Amazing INXS find. Im trying to seek out early INXS releases - their best stuff. Some of my most surprising finds were at outdoor flea markets and antique stores. Although, some antique store sellers can get quite greedy and inflate prices beyond reasonable. Good to see you again, brother. Get shopping again soon. You always find records that raise my eyebrows.
Thanks my 80’s friend. The INXS LP from ‘82 has been listed consistently higher than their other releases. A SEALED copy was very unexpected; got lucky I guess. Agree with the early releases are better…like Original Sin - ‘84 release feat. Daryl Hall on background vocals (my favorite). Scored thanks classic gem on 12” single along with Listen Like Thieves, and The One Thing. I truly believe most antique malls I visit jack up the prices regardless of vinyl condition; cover their booth rental fees & maybe some price negotiation. Yeah, great to be back. Making a trip coming up soon for out of state Antique Mall digging. Wish me luck - so rare to score a hidden treasure. Stay tuned!!
Cool Video !!!!
Thank You! Be on the lookout for my next video coming out soon. I was traveling & digging at Antique Malls, Flea Markets, & thrift stores (about 3000 to 4000 records). Of course, not many keepers for the collection; but I was able to score at least 4 pieces from my “want list”. Plus a few more unexpected gems that I picked up. Again, thanks for watching my video and hopefully the next one will be fulfilling for vinyl collectors.
Dude, I found a Faithless "Insomnia" the remixes, in original condish, the outside sleeve was a little beat up, but what a find! I got it at a record store that was going out of business, in Gainesville Florida. I almost didn't go, but so glad I did. This Saturday, my local area has a huge sell on some old vinyl. Can't wait to see what they got!
Congrats, my friend. What a great find! That’s a pure classic that you never find in your local record store. Looking forward to your potential treasures from the next dig. Please share & best of Luck!
You still around I see
Hello again my legendary DJ. Yes, always digging everywhere to add to the never-ending collection. After all these years, I’m still discovering new (80’s) music. Thanks for watching & hopefully bringing back those memories from back in the Day.
