In your Slovakian culture there are nuclear families or joint families, do people prefer to live with their parents. Do you also live with your parents?
it depends where in the country - west (around the capital) more everyone has their own family separate - in the east - it would be like more two generational houses - but even there everyone wants to live by themselves
Sadhguru speaks with such immense clarity about everything. It's been 6 years since I did his program called Inner Engineering, and it really transformed my life 😃 Since you're interested in spirituality, I recommend you give it a try and immerse yourself into experiencing it along with watching spiritual content 😄🙏🏼
really? My friend is currently doing it! Interesting - I may look into this - I think I have a book from a friend but haven't had time to look into that.
@@zuzanareacts That's awesome! 😀 I used to listen to Sadhguru a lot, and I used to really like what he was saying, but I had no idea if it is even possible to live like that for me.. And I somewhere read about Inner Engineering that he conducts and thought I'd give it a try.. And it all became a reality for me in just 7 sessions 😃 They teach this meditative process called Shambhavi Mahamudra Kriya in it.. I've been going it for 6 years.. And now if I don't do it, it feels like I haven't taken a bath 🤭 It's amazing.. You must experience it if you're interested 😄
Let me begin by defining how yogic principles define intelligence, only then can i describe what chitta means and why it's important. In the yogic understanding, there are 16 dimensions to the human mind. These 16 dimensions fall into four categories. These four categories are known as buddhi, manas, ahankara, and chitta. Buddhi is the intellect - the logical dimension of thought. Buddhi or the intellect cannot function without a certain bank of memory or data. Depending on the data you have, the intellect plays around. Manas has many layers to it. But manas is not just the brain - it is right across the body. Every cell in the body has a phenomenal memory - not just of this life but of millions of years. Top to bottom, there is manas - this is called manomaya kosha The intellect directly connects with the third dimension of your mind, called ahankara. Ahankara is sometimes translated as ego, but it is much more than that. Ahankara gives you a sense of identity. Once your ahankara takes on an identity, your intellect functions only in that context. It is important to function beyond the intellect, because the intellect is seriously enslaved to your identity. Chitta is mind without memory - pure intelligence. This intelligence is like the cosmic intelligence - simply there. Everything happens because of that. It does not function out of memory - it simply functions. In a way, what you call cosmos is a living mind, not in the sense of intellect but in the sense of chitta. Chitta is the last point of the mind. It connects to the basis of creation within you. It connects you with your consciousness. Chitta is always on - whether you are awake or asleep. Your intellect comes on and goes off. Many times it fails, even when you are awake. If chitta or the intelligence within you was not always on, you could not stay alive. Try to conduct your breath with your intellect - you will go crazy. Chitta is keeping you alive, keeping you going, making life happen. If you touch this dimension of your mind, which is the linking point to one’s consciousness, you do not even have to wish for anything, you do not have to dream of anything - the best possible thing that can happen to you will anyway happen. When people touch this dimension of the mind, it is called ishwara pranidhana in yoga To get to that, we need to tap the power within, samanjasya or equilibrium or shaanti, whatever you may call it, helps in that. When you are one with yourself you can feel the world outside as yourself. It may be hard to digest but when you consider yourself as mere accumulation of what you consumed, you will see that you are more compassionate of the world outside, as if it were a part of you, which it is, we just don't realize.
If you want to know more about yoga you can read this "Yoga Sutras of Patañjali" Because Patanjali spread the yoga in India But first yogi is Lord Shiv.. Yeah yoga is more than just folding body it talks about mind, intellect, union of ones soul with supreme soul. you can also find the pdf of this book in English for free. By the way its little difficult to understand such books..
In an earlier episode I had remarked that the West was more materialistic and the East more spiritual. This is just that .... India has always believed in 1) "Live and let live" 2) Balance in every sphere eg Power has to be balanced by wisdom. Otherwise you end up destroying others and yourself too
You are slowly entering into our actual spirituality 😅 where we follow our Yogic Science and it means to us .. there is lots from Sadhguru.. Welcome to this world 😊
Hi Suzana how are you? I think this was your first exposure to Sadguru. I feel that it might have been a little too much for you but I urge you to dig deeper and watch more of his videos
Hello Zuzana, my elder brother once told wonderful story: (olden days) elevator operator (making merely Rs.200/month) in busy 30 storey building while lying on his bed (khatiya) at night time thinks seeing lights of all floors ON "why would the building owner keep all lights ON costing lots of money unnecessarily?" he fails to understand that owner own this building worth lakhs (100,000+) running business making lots of profit every year paying thousands of high salaried employees. Well, an Indian stop there thinking how & why will this go ON while the Westerners try to furnish solutions to everything they come across including this vast universe with their mere Rs.200 earning mindset about creators reason behind Generating & Operating this world -which ultimately drive them to the problems we see nowadays everywhere in already developed world!
you are right - the thing is this is why the west is failing as its largely ego - for profit =. Now if you want to do 'world' right you have to realise we are all one and all connected and if you are exploiting someone you are really exploiting yourself. That hasn't really sunk here. I feel one more generation will need to pass for values to shift
The most worrisome is the damage we are causing to the planet and other species and its happening at an increasing rate. We are just starting to see how nature will fight back, imagine what it can do in the next fifty years.
Human development can thrive but Society development needs to slow down a bit,, before its starts making 10 year old girls pregnant and 10 year old boys as an alcoholic and fathers, as a common thing in society.
What is Hinduism? +++++++++++++++ I have long pondered on what constitutes this so called religion that is sitting on the head of my Tamizh people and have come up with some conclusions .... The priest from the Zoroastrian religion came to india with their Avestan language and fire rituals and later created some slogans in old Sanskrit to form the Vedas which was never written down. These priest learnt the principles of the Samana tradition that originated in the southern part of the sub continent namely in the Tamizh tradition and started incorporating it into their already existent vaiteegam rituals and produced the Upanishads and became vegetarians. For a solid philosophical footing which they needed in a highly philosophical Tamizh infused land about the 8th century Adi Sankara came up with Advaita logic that distorted the original Buddhist thoughts and produced a dichotomical nonsense which did not last the test of time. Later they took up the Tantric Samana Tamizh tradition and put forth the bakti religiosity. This they took also from the Christian tradition and desperately created for the Islamic onslaught. Bakti was based on erotism and appealed to the masses. The high Samana tantric philosophical basis was ruined for the newly conjectured 'Hindu' religion of the wretched puranic tales. This is the history of the Priestly class(Brahmins) that still retain their priesthood in the agamic temples that held sway through the bakti movement from the 10th century onwards. The consecutive non-Tamizh rulers firmly rooted the new found 'Hindu' religion with its caste system( the four varnas) that the British gave the final seal to....
Please, keep your long interruptions short! We are trying to listen to him and your interruption are not helping; too distractive; we can't follow him withyour constant interruptions! Let him finish speaking, then give your personal comments , please! Too irritating with your superimpositions as he is speaking. We lose our train of thoughts and listening processes with your untimely comments. Thanks for the video!
