Been searching up videos on the 2.0 to get stoked out on mine and this is probably one of the best! Geiselman is a wizard on this thing in that tiny surf. Mission accomplished - frothin to get mine in the water!

Ripping, but I think 1.0 would actually be better in those conditions.

Why do you think that. Just wondering because I am in FL and just got the 1.0 as my first shortboard.

@@over1498 I have both, and I love them both. But the 1.0 has less rocker in the nose and tail, and the tail is less pulled in. So, that translates to more down-the-line speed in softer waves, as seen in this video. The 1.0 is an incredibly versatile board, but I feel personally that it does have a fairly low ceiling in terms of how much size and power it can handle. So, the 2.0 is sort of the perfect transition when the waves get a bit bigger and heavier. The extra curve in the rocker and the pulled in tail provide more control in more solid waves. Plus, the channels carry a bit further up on the board, keeping it on track. For me, it's been nice when the waves are still shortboardable, but the 1.0 starts getting a little skatey. And as I said, it's an easy transition, since it's the same general feel as there are so many similarities to the original, so there's not much of an adjustment when you switch from one to the other.

The surfing is perfect form a quad set and volcanic construction and go one inch up and 1 liter of volume and that’s the formula imo

You look cool until you dropped in on the guy on your last wave and then rode the beach and didn’t paddle back out because you didn’t want to get called out for being a cook even though you surf good
