Have you surfed an Evo or a Cymatic? If not, buy a Cymatic, it's a really good step up in the quiver with a Seaside! I truly believe that those three boards are the best boards I've owned, and, I've owned far too many.
@@josesnowsneves5132 Pretty much. I not worried about certain volumes most of the time. I use the simple idea of more foam for small waves, less foam for good waves and lots more foam for big waves.
Paulownia trees are great. They grow wild all over the mid Atlantic because back in colonial days and into the industrial revolution they used to use the seed pods as packing material like those little styrofoam peanuts or bubble wrap. So they were scattered along railroad tracks and dumps and such. They actually start out looking like a weed with huge leaves. When they get bigger the leaves get smaller. The wood used to go for insane prices because they used the wood in Japan for ceremonial purposes. They have nice purple flowers in the Springtime .
Looks like there are a couple different varieties of Paulownia trees. Do you know what type this one is in this video? I'd love to grow one in my backyard but I don't want the giant one that gets super wide. I want tall to block the view of my neighbor's 2nd story that looks into my backyard.

@@beachrunner428 I have a 5'4 and I am 6 foot and about 170 lbs. I surf here in S. Cal - Creek to Tressles. The 5'4 is perfect for me from barely surfable days to a foot or two overhead. Love the board soooo fun.

I have a Seaside In five days of use, and in small waves, the leash plug breaks, this has never happened to me, firewire does not give me a solution, and they pass from me, I do not buy firewire again
Well neighbor looks like you know how to play guitar with open tuning can't tell what cord your tune to but sounds like open tuning maybe C. I'm out to buy a fish first new board 15 years. Been buying used boards. not like I haven't been buying boards. Unfortunately I'm probably going to save a couple hundred by not getting the seaside. Times are tight need to save that money. And I'm tempted to look for a used one. Found a panda rocketfish it looks pretty good.
Since Rob has no interest, would anyone care to talk about their experience with the new one vs the previous model? I have no idea what the difference is but I have two of the older ones and they seem plenty fun

@@DiscosVideos I only ever heard of the wild ones. Machado's tree looks like a regular old Paulownia to me.

Always enjoyable to watch Rob's surfing! What's more enjoyable is ordering a new Seaside! What a legend!
Rob still remains as one of my favourite top surfers of All Time . He is also a really nice, caring human being.
