    Very efficient! I think theres a few Albertans here that would appreciate something like this!

    Good operator and by the looks of it a good fabricator.

    Very good ideas here. Skidsteer/excavator combo.
    I work in a vineyard and would love to work with a mini excavator using the arm with a variety of implements, not to mention the usual tasks. Adding the loader capabilities gives much more potential.
    I liked your rock sorter, may fabricate one similar but stronger.
    Lastly, wish you'd given a closer look at that paving/grading tiller thing... not really sure what it was doing.

      That rock screeener is 10 years old and not bent even a little bit. The bigger the rock I throw on it the better and faster the production I can get.

      @Atoyota 7 років тому

      Yeah we have a rock bucket for the skid steer as well as a grapple root rake that can sift some rock and logs, but not well enough to remove all the dirt.

      Here is a video of that rock screener in use...ua-cam.com/video/tP8TPdX-OY4/v-deo.html

      Yeah that looks very effective. We have stone walls we've pushed down mixed with dirt and that screener looks like it would be perfect for the job.
      Also looks to be a good welding project.

    The skid-steer mount plate on the original blade mount is pretty clever. Maybe need to add weights to the far end of the track-frame though - it looked a 'bit tippy' with it all loaded up?

    • @bobm6527
      @bobm6527  4 роки тому

      It is actually not to bad for 90% of the time. Depending on the terrain, which is applicable to any machine load, it may become "tippy", especially when I have both the 4 in 1 bucket and my 3' boom bucket both loaded fully. The quick fix to balance the machine though is to keep boom in tight, or just spin house around altogether and oppose the boom to the 4 in 1 bucket.

      Thanks for the feedback! The possibilities are limitless. I can't wait to get my hands on a stump grinder attachment and a cement mixer.

    You built this? Wow, awesome. That is exactly what's missing from my KX 121-3. I've been struggling with "do I need to buy a skid steer" but this is great. How can I get one. I need a grading blade too. Nice job making the best of this awesome machine. I've had one a few months, came with the standard 12" and 24" bucket. I've been stuck with those but wanting to make the most out of it. I don't pay a second of attn to any neg comments. Keep this coming please! More info.

      We are building these and are working on a system for machines that are only a 4 way blade. This does not replace a skid steer on a larger project involving moving lots of materials. This is a tool, much like a thumb, and it increases productivity, but it will not totally replace a skid steer.

      It sounds like you should forget the other machines. The Kubota L47 or M62 would be both of them in one!

    @BobM how can the bucket be utilized to load dirt into a dump trailer/dump truck? Would this in conjunction with a blade buddy be the complete package or is there a way to do this with your product? And what is the smallest excavator this works for?

    • @bobm6527
      @bobm6527  4 роки тому

      For dirt loading the boom is the most efficient. I've seen that blade buddy. My biggest fear with that is safety. Who is running the machine? Your not taking a full bucket of dirt and reaching out with it, or you'll flip the machine over. You need a bigger machine for that to work well also.
      I could load a pallet back onto a low dump trailer, but I'd not even consider using the 4 in 1 bucket for anything other than moving large volumes of material around. A 5k excavator is about the smallest machine I would ever set this up on, otherwise you lose to much lift capacity. I have moved 3k pallets of pavers with the machine you see in the video, but that was totally maxed out and going up a driveway with a slight slope.

    Why didn't the truck just tip off?

    • @bobm6527
      @bobm6527  6 років тому +1

      Only because I was demonstrating what the machine is capable of. If you watch later in the video a pile on the ground is very easy to pick up and leaves little to almost nothing to hand shovel or sweep.

    Seems like to me you'd of been a lot happier if you'd of mounted the bucket to your boom like the mecalec tractors, you have so little range with that. To each his own tho.

      If my idea is so "limited" how come Cat spent, probably millions, on their version of this? ....and I've tested their version, I like how mine works much better.

      You're much more limited on what you can move if you put all that weight on the boom.

    Hi super tools. I was looking at your think you build for removing the rocks from the earth, is there any way you can provide me with the dimensions. I have a Hyundai 35Z-9 and tons of earth to clean up by removing the rocks and your tool made with springs and rods will be perfect for me. Thanks

      I do. I went out to Kentucky show this fall and test drove their machine. I think my setup is much easier to use. They have an electric switch you need to keep stopping to push in order to switch from the boom to bucket controls.
