I didn’t ‘discover them’ until I was 17 after being largely dismissive of them and ignorant of their body of work. All I knew was they had been around for an eternity, I had heard Satisfaction and Start me up which I both really liked. I bought a cd of theirs (mainly out of curiosity) and was absolutely blown away. I became obsessed with them and they remain my favourite artist of all time to this day.
Mick was always the ORIGINAL FRONT MAN in rock history. He made up the book. Whatever Jagger does is just a natural expression, and free( although he does front a slight southern accent sometimes). Robert Plant, Bon Scott, Brian Johnson, Bon Jovi, Bruce.....all of them learned from the master how to capture an audience.
Yes! Agreed! Just commented about the same- “Emotional Rescue “ is a huge favorite of theirs- 👆🏻 and this one are top favs- I believe this was the flip side of “Emotional Rescue”- I had the 45 record in elementary school-
This is on such a criminally underrated album by them. But then again following, Some Girls and before Tattoo You albums. It gets lost in between sometimes !
This is pure rock and roll, with emphasis on the roll. Extremely danceable! For my fellow Stones fanatics, there’s an amazing live performance of this one from Texas.
LEX cracks me up: Did I just hear her say that Keith Richards "seems so chill and normal?" The rest of The Stones seem chill because they are truly living up to the name Stones/Stoned. Mick was always one of the most sensible and business-minded of all the members of the band. That said, this is one of my favorite Stone's videos to watch. It's just fun to watch the subtle dynamics in the band.
One of My Best Friends -Who passed away a Year ago January - Looked so Much like Mick Jagger & would Imitate Him EXACTLY like you see him in this Video & other ones. It was amazing to watch him - I miss My Friend Randy !! But seeing your Rolling Stones Salutes - Really Helps ,Now that he's Gone and to remember Him THANK YOU !! Jim
I've never been the biggest Stones fan, but this track is one of my favorites. While so many R&R bands of this period had explosive drummers, the Stones had Charlie Watts, and I'm just as fascinated watching him, as he looks ready to fall asleep behind the kit 9/10 times. This is one of the few videos were he seems to actually crack a smile for just a brief moment. RIP
Charlie was the backbone of that band,he really has great chops and I'm sure you know he's a jazz drummer just like Ginger Baker from Cream and John Densmore of The Doors. 3 great jazz drummers who just happened to play Rock and Roll music. Love all 3 of them!! Don't underestimate Charlie Watts contributions and importance to The Stones sound, he was truly the perfect drummer for that band. 60 years in the drummers seat for a reason!!! RIP Charlie!!!
This and their song “Emotional Rescue” are my top favorites of theirs- I had the 45 vinyl/record in elementary school -and I’m pretty positive this was the flip side of “Emotional Rescue.” Which I’d love for y’all to do as well- 💞💙
This was recorded when dance music was outpacing rock in 80s. It's a departure from their other stuff and I loved it. They used to play it in the clubs in the 80s.
Certainly, one of the most creative, prolific, and influential bands of all time. They are upper tier alongside other artists like Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Who, etc.
Rolling Stone magazine, which most critics consider one of the most reliable authorities on rock music, ranked the Top Frontmen of All Time and it went like this: 1. Elvis Presley 2. James Brown 3. Mick Jagger Undeniable!
The Stones are so young in this video. Such a great band. So many great hits. And yes Lexi they were hhhhhoooottt. Plenty more.. " Satisfaction" an early great one. Keep checking them out. Great reaction. Big Hugs from Canada ❤️❤️ 🇨🇦🇨🇦
I sense 'It's Only Rock and Roll' in your future. This era of The Stones is bizarre and amazing at the same time. So many odd hits that only they could have written.
The Stones in the 80's much different (but still the same ) because of the video era.. They did have 5 studio releases throughout the 80's and even though their output could not match the quality of earlier music.. there were some bangers mixed in.. including this one.. and really some other cool songs you could hit on yet ..if the couchgang votes them in..lol..Interesting review..
Yeah, the band was clearly told to do a video, had no ideas other than "let Mick do his thing" and just ran with it. Fair enough, I suppose. I never did see that "put your hand on the heat" bit before. I must have been very young, lol. (And by "very young", I mean "17". Honestly don't know how I missed that.)
Mick was very appreciated by the ladies. Eric Clapton once told about a party he was at... all the men and women were mingling. Til The Stones got there. He said that Mick had almost every female there surrounding only him.
imagine how they got the bad boys reputation in the 60's. completely uninhibited and giving zero f's. always entertaining, sometimes controversial. cool reaction.
It's funny to see the video, because at the time - IIRC - the Stones were perceived as dinosaurs ... unbelievably aged rockers. A Sixties band in the Eighties. Now they look young. :)
One my favourites ! To me they are simple the coolest guys on the plant ..then,now and forever .His still jumping around the stage at near 80 almost ...like a dam athlete lol love your reaction guys ..shout out from Australia
There has never been a lead singer of musical group quite like Mick Jagger. He's truly one of a kind.
He invented duck lips 40 years before insta.
One of a kind cuz he doesn't ever sing. Good at what he does, but it ain't singin'. I love the Stones, but Mick's no singer.
@@gregnewman2512 Wrong.
Freddy Mercury???
@@eleven2170 mick!!!!!
Never been a huge rolling stones fan but the older I get the more I appreciate them.
Same. There was so much going on at the time musically, my attention was spread out.
@@hebber1961 I've become a big fan of their music from their inception to about 1985.

