I recall him talking about being threatened with a knife by one of his workers who was furious about being told the work done was unacceptable quality. Threatened by online activists.
And let’s also praise that this was an actual interview. No one trying to get i gotcha moments or the interviewer being so vile and trying to spread propaganda. I’ll be honest I can’t remember the last time I saw an honest interview like this. It’s damn refreshing. I just picked up bill oreilly’s book confronting the presidents. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! Every president is reviewed with facts good and bad and stuff you’ve never heard before. Like Washington and his mother never got along and she was always begging him for money and then going around town saying he made her live in poverty and she was starving 😂😂 it’s so fun to read. Should honestly be in every high school history class. I think kids would love this.
Honestly I’ve gone back and rewatched interviews of his. He’s that enlightening. I want to learn more about history but reading it just doesn’t sink in. Maybe it’s my 56 yo brain. I just picked up bill oreilly’s book confronting the presidents. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! Every president is reviewed with facts good and bad and stuff you’ve never heard before. Like Washington and his mother never got along and she was always begging him for money and then going around town saying he made her live in poverty and she was starving 😂😂 it’s so fun to read. Should honestly be in every high school history class. I think kids would love this.

Honestly I’ve gone back and rewatched interviews of his. He’s that enlightening. I want to learn more about history but reading it just doesn’t sink in. Maybe it’s my 56 yo brain. So I absolutely love to listen to people like him, Larry elder, Thomas sowell. There’s a few around but that group gets smaller every day the woke virus is still spreading

Victor Davis Hanson sounds so pragmatic because of his eclectic background. Not only is he a very educated and learned classicist and historian, but he is also a farmer. I have never known a farmer who wasn't down to earth with a good functioning commonsense way of approaching the world around them.

@ I also respect those men but Victors superb highly respected academic reputation, many years of university professor level high standing, his renown nonfiction authorship and as an in high demand spokesperson, vast knowledge of various historical time periods. He just seems to have a vast amount of historical and current knowledge presented in a down to earth clear truthful informative way. All of his information has been and is accurate, honest and actually balanced. He has never caused one to doubt his claims or question the validity.
