It's such a wonderful motor and you'd be hard pushed to believe it's only a 1.2 engine. After having Skoda Octavia's for the last 6 years this really was a jump into the unknown but so glad we did. Your review was spot on and it does look very striking in that white.
Good review. Have had our 1.2 auto allure for three weeks. Really pleased with it so far! Still working through the configuration options. Only seen one other 3008 on the road so far, on the M3. As for the 1.2 engine, a passenger assumed it was at least a 1.8 petrol!
@@ayyoubouakkaha2220 simplicity. I drive through congested areas almost daily to not have a clutch for that stop start traffic is a dream and also the cup holders are directly behind the gear stick so if you use them changing gear can be a bit of a ball ache. It's mainly for the traffic I went automatic.
Really well put together review with nice use of captions to aid the technical information. We have ordered one of these with the 1.2 engine and as we haven't been able to test drive it, we're a little worried it might be underpowered...seems like we might be pleasantly surprised!
Gallopingclap thanks for the kind comments and for getting in touch. It's a cracking little engine and never feels like a 1.2-litre. The 3008 has to be the go to vehicle in this market right now. Hope you enjoy your and keep in touch to let us know how you get on with it.
Driver's Seat that's very reassuring to hear and you obviously have a good handle on all the new cars out there. Hopefully delivered in may, so will let you know. 👍👍
I have a 3008 GT Line 2ltr Blue HDI, its a great car, very comfy, handles well for an SUV, is a delight to drive and is well worth getting over its rivals. The panoramic roof/sun roof can eat into that headroom slightly, its still well worth getting as an optional extra :) (grip control is also available for the more adventurous).
A panoramic sunroof as well as keyless entry were probabaly the only two things missing from our test car to tick the "everything you'll ever want" box. Are you wowing friends, family and frankly anyone who will take a look with the interior design? A proper AWD system would be helpful for added versatility.
Driver's Seat everyone who sees her loves the looks and interior, I believe there is a 4wd hybrid coming next year but as 99% of all SUV's only need 4wd to cope with high curbs and never go off road ( you get m&s tyres with grip rather than road tyres on most other 4x4 SUV's which is pretty pointless tbh), the grip control does me for the winter snow we get and any mild off road camping trips :)
Tony B if the price is right on the hybrid it could terrific. Be good to have the AWD choice across the range plus I'm still not convinced by Grip Control as yet, having tried it in several different vehicles. Keep in touch and let us know how you get on with her.
It's the best since but the 207's, 308's and 508's have been decent too. Just this one raises the bar further. The new 5008 will be a decent motor for larger families as well. The reviews of the 208 have suffered due to the brand losing appeal I believe, it is certainly better than some higher rated cars like the corsa.
I have the 2016 model and have absolutely loved it.. I am ready looking forward to trading it in for the new model in June 2019.. new digital display looks fantastic, currently I use the heads up rather than looking at the dials, so this will be a great improvement. However, I will greatly miss the drop down tailgate and split level boot..as it has been a real asset for loading and preventing items getting crushed or rolling around the boot.. hopefully they will review it for their next upgrade model..
They are indeed fake, you don't need that kind of exhaust girth for most cars under 2 litres. This car is made to look stronger than it actually is. I personally bought it because it's cheap to run, I can fit my drum set in it and it doesn't look like a potato
GT Line is the one to go for. The higher spec GT (no line) gist isn't worth the approx £5k . It's a wonderful car. And surprising the small petrol unit is fine for this car, though I'd get the 1.6, probably. There is nothing like this for its money. This, the rav4 h and the Octavia vrs estate are top of my next car list. Though these new suvs (yuk hate the term and segment tbh) id go auto over manual all day. And I probably will end up doing just that.
Driver's Seat can you please reply? Q. Should i buy 2017-2018 1.6 diesel gt line or 1.2 gt line puretech manual. I want something which have power. I dont know if any of those models are turbo? Thanks
Had mine for 8 months, multimedia systems reboots 8 times a day, no Bluetooth, dealer has no idea how to fix it. Should of stayed with Toyota for customer service.
Anybody would think with these adverts on this peogeot 3008 that they are better than a rolls Royce . Just a heap of shit.french of course topical.crap .
I have a 2019 1.5l diesel in black. Absolultely amazing.
Had our 1.2 Allure for just over a week now.....WOW what a fantastic car, it really does turn heads.
Edward Field great to hear from you. It utterly stunned me what an excellent all-rounder it is.

Edward Field that's very kind. Thank you.
Even the Octavia is available with a 1.0-litre petrol engine now.
It's a new world.
Ordered exactly that two days ago! By your reaction, I can't wait to drive it now!!!
best review I ever seen for the 3008. awesome!
Niclas Svensson that's insanely kind of you to say. Thank you

Picked up my allure last Wednesday. Got the automatic which I do not regret in the slightest. These reviews helped.
what did you like about the automatic, heard the manual is better?

Gallopingclap good luck. They look great on the road and you'll be wanting to show pretty much anyone you meet the interior.
SO????? Let us know!!!!

Driver's Seat their saying the all wheel drive Peugeot 3008 petrol electric hybrid will be around 300bhp. I'd imagine it will be expensive though.
Getting the 1.2 GT Line in about 4 weeks, can't wait
Canna Kit great news. Hope you enjoy it. Do keep in touch and let us know how you get on.
Is it underpowered?
Have to say this is the only Pug that I have liked since the 205 GTi!

This car looks its best on any bright Colours. Simply a head-Turner!!!
Great review. Just got my GT line 1.6 THP
Great Video Review. The New Peugeot looks very stylish and I also like the Interior as well
Jamie Pickles thanks. You're very kind. Go and sit in a 3008 if you can. It's very impressive.
Watching the Honda Civic Video Review later today
Jamie Pickles hope you enjoy it and will look forward to your thoughts on the Civic
How tall are you, mate?
Good review. I like this presenter. Straight to the point, no nonsense.
Many thanks
This is GT version that is why it looks so good. Standart mofels have other front light and front bumper design!
a very positive review tells me that you enjoyed the car !
Robert Lloyd you're absolutely on the money. Very impressed by the 3008 all round but the interior is very special indeed.
quality review, nice work! exact model I've got on order.
alex clough that's really kind, thank you. Hope you enjoy your 3008. Do keep in touch and let us know how you get on with it.
The exhaust pipes are real? It seems to me that they are fake :D. Good review though!

Nice rewiew and demonstration
Is the 1.2 underpowered?
Bro i am confused between 3008 and qashkai. Which is better

Very good review.

Usual superb quality review. If your money was going, would be on this or on the Mazda CX 5 you recently reviewed?
Very informative review and an interesting car.

rafina many thanks. Much appreciated
Driver's Seat can you please reply?

Should 'of' ???????
Integrated exhaust pipes - well, not really, the real exhaust is single tiny pipe and it’s hidden, those are fake...
This an allure not a gt line
This definitely a gt line trust me I got the same one by the way gt line stands a mile away and it’ has gt line badging all around
This an Gtline look an the side you can see read GTline
Massage!!!! Show me the button
