Pity you didn’t react to the offical music video, Jagger gives a visual performance to accompany the track that is really cool. I think the unique Jagger vocal on this track with his phrasing etc really elevates this track which lacks the signature riffs other Stones tracks have. I love it when Jagger sings like this embracing his unique style
The Rolling Stones have always had a great delivery for their songs. Seems so simple, yet it sounds so great. I got to see them once live, in Philadelphia during the mid 90's. Awesome show. Stay cool Dani, during this hot summer in the city. Has been quite pleasant, here in Western Ohio.
A great reaction, sweet Dani. ❤ I appreciate you pointing out the differences between today's manipulated voices and the strong vocals of yesteryear. 👍🎸
Some great Stones songs to listen to are: "Ruby Tuesday", "Get off of my Cloud", "As Tears Go By", "Jumpin' Jack Flash", "Honky Tonk Woman", "You Can't Always Get What You Want", "Mother's Little Helper" and so many more. You may have heard some of these, but there are so many great tunes by them.
I understand why you chose this version but Jagger especially in his older videos is so compelling on stage that he’s hypnotic to watch, but I understand there may well be some copyright issues with such vids. The Stones whilst world renowned, don’t necessarily get the full credit due to them for their song writing abilities as much as they do for their performance ability.
Good point about the recording. I don't know if you ever noticed there's lots of minor but not especially noticeable mistakes on Led Zeppelin recordings. Jimmy Page has acknowledged them before and said that it's because he didn't like to do more than three takes on a song because then you start to lose the feeling and energy you started with. He knew the value of their music was in the energy and feeling they put into it, not in absolute musical perfection. I agree that a great recording is one that sounds like the whole thing would sound the same done in your living room. Great reaction!
we would love to recommend to you the following songs for its lyrics: America - A Horse with No Name Supertramp - The Logical Song Aretha Franklin - Respect Inxs - Suicide Blonde Nina Simone - I put a spell on you
Any Stones will give you a thumbs up.

Dani is sooo cool.😊
Probably not in my top 200 Stones songs. Still pretty good though!
LOL! Only 200?
@@thegorn68 I meant to say top "favorite" Stones songs. There are many songs by them, like this one, that I like but are not quick up there.
this-is-why--I-never-pick-up-chicks-at-the-morg
That's not one of Stones' greater songs, to be honest:)
100% agreed!!!!
Auto tune sucks
