Would you buy these again? If not, I recommend checking out Nitto Ridge Grappler. I've run over a dozen types of offroad tires, and they've been my favorite.

Old video, but with replacing just 2 tires on 4WD/AWD, doesn't that cause the wheels diameter to be slightly different and leads to premature wear with the center diff working all the time to compensate?

This is an old video but have you tried their new MT-02? Stronger sidewall, better grip and far superior longevity and material.

This is typical of overloaded tires. It happens to all overloaded tires. When heavy, you have to drive differently. A higher weight class is required but also driving style as to not spin soft compound tires under overload.
Performance wise, they are better than ATs but not true MTs for obvious reasons. They do great in dry dirt, excellent in deeps snow, and dry rock. Mud will defeat them and wetter dirt will require airing down low. They are extremely quiet to all other MTs because they are not MTs.
After switching to mud grapplers, I can say I had no idea how much tires really make a difference. The MGs are loud and heavy. I no longer have to use lockers front or rear where I always needed them with Pats or ATs and do not have to air down much at all (though I do for comfort). Also, Pats contact patch is narrow - 13.5 is really 10” so also switching to MGs, I had true 37” and 13.5” width which is a massive footprint difference alone.

What psi are you running on the pavement? I run these on my bronco and they are much quieter than I expected when fully inflated. I learned that they are crowned and need to be aired up tight on the road to get best performance and quietest operation. But they turn into b52 bombers when even a little low ha ha. They are a little softer than some other tires, which gives the great traction and flex but also makes easy cuts. Trade off I guess. Love the videos. Thanks for the update.

Depends on what I'm doing. Long trips 40 psi. 35 usually for light local driving. I'm comparing them as brand new tires fully inflated to what my KM2s sounded like new. The Patagonia was a much louder tire right off the bat.

I got a set on my jk, we trail tested them along with my buddies ride and his brand new Toyo mud terrains, and we were both extremely impressed with the Patagonia tires. They did amazing with absolutely no chipping whatsoever.. That's all the feedback I have at this point..Thanks for the video!

I have been considering these tires for my next set. I kind of want to go the Cooper SST Pro though. I will be moving to Tucson in October so I can't wait to wheel with yall.

Those are good tires. Not quite the grip of the Pat's and they chew up rubber a little faster for some reason... but you'll definitely get more miles out if them.

We've had these tires on for a year (with the same wheels and ours look just as torn up) and done a few thousand miles off-road with them so far. We're super unimpressed. They're terrible on dirt and loose material, bad in mud and abysmal in snow. They grip pretty good on slick rock though. About the only good thing we can say about these tires is that they were cheap. When they wear out there's no chance we'll buy them again.

Yeah and the problem is they are not so cheap anymore! Thanks for watching and commenting!

Mickey Thompson makes a great tire. I’m excited to see how my new set of MTZs hold up wheeling on this sharp rock in the Southwest. Especially compared to the guys running Pats and Coopers.

I have run Cooper STT's, Dick Cepek extreme countries and now the Kenda Klever. A buddy of mine is running the Patagonia's so I have seen them in action. I have to say the Kenda's are one of the better tires I have see as far as performance vs value. Might be worth giving the Kenda line up a look.

Well those milestar's tires are imported , I have been running Procomp Xtreme mt"s and had nothing but good luck no chunking grip like no other and have 40k warranty and good price

Yeah used to be a budget friendly tire. Off-road performance as good as most super expensive tires at a price you could buy 2 sets for the price of the big boys. Unfortunately they have become so popular the price has gone up to where you might as well buy more expensive tires haha
