.
This is only facelift of old 3008. Next 3008 will have superb small steering wheel as well as smaller sister 2008, 208 and 308 II has. Go and test 2008 or 308 II the small steering wheel is great. Big wheel seems so old fashioned after that.
Rob Booth Visuals TL;DR: American fuel, gear rations, gear boxes and engine tunings are utter shit. *** To answer your question, Rob, Europe gets far higher quality fuel compared to the states. US regular (87 AKI/91 RON) doesn't exist in Europe. Depending on the fuel station, regular in the UK can be either 95 or 97 RON ("Euro Premium" and "Premium", respectively in the US) with "Supreme" being 97 or 98 RON (again, depends on the fuel station). We also have high performance fuels that go to or exceed 100 RON, such as BP 100 and Shell Nitro+. America has limited access to fuels like that, if at all. We also don't mix ethanol in our fuels except for the dirt cheap stuff for older cars, but that's about it. Our engines also aren't tuned for low knock like American market engines. It may sound like a good thing, but it actually makes engines less economical as a result - all a low knock engine does is stop any potential unburnt fuel from reaching the exhaust (please note "POTENTIAL"). Since modern engines have knock sensors and adjust accordingly, the low knock tuning on many american market engines is useless. Lets also remember that Europe has moved to tiny turbo charged petrol engines and small Common Rail Diesel engines. Reliable, frugal, cheap to manufacturer. Hell, cars like the Hyundai ix35 (Tuscon?) comes with a 1.7L or 2.0L Diesel 4 banger in Europe, with the latter having close to 400Nm of torque, more than a much larger V6 as is used by many American crossovers and SUVs. We also get far better gear ratios on manuals (manuals are almost always more economical than automatics over here) and we also get more advanced automatics. The US is still stuck with slow and heavy slushboxes and CVT; yet here we've grown to love 6 and 7 speed dual clutch transmissions. As an example, look at the 1.6L Hyundai-Kia T-GDI Gamma engine used in both the US and EU markets (all figures converted to metric). In the Forte Koup Turbo, the Engine is rated at 22/30. On the EU market in the Pro_Cee'd GT, its rated at 24.2/38.5 with a combined average of 31.8MPG. From what I can gather, the US engine is pretty uneconomical. Pushing close to V6 territory in how thirsty it is. Meanwhile, in my Pro_Cee'd GT, I have a combined average of 29.9mpg when I don't drive like an idiot. Only 1.9MPG difference. I can get over 40MPG on the motorway if I'm careful with throttle inputs. If I lived in an area where the motorways and dual carriageways weren't full of those long, shallow inclines, I'd probables match Kia's combined MPG claim or exceed it.
benanderson89 Thanks for your comment. As you read in my article, I was comparing cars like for like in both countries. When I asked Mike Spinelli from the Drive network, he explained that the disparities exist because of different fuel consumption evaluations and testing cycles. Props to Mike for taking the time to answer. The Cee'd looks to be a good car.
Rob Booth Visuals There are different testing cycles, yes, but the fuel and tunings and gear ratios play a LOT into it. Weight as well. If you look at American Domestic cars (like Chevrolet, Cadillac, Chrysler etc.) they're surprisingly heavy vehicles.
Strangely enough I don't mind this thing.. if you have to haul a family and all the associated gear along with it.. love the sky roof! but that silly heads up display screen would make it painful to put up a sun shield during the summer months..
I really cant see the advantages of the split rear door - it makes the access to the boot more complicated especially for not very tall persons. If your lugged is near the back seats you should climb into the car...
well we are really lost now :) lets resume: 4007 is based on Outlander (Tne Citroen C-crosser share same base) 4008, ASX and Citroen C4 aircross also share one chassis and components and I think the 3008 is base on previous generation 308 but the silly split door still remains incomprehensible for me :)
Don't Peugeot understand that leaving a "hole" on the dashboard for the sake of "space" is a serious design flaw? It should be filled up by a radio or whatever rather than leaving a square hole there!
This "Midlife Facelift" is just like a midlife botox... It still isn't going to win any beauty contests! However, the front practicality is almost second to none, and I do like the split tailgate.
…and you sit quite high in front so you wont't spoil the space at the back as fast as with other cars (because you don't have to move the chair that much back).
1:20 I have an issue with this because bluetooth was always standard across the range, this shows they did not do any proper research for the car review.
The best seller, the 1.6 HDi 115 is a superb motor with the 6 speed gearbox, they're very refined and far better than the VAG 1.6 TDI 105 motor or 1.5 dCi 110 motor fitted to the Qashqai, much more torque and an extra gear which makes motorway journeys very relaxing. We have a 308 Allure & 3008 Allure with the HDi 115 6 Speed, both with above average miles and never gave a moments bother. The 2.0 HDI 150 engines are slightly more torquey than the VAG 2.0 TDI CR 150 motors also.
Reliabilty? The 3008 is really reliable! Underpowered? Even the smallest diesel can easly go well over 100mph at full load! And the 150 to 163ps engines are quiet powerfull ;)
It's a very cool car, if you need these sorts of features, but it's terribly ugly, so is easy to pass on. Peugeot have done better. btw-Rebecca you're such a breath of fresh air. Always enjoy your reviews.
Even though it is very practical and has a lovely interior, the exterior is hideous and would make me retch every time I'd need to take it for a drive.

