I always ask myself: How do you do to make so things in your big house! Cleaning, cooking art, gardering art, playing piano... and you always show a natural life...we are living with too much stress and the day it's not enough to do the whole to-do list😅 I admire you how is your quiet and cultivated life! I think that their ease and naturalness come from repetition and experience. They've been vlogging for four years and have been photographers and videographers for most of their lives. You can compare it to simple daily life task such as taking a bath or making your bed in the morning. You have your own steps, your own movements, where to start, where to end. You can even time yourself and finish at the targeted end point because you are like an expert in doing your daily routine. If you look at them closely, they do not "act it out". There is no second nor third takes. They record their activities as is so there is no time wasted on double takes. Also, they research everything and take inspirations somewhere before they do gardening and cooking. While most are born with innate raw talents, no one is born with all that knowledge. The ingredients that she uses for cooking are not your typical staple ingredients that are normally found in a kitchen. Those ingredients would have to be Googled, researched, ordered, bought or delivered for you to have them in your household. Before the camera rolls, everything should be available and prepared and the procedure should be flawless. Mistakes and bad takes will be cut later. It is an optimized performance of their own lives. This is one of the key points of aesthetic silent vlogging. You do mundane tasks in an aesthetic way. Also, their location is perfect for this type of vlog. Even if you can do everything and even better than she does, where you do this is always a consideration. Imagine filming yourself with noisy neighbors, loud music, gossip folks, barking dogs, car horns and the inescapable hustle and bustle of the city. Result will most likely be that you'll have to make 50 trips back and forth your camera to make sure you are keeping up with your aesthetic. You will end up feeling like what you show in your vlog isn't really your reality and you are showing a fake life. On the other hand, the kind of life that they show is real and is being enhanced by their filmmaking skills and well-written (and often copied) captions.

@@gencomments I think another big part of it is that it's a shared agreed-upon lifestyle made possible by both adults working from the home and their child attends school part of the day. I enjoy these videos, but I also feel an underlying sense of hopelessness in knowing that I'll never make it happen. Picturesque slow living is just a beloved dream for most, as some of us can never truly slow down. I do all the housework, raise 2 toddlers at home, take classes, exercise, and do volunteer work. Sitting down in a clean house for an afternoon tea and cake with a friend seems impossible.

I fortunately have my partner who is one of the most talented person I know. The way he uses the camera makes it so intuitive as if it's a part of his body. Thanks to him I can keep doing my thing without being interrupted, paused or staged or having to redo anything while the camera was kept rolling. That's what makes the vlog natural while maintaining the aesthetics. Even if there is no camera, I would still do everything the same way I did on the videos. I love beautiful things and creating beautiful things.

In Greece aluminium greenhouses cost around a monthly salary (no instalation costs or extras included). In my area we also suffer from strong winds that throw the plastic ones down and extremely hot summers that pretty much destroy all crops. I believe though that more people would opt for an aluminium greenhouse around here if it were more affordable. Seems like everything concerning gardening has become awfully expensive.

Yes, greenhouses are very expensive. That's why it took us 3 years to decide to buy one. And the weather in Germany is getting colder and colder, warm days are becoming fewer and fewer 🥲

The greenhouse is very good. In the spring, we plant cabbage seedlings, tomatoes and green salad in the greenhouse. And in the summer, we grow cucumbers in a greenhouse

Хочу дать пару советов: никогда не сажайте перцы с помидорами в теплицу, т.к. они любят разную температуру. Перец любит жару, с ним можно сажать только то, что также любит жару, например огурцы, баклажаны. Помидоры же любят более низкие температуры, легкий сквозняк, поэтому их желательно сажать одних в отдельную теплицу. При высоких температурах идет "стерилизация" пыльцы и снижается урожай томатов. Это надо учитывать. Также можно самим поработать "пчелкой": утром, в ранние часы, нужно заходить в теплицу к помидорам (во время цветения) и слегка потрясывать растения (или постукивать по ним палочкой), что бы пыльца сыпалась и завязывались плоды. Советы от опытного садовода-огородника, с любовью из России ❤ Желаю вам больших и вкусных урожаев!

I’m amazed this is a rental house. Here in the UK, you are not allowed to alter gardens or interiors. The most you would be allowed to do is paint the walls, but then prior to moving out you would need to paint it the original colour.

I know This isn’t about this video but I once grew a carrot but I forgot to give water to it and it dried. For its memory I’m growing another one and in 1 or 2 weeks it became to look like my old carrot :)

Imagino que em climas extremos é necessário muito mais cuidado que aqui no centro oeste da Bahia, no Brasil.
Nossa maior preocupação é falta de água ou excessos de chuva que podem acabar com uma plantação.
Mas, estufas para pequenas plantas sempre são usadas antes delas irem direto pro canteiro maior. Elas se tornam mais resilientes e resistem ao tempo. Gosto dos métodos de agrofloresta e permacultura aqui. Depois procure tbm ver o que cabe para sua realidade aí ❤
