I am missing something here. at 2:47 the couplings are coupled then you're doing a trailer break test. then at 3:15 you are connecting the couplings. Is this edited out of order?
This is not to test the trailer breakers, it is to make sure the locking jaws are securely around the kingpin. It is confusing because you can see the air lines are hooked up, which they should not be at this point...so yes it is bad editing but what he says is right.
Thanks Schneider for making such a informative video,I am Trailer Driver From India,Trained From IDTR(INSTITUTE OF DRIVING TRAINING AND RESEARCH)Pune(India),I am looking for Job In US or Canada,Are Vaccancy Available???, Please Reply,Thank You.
When I went to road master 20 plus years ago. They had an acronym LLP, does anyone recall what that would mean. Landing gear Lines, Pin or something like that
Wow it use to be pal. Pin airlines landing gear . Or lap. Landing gear airlines then pin . I guess terminalige changes. I guess I need a remeadial. Good job SNI trainer
😳 Hahaha 😝 ROFLMAO 🤪 It’s pretty freaking bad you have to produce a video how to hookup 🤦♂️ Quality of drivers really must have fell through the bottom of the barrel
Many of these videos such as this one are for students interested in , or going through training to be truck drivers- not those who are already licensed. Quality drivers come from videos like these and help instructors when students or prospective students are familiar with what they need to teach. Videos like these are helpful and used for visual training before driving school, not after.
@@PrisonPreacher touché, 👍🏻 Good point… I Seen this video 8 months ago - it was around the time of A LOT OF rookies where tearing up equipment in truck stops; My response was most likely in relation to the events at the time
Thank you for this video, I think it would be helpful if you showed every step as you speak.
James is my ED on the road for one week. He is very good instructor and very kind person. boom boom chop chop gogo. That is his nickname.
Excellent tutorial. Thank you sir
What happened to supplying air to the trailer during coupling? Pushing iin emergency brake supply air and listen to air escaping as you test brakes.

With the AUCOS-Coup System you can do that without leaving the Cabin ! no wires or cables need to be pluged .

2 inches to the left or right is wrong for illinois clp test
2:50 editing mistake - during the tug test the lines should be shown as connected
I think he did a good job why is Illinois telling you to hook up your glad hands before you slide under the trailer
Tomorrow is my first day coupling uncoupling at Schneider OC INDIANAPOLIS 🎉 HIRING DATE 11/04/2024
I don't need to watch a man read a script. This is supposed to be a video demonstrating the steps, step by step.
Then learn how to do it on your own.
😂😂😂😂for real 🤣🤣🤣
