    Super cute little journal. Love your processes and explanations for why you do it. I would also like to add that I LOVE that you’re not overproducing your video. I always leave videos quickly that have multiple camera angles when they’re not needed, too many extras like candles and soft lights and other distractions on camera that just aren’t part of what is being made or worked on (I’m not here to be entertained - I’m here to learn), and I appreciate the fact that you don’t solicit comments every three minutes by asking questions and encouraging people to “leave a comment below...” (its a shameless way to get their videos to the top of the search or suggested algorithms on UA-cam). This wasn’t meant to sound negative on others, just trying to explain why your video was so appealing to me. Great job! I’m in love with those papers! 🥰

    Hi Alice! Your tutorial is awesome and I so love your journal, it is amazing! 😍😍😍❤❤❤ The idea of using the graph paper to make your guide is great! I also love how "clean" your procedure and final journal is, meaning there is not a mess with glue or drying time or awkward hinges etc. I usually use wet glues for my covers and it is a bit messy but i haven't found any double sided tape that i can trust. Could you tell us which double sided tape you use and if it holds well after time? I also wanted to tell you that i love your videos and i always wait for them (wish there where more!🙃at least i can enjoy your old ones!🤗🤗🤗). Sweet greetings from Athens! 😘🤗🤗🤗

      I hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy.

    Love the way you did the journal. It seems so easy. How many pages does each signature have? How many signatures did you put? Very new to journaling and I'm getting ideas here and there but still not sure how to creat it. What size was your journal? Thank you!!

    • @RosyJournal
      @RosyJournal  3 роки тому

      Hi Norma, It is approximately 11x15.5cm and the spine is 4.5cm. I made 8 signatures and I included 2-3 sheets per signature in this journal. And it's ok the signatures have different number of sheets. I hope this helped! If you want to watch how this journal had filled with journaling, I have a flip-through video :D ua-cam.com/video/wM0u4NgETd8/v-deo.html&pp=sAQA Thanks for watching!

      Hi Maria :) I usually include 1~15 sheets per signature depending on the types of materials and sizes. But it's ok to have different numbers of pages per signature even in the same book. So I don't really count when I make signatures :) I hope this makes sense :D

    Why tape and glue? Cant you just use one or the other?

    • @RosyJournal
      @RosyJournal  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Kelei, I used them both because I wanted to be able to move around the paper to the perfect position I wanted even after I put it on the cover. Because If I use only double sided tape, I can not move around the paper anymore from the moment it touches the cover, and if I use glue stick alone, only on the edges, the glue stick will make the paper a little bit wet and it will make the paper edge stretches a little bit. Which might lead to get some wrinkles on the edges or get some air bubble under the the middle of paper. So that’s why I used double sided tape and glue stick both, I hope this makes sense :)