That was me and Zep
Same here but you got to give to em
If you've ever seen the Stones live, Mick is just like that on stage; very dramatic and non-stop moving!
There's so much good stuff by the Stones.
Always a pleasure. Thanx💞💓💖
Thank you for reacting 💛💗💓💞
Mick Jagger always seems like he has way too much fun, in a good way..lol.
Okay, you two goof balls make me happy and bring back some great memories. Keep on keeping on!
I love this song!! ❤
Epitome of Mick Jagger right here!!
Love the STONES!! 🥳❤👊🏽

Great tune from an awesome album! Love Emotional Rescue. First Stones album I purchased in the summer of 1980. ✌️❤️🇨🇦
Yes! Agreed! Just commented about the same- “Emotional Rescue “ is a huge favorite of theirs- 👆🏻 and this one are top favs- I believe this was the flip side of “Emotional Rescue”- I had the 45 record in elementary school-
"Emotional Rescue" and this song are about the only ones I remember from this album. I'm a lot bigger fan of "Some Girls."
The most chill guy from this band was Charlie Watts, the drummer. Rest In Peace Charlie.
This is on such a criminally underrated album by them. But then again following, Some Girls and before Tattoo You albums. It gets lost in between sometimes !
Great reaction. More Stones please.
You guys would love the Harlem Shuffle. The video is great and Mick dances the whole video.! ✌️♥️
This is pure rock and roll, with emphasis on the roll. Extremely danceable!
For my fellow Stones fanatics, there’s an amazing live performance of this one from Texas.
This might be my all-time favorite Brad & Lex reaction
Top!!! 🔝
No one's cooler than The Stones. 💥💥💥👍😎
You're so right 🔝🔝👍👍
Yeahh

The Stones always give fantastic concert!
Long time fan, when I hear them I feel happy and at ease. They're like I don't give a F&^%k kinda band.
I can relate to this song
Classic Stones song. All about the guitars and Charlie's driving drumbeat. Love Keith.
Yeah man yeah! One of my favourites by the rolling stones. Way cool! Get it Lex!
The Stones in the 70s and 80s attitude was.... we have made it. Now its time to have some fun.
My favorite Stones song!!!
Mick's antics that you are amused by are VERY effective live in concert. That's the best way to see them perform.
My favourite Rolling Stones song, thanks guys! 😎
Nooooobody does it like Mick. He's hysterical. 👍❤🤙
This song and video are so awesome! (the antithesis to modern day)
Mick say basically it's his job to show off, which he does better then most!
I've seen them lucky 13x and they only did this song once. I went nuts😂
Debbie,, I saw them in 72,75 at msg NYC,in 78 in NJ,in 81 and 2002 in Philadelphia. Great band Great shows.

