Hi, you totally made my day, thank you! I'm just starting out with UA-cam, hope you enjoy my content i'll be filming in the coming months. Welcome to the channel.
Super helpful video! Would you say this is still a great choice for M1 macs, considering all the ‘new’ TB4 docks coming out? In terms of connecting a monitor, do you think this would work with a Dell ultra wide via USB-c ? Thanks again.
The main difference between this and the thunderbolt 4 is the ability to hub the thunderbolt bus, it’s basically is the same. If you don’t need all the thunderbolt and USBc ports, then this is a fantastic option. Prices very well too.
Let me know what you think of this dock, especially if you're using the new M1 Mac. I've tested a number of docks over the past months and this seems to be a really good one.
@@txt7s335 Both are definitely the highest quality and most refined docks on the market. Both are also reliable so i'd say it's more personal preference. I really like the finish of the Plugable dock, it matches well with the space grey of my macbook. Plus the form factor is really nice, like the vertical setup.
Hi, just wanted to get back to you about the 11.3 update, seems like this update has fixed the resolution issues. I've been using it for a couple days and haven't experienced it so far. So it seems everything is now perfect with the M1 computers. Hope this helps!
Great video and fantastic editing hope your channel grows a lot more.

As for the monitor, you could do a cable display port to usbc.

The logo/branding on Plugable's products is so ugly. I wish they cared more about the aesthetics of their products.
Does Big Sur 11.3 fix the display issues ?
Hi and welcome to the channel. I just installed 11.3 this morning, will do some testing and get back to you.
@@CHECKTHISOUT-CANADA Thanks, and I have another question, CalDigit and Plugable which one are more reliable ?