I have the allure version from 2014. It´s fantastic indeed...
The boot opening is not a trouble?I mean the way it opens..the tailgate is not in the way, when you try to put somenthing in?
I have a question, how much weight can the tail gate/lower boot door take when loading? I mean, can it take a person to sit on it or even 2? This is a more a question due to heavy cargo that might be put in

With my sister's kids (aged 5 and 2) I give that nice little torch one day before it's gone.
Happy to see you Rebecca!!
Ah, creepy stalker comments, I missed you.
glad i'm not the only one to notice, its so un necessary
the boot is certainly a highlight :D
Does the ETG transmission for diesel variants a good alternative to auto transmission?
After her reviews I always go back and take a better look at her "rear view".....and it is really nice.
+Nickolai Siegfried you my friend would like to date a man.
Looking forward to the review for Peugeot 5008 MPV 2014!
i don't know if it's my wierd taste ... but i like the looks of this car .. but i have to admit, it looks better in WHITE
I like the look too ad I don't usually like the really sporty ones that much it's good to know I'm weird and alone in this 😉
... Not weird and alone in this ***
Great looks....great body.... The car looks alright as well
I just bought one of these over a Qashqai, wonder if I did the right choice, it was the fueleconomy that mostly did it for me
How is the boot, space is good?the tailgate is not a problem,i mean the way it opens
1: Guys take a cold shower!
2: I like the car.

Love the new 3008 ! Also in love with with Rebecca God girl your stunningly beautiful !!!!
lol is rebecca reading all the comments about her body ? she becomes certainly all red ! otherwise this peugeot 3008 is a good car with very good handling and confort . the best of his category
My family has a white 2015 one, it's great! Even my dog loves it :D
When you refer to the petrol engine to be "gutless" were you referring to the 1.6 L THP Engine .....?????
Love your new hair style, girl!
Miss/Madame, good day... Though its already 6yrs since you reviewed this Peugeot 3008, may I know if that is the Allure model or the Active model? Hope you would reply. Thank you in advance.
boot is perfect, and car have nice boot too
Great car! My dad is getting one next week and me and my sister are gonna ride in the boot 😃😃😂😂
Cameraman was like "I can split your tale as well"

Nice car
I like you more then the car, you are super beautiful, as previous caller has mentioned. God Bless you, and protect you. Amen
Is the panoramic sun roof fixed or operable ? Can it be opened and closed via an electric switch ?
Fixed but u can use a switch to operate the shade
What does UK 60mpg equate to in US mpg?? No banana.....???
about 50 mpg
They don't directly compare, please read my article here: robboothautomotive.blogspot.fr/2014/04/do-american-cars-consume-more-fuel.html

