This was recorded before the debate. So, in the light of what happened in the debate, Mr. Hanson was very prescient here. That was a fascinating discussion about WWII political developments. I may have to re-calibrate my existing understandings. It seems to me that the problems in America and the UK are remarkably similar. The discussion about the decline of Rome scared me: the situation in the UK is frighteningly like what happened in Rome. Mr. Hanson's description of the personal qualities needed of a new Caesar could have applied not only to Trump but also perfectly to Nigel Farage.

She has a brain, and that's the problem. She would be less of a threat if she didn't have one. Some brains are like a calculator with the number 7 stuck or broken, so that your average calculation is skewed, and you consistently get the wrong answers no matter how many times you re-check them. The input is always forced through a corrupt agenda [or circuit] so even though you never know what answers you'll get, you know it will be wrong and detrimental to whatever task you're trying to accomplish.

It seems to me that the problems in America and the UK are remarkably similar. The discussion about the decline of Rome scared me: the situation in the UK is frighteningly like what happened in Rome.