The classic Stones style videos. Mick dancing around like a mad man and the bandmates trying to look natural. Keef always does the same pose. lol
"As Tears Go By" needs to be heard
I've never been the biggest Stones fan, but this track is one of my favorites. Mick was the ultimate Diva.
Luv the Stones!
OMG YOU GUYS Are HILARIOUS!!
You describe Mick Jagar to the tee
Definitely one of my favorites Stones songs. Jagger a trip love the lyrics
This song is so hype, but only Charlie can make this song so laid back and groovy,RIP, Sir Watts!!!
Try their song RIP THIS JOINT 🎸
Mick's always acting crazy! Their music a must.
You two are hilarious, this is by far my favorite of your reactions!! Very funny and entertaining, much love! ❤️🇱🇷🎼🎸🎶🎵
I love seeing how much you enjoy songs like this. I forgot how great a song that is and somehow never saw that great video!
This was recorded when dance music was outpacing rock in 80s. It's a departure from their other stuff and I loved it. They used to play it in the clubs in the 80s.
Yep Brad's right. Mick just having fun. Great reaction, thanks!
Mick jagger what a ham loves the attention. Love the stones. Great reaction lol
Certainly, one of the most creative, prolific, and influential bands of all time. They are upper tier alongside other artists like Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Who, etc.
After "She's so cold",with its great guitar riff, there's no other way,you got to react to another Stones gem,"She's so hot"
Rolling Stone magazine, which most critics consider one of the most reliable authorities on rock music, ranked the Top Frontmen of All Time and it went like this:
1. Elvis Presley
2. James Brown
3. Mick Jagger
Undeniable!
Can't go wrong with The
Strolling Bones.
Brad-"Such good lip control, ridiculous" lol I'm glad I'm not the only one who cracks up when I see Mick singing.
An often over-looked gem from the 1980s Stones.
If you have not done Miss You by them, it should be next. Very funky and groovy and catchy
2nd...loving me some Stones this morning...Mahalo for this fun reaction...a hui hou
My face hurts
I'm just SHATTERED!!!
The classic Stones vibe in a song that probably took them about 5 minutes to "write".

This one came out in the in the early 80s.
This song is so rock and roll forreal
You guys had me laughing out loud!!
Laughing about what ????
Brads shirt hahaha...remember genuine talent can make anything sound good
The Stones, screwing around, someone hits "Record", a hit is born.
I sense 'It's Only Rock and Roll' in your future. This era of The Stones is bizarre and amazing at the same time. So many odd hits that only they could have written.
I bet not many people say Keith Richards is so normal
My thought too. Don’t really know Keith’s history and his role in the band.

I don’t think they’ve done “Waiting on a Friend”, “One Hit (To The Body)”, or “Mixed Emotions”, all which kick ass in their own way from that decade.
My friend Scott and I used to mimic Mick Jagger in this video, but we'd be even more extreme crawling on the floor, etc 😂
Memory Hotel, Almost Hear You Sigh, Miss You, Blinded By Love
Fun to dance to . Not many other bands came close, but then nobody else had Charlie . 😎
I know you will appreciate "Waiting On A Friend." 😊
Lex from 2:09 - 2:38, pure comedy genius, love that Jagger impersonation, laughing my ass off
Lmao❤ I grew up on this!! But I do understand as my daughter taught me to understand, moves like Jagger!!! Whew hunty!!
Mick was very appreciated by the ladies. Eric Clapton once told about a party he was at... all the men and women were mingling. Til The Stones got there. He said that Mick had almost every female there surrounding only him.

I heard that Mick Jagger was part of a siamese twin. He and Steven Tyler stuck together with their mouths... 🤣
Me and my friend al delago seen them with zz top 1981 cotton bowl Dallas TX.
One of the best stone’s songs
Had this cassette and wore it out

Greatest Rock N Roll band ever 🤘🤘
Brad & Lex, you’ll love their "Lets Spend The Night Together" !!! She's So Cold is underrated, fun video.
Satisfaction is the best song by the stones. It's one of the top 3 most easily recognized. MJ "Bad' is another easily recognized.