It's probably foldable.
I Love your practical review...Good Job :)
Not gonna lie, but she looks very attractive in this video!!
Where can I buy the 18 inch rim?
I really cant see the advantages of the split rear door - it makes the access to the boot more complicated especially for not very tall persons. If your lugged is near the back seats you should climb into the car...
It's a Mitsubishi Outlander reskin mate, hence that silly/ugly tail gate.
Adam Doodad That's the 4007 not the 3008
Yep, I did google after I typed that comment, lol. You're right. This car is related to the ASX though.
that's the 4008.
well we are really lost now :) lets resume:

nice rear...
Can you review the bmw I8 which comes out next month
Great car!
The 1.6 petrol access model is quite powerful with 120hp,199 lbs/ft and it is really practical
Please review the Suzuki SX4 S-Cross
Was there supposed to be a car in this video?
Can you please do a review on the "Audi A6 Allroad 2014"? Quattro or not :)
They've done the most recent version already: Audi A6 Allroad Quattro estate review - CarBuyer
Oh, thank you :)
Good reviewer she is
Where is Matt?
I really have no interest whatsoever in this car. Except Miss Rebecca Jackson.
My dads gonna get this!
This "Midlife Facelift" is just like a midlife botox... It still isn't going to win any beauty contests! However, the front practicality is almost second to none, and I do like the split tailgate.
Where is the 1.6 Bluehdi 3008 ?
what if you do not wish to own these car ? or have no licence to drive these car ?
The only downside about this car is the rear seats? So its basically perfect? Might trade in my M7 for it......
…and you sit quite high in front so you wont't spoil the space at the back as fast as with other cars (because you don't have to move the chair that much back).
Yeah Sherukka a no I won't I love all my cars and will never change them
Could you please review the Mercedes-Benz GLK?
Rebecca ...your smile is great
Defo best boot ..
That looks like Luxgen U7 from Taiwan.
She gives me naomi watts vibes.....she really cute too tho
WHERES MATT?
I think its the best car Peugeot make!
I Like Your Tests 😉

Yeah what a trunk ❤️❤️
i'm here to see rebecca not the car !
than dont watch it i love the car
carbuyer is for helping you decide witch car u want
1:20 I have an issue with this because bluetooth was always standard across the range, this shows they did not do any proper research for the car review.
I don't understand why we don't have a manual here in Malaysia! Furious! An auto ia just not good enough a drive.
did u buy this car?
njot bad at all, would like a 5008 but this one is nice too
What a handsome...car.
I always wanted a 308 or 3008 for the glass roof. Too bad everyone asked me to avoid it because of reliability issues and underpowered engine.
That car is ugly man buy a Lambo or something. You are worth more than this!
underpowered engine!?!?!? this is a complete joke, they pull so nice!
Brakke the 1.6 THP in the 308 is good, but in the 3008, like the 508, feels slow.
The best seller, the 1.6 HDi 115 is a superb motor with the 6 speed gearbox, they're very refined and far better than the VAG 1.6 TDI 105 motor or 1.5 dCi 110 motor fitted to the Qashqai, much more torque and an extra gear which makes motorway journeys very relaxing. give us babanas back!
Love the video. Dislike the car. The compromise of having an MPV over a regular vehicle is far too big to allow a severe lack of rear leg room.
It's a very cool car, if you need these sorts of features, but it's terribly ugly, so is easy to pass on. Peugeot have done better. btw-Rebecca you're such a breath of fresh air. Always enjoy your reviews.
So fit
Why can't Peugeot design a reclinable back seat, better still, sliding backward to create more leg room? Not rocket science ya?
Fantastic hair!!! Those hips, omg jut wow
Nice car, beautiful woman. I'll be dreaming of the two together over me.
This is a crossover suv not mpv
😍😍
why is she trying to sound like tiff nidel
MPV with no legroom in the back....what?
Even though it is very practical and has a lovely interior, the exterior is hideous and would make me retch every time I'd need to take it for a drive.
PEUGEOT Is Grey
Good features but its one seriously ugly car!
split tail gates are just unpractical
I'm afraid I disagree, it helps when loading large items.
whatever it is.. it looks ugly
An excellent and very well thought out car, it's a shame it looks ugly though.
its interior is OK but this car is ugly
however Rebecca's hair looks cool
cute and nice boot ;p
Well Hello Prity Lady.
the car look's very ugly from outside
Terrible car, only watched it for Rebecca!
I'm looking for something special (_|_) (not about 3008)
it is very practical, but God it's ugly
I came here to see a cute girl :)
I like Rebecca. Don't like the car.
