Very good video. I just Graduated from uni in UK in Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence. But have really been struggling to find a job, since most jobs need past experience.
Very good insights ! I work in area of Embedded devices. There are needs for Optimizing AL/ML models for resource constrained embedded devices which are niche skill(Training shall be done with knowledge of hardware limitation etc). Embedded AI/ML Engineer roles will pop up in an year or so when end customers have all high end Smart devices(Phones, Wearables) have hardware capability.
This is a great video... but one thing is missing which is every important role before releasing an AI product in a company there will be a giant team called compliance and ethics... I barely see those types of roles as software engineers. But in my past experience the ethics and compliance teams played a vital role and should be able to understand the AI application and make sure it's under companies standards. I would love to see what types of opportunities are available so that anyone who is already working in compliance and ethics can able to upskill in AI world.
I am a Veterinarian and i will love to work on a whole People and Pet platform that will be open and integrated in data at the source use models to create analysis and try to find solutions of real problems with the GOAL of improving the HUMAN ANIMAL BOND. What will recommend I know this can be huge ? THANKS!
Thank you for this video. One question: are language and linguistics skills of any help in natural language processing? Both in terms of just doing your job and of actual increase in hireability
Great question! While linguistics can provide valuable insights into the structure and nuances of language, it’s often not a direct requirement for most NLP roles. In many cases, focusing on NLP techniques, machine learning, and programming skills likely offers better ROI for immediate hireability I also host free monthly events right answer questions from the audience if you would like a deeper dive Here is the next one: www.linkedin.com/events/7269411175199580160/comments/
Really helpful information. Im from Canada and we have streamlined programs called advanced diplomas. Im currently taking one called Artificial Intelligence Software Engineering Technology and it goes in depth into ML, Neural Networks, Deep Learning and more. Do you think that a diploma from this program coupled with 2-3 ML projects would be enough to land an entry level role?
Ai in healthcare will be interesting in the next 5 years! I talked about it briefly in this post ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxq0POkzWssopzlFLyyh9cNQJdZJovMtg7?si=RNXcP7PpnpmbYAU7
I can’t stress this enough, if you don’t have a PhD or at least a masters in Math, Statistics, CS, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, don’t bother with AI/ML jobs.
@ I’m an ASIC/FPGA design Engineer who works primarily on AI and DSP hardware acceleration and verification ( I dabble in image processing on the side as well). I’ve literally never met anyone working on any real ML/AI project that’s not a PhD or at least masters level academic. Merely taking a look at most of these AI/ML jobs you’d quickly realise just how academically dense many of the requisite skills are ( that’s of course if you understand what’s required for such roles). Of course there are outliers, but from what I’ve seen, AI/ML jobs ( not data entry jobs) require advanced math backgrounds.
What if u studied undergrad in CS with some years of experience under your belt as a software engineer, from your point of view will that be possible ?
@@sayyidiskandarkhan3064 You’d be competing for jobs with masters and PhD candidates 🤷🏼♂️, so it’ll be up to you to prove yourself. But in my honest opinion, chances are slim, unless you intend to target implementation jobs like MLOPS, which are not really AI/ML jobs if you ask me .
Right, so you got laid off from big tech and are now the founder of exhaultitude which is a company that is basically just selling shovels during the AI goldrush. I get it, its easier to sell people a dream and get them hyped up that if they just change this and that in their resume then they too can have a successful career in AI/ML. I'm just not going to take anything you say seriously when your company is essentially a grift. Rather than selling a real product you guys are just latching onto buzz words and selling copium with "this promising career can be yours and never have to worry about money again, all you have to do is this one simple resume trick"

Aiming for data engineering myself 😍
Thank you so much
Any time!

What about Gen AI engineer??
What about it?

I answered that question in this video Zero to AI ML Engineer: Get Hired Without Experience

@exaltitude Thank you so much! What you do here really matters, so keep making great content!
there is a substantial difference between a data scientist and data analyst
Short answer is yes! I can talk more about it in an upcoming video. I’m interviewing a data scientist next week. Stay tuned!
what do tou think about ai in healthcare? 🙏🙏

Hii Jean need a suggestion in future ai takes software engineer jobs
I’ve shared my thoughts in this video 👉Did AI Just Really Take Our Software Engineering Jobs? (Or Not?)

Sir your LinkedIn?
How can I contact you mam ? i have a one Ai projecy
Is it possible that AI jobs can be replaced by AI 😂😂
Right, so you got laid off from big tech and are now the founder of exhaultitude which is a company that is basically just selling shovels during the AI goldrush. I’m sorry you feel that way
day by day u look more beautiful than before 🤍🤍
